I still think Disney Plus should also do Spider-Man animated series from 1996 too because in the final episode Peter Parker/ Spider Man with Madame Web went on the search to find the real Mary Jane after that the series end with the cliffhanger, so I think Spider-Man animated series 1994 should be revived just like X-Men 97 so that the story continued on were the final episode of Spider-man animated Season 5 left off.

I don’t think we know how X-men and Spider-Man matched up in their arcs, it could be possible ‘97 is taking place before the events of the last Spider-Man season.

Besides, Sony gave away the Spider-Man rights for TV back to Marvel a while ago. Marvel could easily make a continuation to Spider-Man TAS and Sony wouldn't be able to say a thing since they don't own that specific version of the character nor the distribution rights to that show; the only animated one they own is Spectacular. Same applies for Spider-Man Unlimited, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, MTV's Spider-Man and the 1960s version.

No, there are no Avengers in this continuity
It's kinda iffy, because while there was a 90s Avengers cartoon, it was never stated to be part of the same universe as Spider-Man, X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man and Hulk. The closest thing to an actual Avengers team was Iron Man's team which included Spider-Woman, Hawkeye, War Machine and the Scarlet Witch.
But i wouldn't be surprised if we finally meet the Marvel Animated universe version of the Avengers in this show.
