The second last Guard, the female is my favourite. She has a good shout. Also when one of the Guards pushed his horse forward the parents should have moved back their children.
People (tourists) don't understand that these guards are real soldiers. They are not play acting, they can and will mow you down if you don't move. Love your channel. Hello from Canada.
I am from Germany and I visited London/ England two times so far. I really enjoyed my holidays there. BUT, no matter where you take your holiday, you respect their rules and laws and culture. It is as simple as that! Sadly these guards have to be very patient and experience quite often such a manner. Respect and just the best for my brothers and sisters in England.
As Abraham Lincoln said, "teach the children so it will not be necessary to teach the adults." Simple as that. Everyone knows the boundaries of disrespect etc.......🤬
Absolute respect to the Kings Guard, men, and women for their very trying job. Also the men and women in the police force. They do an amazing job of maintaining order and keeping everyone safe.
Noting how the man in the blue poloshirt and sunglasses thought it was funny when challenged by the guard for grasping the reins, suddenly stopped smiling when approached by the military police. Good!
I love when the household Calvary mounted regiment say "do not touch the reins"or "get your hands off the reins"or"off the reins”or say "off the reins” repeatedly
Soldiers and their horses are one warrior unity...one soldier... wonderful authority shouts... sadly, having to express such communication to ignorance
I did chuckle when the precious little twats ran like little girls when the guard moved the horse straight at them. I served for 21 years in The Australian Army, and while never in a "ceremonial" unit, did many parades and things like catafalque parties for ANZAC day remembrance (in military terms, our most sacred day). Not once in that entire time did I ever experience anything but respect, and appreciation from the public. I guess I was lucky.
finally a video that shows the horse guards getting to "settle" things! Love it - so many entitled people out there need a good humbling. I still want a T-shirt that says "Ormond is my hero" Well done .

@@Lizzie-h3j Most patriotic Americans do appreciate the military. In America culture, its customary to thank soliders. The tourist here does represent some of our American culture and customs well. @@patterdale4332 I agree, expressing our deep appreciation for the military is a uniquely American thing. I'm sure the Brits appreciate their solider as well, but they may not feel the need to always thank them. In America, when you see soldiers on the sidewalk, in a restaurant, or at an airport many people will approach them to thank them for their service. Most of us were taught to always thank a solider when you see them.
What always amazes me is how rarely you hear a ‘Thank you’..or acknowledgement to the them for allowing the horses to be petted or the allowing the photos taken. Not expecting a response…just a simple ‘thank you.’.

No, they don't fight on horseback. They're not "war horses", since that doesn't exist anymore.
No, they don't protect the palace with sabers.
They're protecting it with modern rifles.
The blokes in the funny hats on the horses are there as decoration and tourist attractions. And people acting like that's oh-so important are just pathetic in every way.
The tourists appropriately interact with the tourist attraction. You can put a 4 star general in a clown outfit and people will treat him like a clown. That's how that works.
@@MrCmon113 I never suggested they take horses to war. Just pointed out that when those blokes "in funny hats" aren't on ceremonial duties they're assigned to their Ajax IFV equipped squadrons. They rotate the ceremonial duties.
Simple plaque saying "this is not a petting zoo, piss off" would be enough i recon.
Maybe not because people can't read the basic signs anyway!?!!! 😂
Ummm, probably not. There are signs that clearly state _"Don't Touch The Reins,"_ and yet, here we are.
There's even a big sign stating that the horses may kick or bite beside, yet people even let their KIDS touch a MILITARY horse like a house pet 😭
You’re allowed to pat the horse. Just not touch the reins
@@graceposada296 Tbf the horses are good with the kids. It's the entitled adults that usually get a bite of consequences.
When an armoured mounted guy with a sword tells you to move off you better do, no matter what.
When I was a boy in the 1960s I am sure I was told by my Dad that “Interfering with the Sovereign’s Life Guard was a criminal offence” - boys of my generation wouldn’t have dared to have tugged on the reins!! Are these tourists crazy?
Yup, there's no logic other explanation. Sad, but true.
Yes, they are crazy. Clueless and rude, at any rate.
I was there around 2010 and things weren't so bad either. Was a school trip and the teachers literally said "Get out of their way or they'll run you over.". Nobody needed to point out that while tourists gather that this isn't some entertainment tourist attraction but here we are.
We are in a kind of "every a..hole can touch everything without getting trouble" - generation..Its really like that and it's just embarrassing
3:37 first time I've ever heard someone thank a Blues & Royals or a Life Guard for their service, that was very nice
The second last Guard, the female is my favourite. She has a good shout. Also when one of the Guards pushed his horse forward the parents should have moved back their children.
Love her and great command of her horse
And she scares me and I’m at home - in a chair - in Texas!
😂😂😅
A good shriek you me…..😂😂
People (tourists) don't understand that these guards are real soldiers. They are not play acting, they can and will mow you down if you don't move. Love your channel. Hello from Canada.
I think no one should be near the gate, let alone to be able to walk around the grounds. The sighn clearly says the horses could bite or kick 🤔
Oh buska… I so wish you could shout at them
“Oi you, yes you,… kn*b, don’t touch the bleedin’ reins”…. Just once…please ?!
Love it😂x
As Abraham Lincoln said, "teach the children so it will not be necessary to teach the adults." Simple as that. Everyone knows the boundaries of disrespect etc.......🤬
😮 such disrespect to the Guard & their horse.😢
Absolute respect to the Kings Guard, men, and women for their very trying job. Also the men and women in the police force. They do an amazing job of maintaining order and keeping everyone safe.
