I wish I at least, had one of my two brothers to play in a band with. Something about brothers, and having the same band. The Everly Brothers from the early rock years hated each other. Died hating the other. The Robinson Brothers from the Black Crowes, also. Only band I can think of without that hate was AC/DC's Young Brothers. I always loved Oasis, especially Noel. An incredible moment in the life of a performer, a creator, I can only imagine. Clearly he's profoundly moved, understandably. They were never my "thing", I belong to a much earlier generation, and thought comparisons to the Beatles absurd, still do, but I came(grudgingly) to recognize, acknowledge the songcraft underlying Noel's best work. Obviously, Liam's gone at this point. I was offered the opportunity to work with an alumnus of an early Toronto female-led punk band in 1980, and declined, electing to continue pursuing my own music. They traveled to South America, obviously nothing like this, but I wondered about it, a little rueful, when they spoke about their experiences when I encountered them a year or two later. Oasis is iconic, and this song is my favorite of theirs. Lyrically and compositionally it's just about perfect. What a tribute that the whole audience knew every word and melodic line. Great reaction RR.
The one song that should be on your list is "Ben Howard - End of the Affair, Later with Jools Holland" - an unbelievable performance that can't be missed!!
Never saw them live, but I count myself lucky to have been in university when they were at their peak. It made for some fantastic nights out in the clubs!
the Line " Stand up beside the fireplace take that look from off your face" is actually true , when their mother Peg use to take photos of the boys when they were kids next to the fireplace Noel would always have a funny look on he's face...hence the line in the song ✌ ( there also is another Brother called Paul)
I have been amazed by the fans there, the joy the music brings to the crowds is given back to the band's 50-100,000 fold I know iron maiden and AC DC love playing there, so did Freddie Mercury.
Listen if your new to oasis you don't know the fans have sung every lyric to every song since day one biggest band Eva IMO 👍 respect from stalybridge Manchester UK
The most emotional i think noel sings this song , there is a bit where he looks at the sky to the end , I recently lost my Mom and Dad within a year of each other, so now whenever I listen to this song and sing I look to the sky and think of them ,when I first watched this I didn't really take anything from him looking up , but after they passed I broke down seeing it , it just feels like he looks to the sky for someone he knows who has passed. His interviews always entertain me , they have got me through some tough times. They were there for me in the 90s for some of my best times , and Noel is there for some of my worst times now.
I can’t see it , they would make so much money you would think they would though, HUGE here in the UK still ,lots of youngsters still listen to them too
I'm from Burnage and Noel bought his first guitar from a crazy guy called Lepy when he lived in Cranwell Drive. He has sure come a long way from those days.

I just got recommended this video. I was a major fan of Oasis when I was growing up in England. As a mixed race girl, (who lived in the south east of England) they aren't meant to the first choice of first musical loves. They got me through some very tough times and they will always have a place in my heart. Manchester lads forever!
Pls do more oasis. It would warm my soul x
I agree with that 100%. Also Ben Howard singing Depth Over Distance live on KCRW
Absolutely. Weird thing is, the video is blocked in the U.S. Use a VPN, go to Iceland (lol) and enjoy that masterpiece though.
Never saw them live, but I count myself lucky to have been in university when they were at their peak. It made for some fantastic nights out in the clubs!
Glad you did this song the band are from my hometown and seen them live many times 👍🏼
The way the music just hits you is just perfect and beautiful ❤️ I think I love you 😘
One of the greatest live performances I have ever seen.. I watch this at least once a week so glad you reacted to it!!
🙏🏻❤️🎶
Hola hermosa reacción 👍 me encanta tu sensibilidad y comentarios 👏 🌷Saludos desde Argentina,🇦🇷 .
the Line " Stand up beside the fireplace take that look from off your face" is actually true , when their mother Peg use to take photos of the boys when they were kids next to the fireplace Noel would always have a funny look on he's face...hence the line in the song ✌ ( there also is another Brother called Paul)
The look on your face… the look on the faces in the crowd… the look on Noel’s face… Tells you everything you need to know about this song and Oasis.
U are so sweet! Thank you! best from Buenos Aires
Fans in South America are next level. Look up Iron Maiden, AC/DC, etc
Just unreal
I have been amazed by the fans there, the joy the music brings to the crowds is given back to the band's 50-100,000 fold I know iron maiden and AC DC love playing there, so did Freddie Mercury.
Agreed. Well said
Listen if your new to oasis you don't know the fans have sung every lyric to every song since day one biggest band Eva IMO 👍 respect from stalybridge Manchester UK
viva argentina, the band.
There debut album is one of the greatest ever recorded! Every song is phenomenal
I shed a few tears by the end 🥹 it’s so beautiful when moments like this happens
If you’re diving into Oasis, I highly recommend “Stop Crying Your Heart Out”.
this song is so amazing. managed to get a decent crowd in austin texas for noel and dont look back in anger had same vibe, was incredible.
I wish this band would put aside their differences and get together one more time!
And then once they are in the studio start it all up again. The bad blood makes for better music, a la Fleetwood Mac “Rumours”.
Me To 🤝🤝🤞🤞✌️✌️❤️🩹❤️🩹
Noel said he would for $100m!!
I can’t see it , they would make so much money you would think they would though, HUGE here in the UK still ,lots of youngsters still listen to them too
Doors reference?
I didn´t know you, and i loved the peace in your voice. Cheers from Mendoza, Argentina.
'The lingua franca of the world is not English, it's music' - Bob Geldof
Cool! My favorite band. The show in Porto Alegre/RS - Brazil, was amazing.
I'm British 🇬🇧 and an oasis fan but I didn't know he was a lefty playing right handed so thank you for teaching me that 😀👍❤️.
I'm from Burnage and Noel bought his first guitar from a crazy guy called Lepy when he lived in Cranwell Drive. He has sure come a long way from those days.
