  • Keep the young people in your life warmer this winter with a fresh pair of Crochet Mittens for 2 to 4-year-old sizes.
    These mittens are easy to make from starting at the cuff and working their way up to the top of the mittens. The Cuff is made up of a rectangle that is folded once you get it to the right size. You slip stitch up the side to join the cuff and then instantly begin the rest of the mitten.

    You should probably use a lighter coloured yarn so it's easier to see the stitches. Please and thank you.

    Nice pattern, thanks. If I want to make 2 things simultaneously, I use a pull skein and pull 1 strand from the center and 1 from the outside so a second skein isn't needed.

      @@TheCrochetCrowd Hi I'm making them for my grandchildren. It is so exciting to have them pick out the yarn. I have been making them in the evening and it is so enjoyable. I almost have the pattern memorized. I also used just the cuff part of the pattern to make cuffs for my grand daughter's coat that didn't have any. I will just sew them into the sleeve. This way the cold air won't go in around the sleeves and she will keep warm.

    thanks so much for the pattern and tutorial. I'm making my boys some hooded button up jackets and these mittens are a great addition. I'm going to make a chain, about 145 chains long, to connect the two together, like they used to make so they *hopefully* wont lose them. They really are so adorable! I'm almost done making the 2 pairs, I just need to finish one mitten, and then I'm going to do the thumbs all at one time.

      I have to watch my humour. I upset people just living my life and being who I am in a public forum. So I have to watch myself and just allow little peek a boos but not allow myself to be the full Mikey on camera. I don't have the strength to fight with people to live and breathe.

    I printed out what was SUPPOSED to be the pattern for all 3 sizes. I needed toddler. you're counting 8 b4 hdc x 2 in same THE PATTERN SAYS 9! I'm almost finished & it doesn't look right, so I come here & you're doing a completely different pattern than I have. How disappointing.
    I'm gonna look for another tutorial.

      This is not a beginner pattern. This is an Easy Level Pattern which beginners will have some knowledge of crochet already. Mittens are not a beginner pattern as there is shaping involved. I'm sorry.

  • @Pathrissia
    @Pathrissia 9 месяцев назад +4

    You are very fast. Worse is that you don't say how many stitches there should be each round. I lost myself along the way. Looks like I'll have to undo all my work as my end result doesn't really look like yours size wise
