You know I understand that some folks would really like to have a picture at the beginning of the video, and even though I probably won't ever make this, I watched and I appreciate the talent that went into making it. I especially appreciate the patience it takes. I think the end product was quite lovely.
I'm currently working on making this and will have to update later. She has great ideas but it does take a view rewinds to see the details. I enjoy making things from materials I already have. I made a strap purse in tunisian crochet from plastic Kroger bags, put a lining and a solid bottom into the bag and a magnetic snap. That was 8 years ago. It is my go to purse and I have gotten many compliments on it. But nobody ever guesses that it's made from grocery bags. ----- But back to this lady. I'm always amazed at the talents and gifts of people. I can certainly re-create many things after seeing them, but I would rarely have the original idea. Fabulous.
Really cute! I have saved a boatload of those pull tabs, thinking there must be something I can do with them. Now I have the instructions to make a darling little sea creature with them. Thanks for sharing!
With the arch design, you could make swans out of them. Beak on one side, body on the other. Face to face and make a heart. Theyd make cute dangly things. Maybe too big for keys but hang em on flower pots or drawer handles.
How sweet!! At first I am amazed that you are not using a crochet hook. Then I become amazed and wonder is this a snowflake? Then you surprise me!! You are a very good talent very well done!! I will watch your videos on your channel. Thank you. 😊
Very cute !I thought I knew what you were making ! Then it turned into octopus! IDEA keep making the Twirly part all around the middle! are you ready ? A SNOW FLAKE ! Pretty on tree on a gift with ribbon on package just even in a window anywhere! Happy Holliday !
8/18/23: I was wondering where the design was going and then WELLA!, it appeared and wow, how beautiful it turned out. What a wonderful and creative project. I loved it! Thanks for sharing.
It’s “voilà” but, yes I agree. I am also amazed at someone with the ability to create something so beautiful out of what looks like nothing from my perspective.
@@SoCOJules You say "viola" while I say "Wella", cause that's EXACTLY what I meant, but let's call the whole correcting 101 thing off. To each his/her own. Yaa-daa, or should it have been Taa-daa?
OMG when I started this video I read the title and was like whatever they are making probably isn’t a ‘genius’ but when I finished the video I was like WOW that’s a great way to recycle a can lid.
The eyes are a nice touch initially, but not sure they'll stay on with the wear & tear of regular use. Is there an idea of how to fasten them more securely? Otherwise, I think I might make eyes with white & black thread.
There used to be (hopefully still available these days!!) eyes with slits in the back so you could sew them on (like a shank back button). They might be more sturdy sewn on?
A lot of times, people keep the pull tabs and gather them for charity groups, especially battered women and children. The pull tabs at certain recycle places give money to one's in need. But you have to have a great deal of them.

A picture up front of what was being made would certainly be helpful. I just could not figure out what it was going to be. Cool idea!👍

Put a picture of the finished product at the beginning so the viewer knows what they are going to make.
Yes, definitely.
Yes, please!

People are busy, and there are many videos vying for people's attention. Put the picture at the beginning, then show us how it's done.
And talk us through it. She just starts poking that needle all over the place and I can't tell how far up I'm supposed to do things.
Creative. Very nice