Noting how the man in the blue poloshirt and sunglasses thought it was funny when challenged by the guard for grasping the reins, suddenly stopped smiling when approached by the military police. Good!
And I think he wet his pants 😮
Those aren't MP's, they are metropolitan police or in other words civilian police.
@@dingo5208I think they are MOD
And sadly, his son continued to smile big..
I love when the household Calvary mounted regiment say "do not touch the reins"or "get your hands off the reins"or"off the reins”or say "off the reins” repeatedly
That cop was next to useless. The man deliberately held onto the bit, which made it very uncomfortable for the horse's mouth.
That last horse is massive
All the horses are so beautiful!
Soldiers and their horses are one warrior unity...one soldier... wonderful authority shouts... sadly, having to express such communication to ignorance
Anybody who holds on to a horse, or cause a horse distress should be arrested.
This is not a joke to a, Soldier on horseback. It is dangerous.
The dumb expression they assume, every time they’re told to stand back or similar is something unbelieveable and unacceptable! Stay home!🤨
finally a video that shows the horse guards getting to "settle" things! Love it - so many entitled people out there need a good humbling. I still want a T-shirt that says "Ormond is my hero" Well done .
@@Titi-pourris effectivement
The arrogance of these people is astounding
It was lovely to hear (after the 4:00 kerfuffle) an American voice say "Thank you for your service!". I'm always expecting the American tourists to be the worst because of all the complaining that i hear from Europeans. We might be obnoxious, but we typically respect those who serve their country. Shalom!
Love seeing these videos where they are not taking any crap
3:35... the American who yelled "thank you for your service" represents us well...❤
Not from my experience of working in hospitality and American tourists 😂😂 the only decent easy goong one we had was a group of kids travelling round Scotland and they were so lo Ely they got free coffees and bacon rolls Al round.
Your wrong I did 32yrs in the British army and most of the British forces don't like it being said to them it's an American thing
@@Lizzie-h3j Most patriotic Americans do appreciate the military. In America culture, its customary to thank soliders. The tourist here does represent some of our American culture and customs well.
American tourists may behave badly in general, but they will still take the time to thank a solider before getting drunk and embarrassing themselves at a London restaurant lol...
“Thank you for your service …to the evil king and not the ppl”
This is getting ridiculous now.
People have no respect for the King's guard.
Tourists should be behind barriers.
Buska, that’s a great compilation mate 👍🏻
I love it!!! ❤❤❤ If these "tourist" took their professions seriously, then they'd understand!
The level of disrespect and self entitlement of some humans makes me dispair 🤦♂
Do they realize those policemen have automatic rifles in their hands. Would people go up to a police dog and pester it the way they pester the horses.
What always amazes me is how rarely you hear a ‘Thank you’..or acknowledgement to the them for allowing the horses to be petted or the allowing the photos taken. Not expecting a response…just a simple ‘thank you.’.
Guards shouldn,t have to shout tourists need to respect
Brilliant reactions from the horseguards. Some stupid people still laughing away after being told off!
Hay gente que simplemente no tiene educación.
Monty looks like he has some Clydesdale breeding. 17:3 hands means 71 inches to the top of the withers. What a magnificent horse!
Perhaps it’s time for new signs? ‘Danger. These horses may kick or bite and while we don’t care if you get hurt, we don’t want to risk you hurting the horses.’ I don’t suppose anybody would read it though.
Maybe have it read, horses may kick or bite, and we'll let them!
If you touch the horse you will be arrested. That should stop them. And a $500 fine!!
Everybody thinks it’s a petting zoo.
I have great respect for the guard who works every day having to deal with hordes of tourists again, one even crazier than the other
Police man : Excuse me, sir, that was very naughty!
Arsehole : Yeah, yeah, so what, go away, don't bother me!
Police man : Um, sorry. 😂😂😂
The Cops in the UK seem so meek.....why is that ?
😂😂😂😂nice one cheeky buggars they where shamed on camera nice one cameraman ❤️😂
some people man... best part, children usually behave better then so many adults.
Honestly that is a super hard job for a horse, they aren't allowed to behave according to their nature.
Ich liebe den weiblichen Guard, die ist rigoros und versteht keinen Spass, bravo,Soldat!👍👍👍
And never ceases to amaze me the stupidity of people and the disregard for these animals.
Unbelievable, these people are so ignorant and disrespectful
Something needs to be done to stop the Tourists disrespecting the Guards and Horses
I love horses, they are beautiful creatures but a horse is one animal you don't really want to mess with.
Same, beautiful animals.
I'm no guard, but would certainly flip if anyone just touches or grabs the reigns of my horse 😳
Those horses are breathtakingly beautiful… it’s sad seeing them stuck standing all day with crowds of idiots around. Feel sorry for them.
I understand your point by these horses are trained for this position. It’s their job. 😊
@@shellyamy4878 I get that… but still hate seeing it. People are horrible… they think upsetting an animal is ok & fun. Makes me sick. (As a reference, I also cry in zoos … they should be free.)
Leave the horse alone.
Why the hell do people think it is OK to grab hold of any part of the horses reins etc? I just don't understand it?!?!?!
The man who grabbed the reigns, look at the offspring he produced.
Looks even dopier then his Father.
Kid learned more than he did
The entitlement of some people is incredible.
The sheer ignorance, disrespect and self centeredness on people is disgusting.
The smiling after what they have done, really annoys. But the smile that falters after, is bliss.
They are real soldiers doing a real job.
