@@killerdiva7771 planetary EMP. people often under estimate Magneto's power level because he calls himself the "Master of Magnetism" when in reality he has control of Electromagnetism which encompasses a far broader spectrum things he can manipulate. They are just lucky he didnt decide to turn the magnetic poles upside down, which he has done in a comic.
@@killerdiva7771 he didn't just shut off the Sentinels he EMP the entire planet and either shut down or fried all devices that run on electricity. This is incredibly bad for a multitude of reasons for everyone on earth.
Dont forget the Doom and Zemo cameos when Bastion was speaking with his conspirators. I cant help the feeling that Magneto escaping was part of Bastions plan. With magneto shutingdown electricity and declaring war this plays right into Bastions hands

Just finished the episode and holy crap!! We’re in the end game now for sure.
So many great lines in this episode but the one that lives rent free in my mind is when Bastion says "I was born this was." The actors delivery of that line is so good. So casual yet menacing. Ugh! So freaking good!

This has been the episode that made me go all the way to the end. Having left me in a river of great madness. Just seeing magneto becoming his best version of the mutant omega. The presence of the summers and the xmen against Bastion and the sentinelsprime. And he certainly carries it off with a better flourish. The return of our dear friend Spiderman. That I've waited so long!!!😍😍
Revive all the Marvel animated shows from the 90s including the Pryde Of The X-Men and Solarman animated pilots and also the unproduced Captain America, Daredevil and Black Widow animated series from the 90s in recreated animation style that has the same animation style as X-Men '97.

I think he’s referring to the fact that Spidey looks a bit slimmer here compared to how he is in the 90s show, he has a much bulkier body and his face is usually much more visible while here, It’s more like his Comic Book appearance having his face flat but still has that visible structure.
Suit remains the same though.

I'm with Magnus on this one. No one, and I mean no one has shown more restraint than Magnus, and they still kept messing with him. I still think Disney Plus should also do Spider-Man animated series from 1996 too because in the final episode Peter Parker/ Spider Man with Madame Web went on the search to find the real Mary Jane after that the series end with the cliffhanger, so I think Spider-Man animated series 1994 should be revived just like X-Men 97 so that the story continued on were the final episode of Spider-man animated Season 5 left off.
Save that for Spider verse 3.

Otherwise, Magneto could overpower Xavier's telepathy the same way he can avoid being harmed by Rogue's powers, using his control of magnetism to affect his own electro-magnetic field.

The most terrible thing is that both in Genosha and after Magneto’s attack, innocent ordinary mutants and people died. Magneto may be right, but when everything goes to war, it is always the most ordinary citizens who come under attack. They are used as victims by such persons as Cooper, Bastion, Magneto, the Professor. Magneto remains a terrorist to me.

I loved this scene but one thing that bugs me. Nuclear plants, all its important stuff is protected within a farraday cage making any electro magnetic interference a non issue. The plant itself may have power but transformers and sub stations are fucked.
Also, control rods would drop to the core’s bottom thus scramming out the reactor. That’s a good thing

Most cars would still work so most generators would still work so lights and any machinery without circuit boards would be fine.
