A few years back I asked one of mounted guards if I could take a photo of him and his horse, He gave me a charming smile positioned the horse's head and I got a lovely photo. I said thank you and got another smile I am in my 70's and itg was lovely to get that smile from a young man!

Having stood hundreds of military posts over 22 years of service - you don’t take time (from one human to another) to explain why she has to move. The old man was out of line and disrespectful. If it was Deadly Force post there is no explanation. There is never an explanation to ignorance in standing a military post. They are not there for the tourists photo op.
