  • Keep those young persons hands warm for the Family Mittens for 6 / 8 Years Old Children. This pattern has 4 sizes of mittens which include 2/4, ladies and mens. Sizes for the family. It's an easy to follow pattern with a cuff that is fabulous.
Most of your time will be crochet the cuff. It's using the slip stitching technique that creates the ultimate elastic cuff for crochet. It appears knitted but it's done with crochet. Of the mittens in our collection, these are my favourite.

Thanks Mikey. Your tutorials have been so clear and complete that I've gone from a total newbie to a fair crocheter. Thanks also for sharing with us that perfection isn't the absolute!

I think one of the problems with this tutorial is you are measuring and not counting your rows. If you count your rows and keep them consistent then I think you will do better. I hope that this helps.

hey mikey what kinda of hooks do you use? do you have a plastic handle or a silicone? im looking at buying a new set of hooks for me.

Taya Keesler his look like silicone, I've used silicone, plastic, and clay, I really recommend the silicone. they are softer if u have a firm grip and it really takes a lot of the pressure off of your hands

I for some reason can’t get the first slip stitches correct. Looks to long on one end or if I missed something.. I go back and retry and same thing 🤔🤯😢 help me lol

Stormy Watson if you're talking about the cuff, when you go to put the two ends together one will look longer but they should both have 8 stiches

The yarn used in this project is Bernat Satin, a worsted weight/#4 medium yarn
