I grew up in the subrubs in the US and all of my rebillion, which was massive, came from the fact that I felt so much of what existed under the surface of me and that I was living in a society that was so pathetically afraid to acknowledge that we should ever do such a thing. I've never been to a place south of Texas where people were that kinds of cowards. If you want to sing, dance or rebel against your government, then you had better the fuck do it. That's what South America is. Here is home for me.

I know that this video is old, but i think commentators and reactors fail to understand the audience. Yes they are Argentinian, and yes their first language is spanish, but think about which Argentinians are paying the price of that concert ticket. They are most likely middle class who can afford the ticket. Those middle class Argentinians are mostly bilingual, if not trilingual. Spanish, English, and Portuguese. So just because they know the lyrics is not extraordinary. The extraordinary is the decision to sing the whole song. It is incredible.
Could we for like fecking *ONCE* give some recognition to the guys up on the stage & the nation they came from which probably gave the world *90%* of its most amazing Rock music rather than celebrating a nation for its "crowds?" Like... just fecking *ONCE!* 😠
