Leach. The boys name was Leach. Magneto triad to save him & the Morlocks. While trying to hold the monsters back Leach clung to him & he told him it would be alright.... But that child & others became casualties
Too be honest, I don't blame Magneto. He surrender himself to the United Nation to give himself a chance to follow Charles path. Then the extinction of Genosha reminded him of why he has to makes the most radical decisions for Mutant kind. He's done playing politics and is now acting.
Yes he's done playing nice Charles is wrong Magneto is right where you there were Gambit died were was Charles when your own people needed you hiding in space Xavier he's no room to talk.
@@brandonwilliams5526You do realize that Magneto is giving the humans any reason and excuse they need to hate mutants right? As long as humans like Senator Kelly or mutants like Magneto exist, the conflict will always be an endless circle.
Was thinking the exact same thing. He was there he was fighting to save it. And he had a lot more of a connection that rogue to that place he was the religious representative of the council or whatever
When Rogue is wearing her green (not green and yellow.) uniform 🥋 you know she’s going to side with her old boss/ex Magneto. It’s one of her old Brotherhood uniforms.
Lol he'll be alright. If I remember his healing factor stopped him from dying in the comics, but damn it must've hurt and i'm really surprised how fast they're going through the arcs from the comics
Well, Wolverine is kind of an idiot when you think about it.He attacked a man with magnetism powers and keep saying that Magneto started the war when it was clearly part of the UN and bastion and mister Sinister.
The thing that sucks is that Magneto is justified for his anger so its hard to just say "He's evil.". He genuinely tried to do it Xavier's way and they were sort of getting close to doing it before it was destroyed. Only problem is he's got all humans in his crosshairs not just the ones who sent the attack.
Honestly, I'm surprised Magneto didn't decide to take out the world leaders revolutionary France style on TV. He's VERY capable of that and would consider it to get his point across.
It's not just a matter of who sent the attack. Society shows complete indifference towards the plight of the mutants. Nations denied entry to Genosha refugees, the "tolerance" towards mutants turned out to be skin-deep as soon as any kind of tension started surfacing again. Suddenly the pro-mutant sentiment started dying down. Not to mention what we know from Cable's future, it's not like one bad apple caused everything, there was apathy at best and complicity at worst by the people. It's like Magneto said back at his judgement or Cyclops said at that interview. How many times do they need to go through this until they've proved they're good enough to be seen as people? Honestly I can't really see Magneto as anything but justified at this point. Doesn't mean the X-Men aren't also presenting a valid point in wanting to stop him. It's a complicated situation that goes beyond just "good guy vs bad guy", and I honestly don't think one can say for sure if the X-Men stopping him is necessarily the best thing for *mutants* in the long run. We've seen lots of X-Men media where mutant population gets curbed by human-made methods. Even Bastion is ultimately the result of mankind's quest to eliminate mutantkind (though obviously a very unexpected and out of control result).
@@42Caio By turning all humans into sentinels without giving them a choice? Bastion has no right to turn every living beings in to a machines without giving them all a choice. Not a choice that he made.
For someone who reads minds, professor X is the most inconsiderate man ever. If he had did the following: 1. Hear Magneto’s grief and just listen. Magneto upheld a dream he did not share and was betrayed. Obviously Professor X was right for critizing his approach but he was not there for his friend. 2. Have a plan instead of reacting to events. Had Professor X approached with a plan to get Justice on the people who wronged the mutants, agreed with Magentos approach in a scantuary, and from there empathized with his goals, Magento would have listened.
@@purpledragons1146 I believe we don’t not understand each other. I am referring to simple dialogue. With Professor X he just reacted and tried to preach a good fight but he did not take into consideration he failed his friend and set him up to fail. It has nothing to do with a helmet, just merely good communication skills.
@@zakariyyamccullin1005i dont believe prof x would set his friend to fail per se, magneto tried to live up to the dream and it worked for a while until it didn't. the two of them are literally two faces of the same coin; one believes in true co-existence and the other believes in a mutant only world.
@daeity1 His intentions were good but unfortunately his intentions were ill placed. He was better leaving Cyclops the X-men. Magento did not share his beliefs and him doing that set him up for failure. It’s a case of good idea poor execution.
The events that happened in the series, Cyclops would have been a worse leader and worse things would have happened. It's not that Magneto didn't do things properly, but the fact that these assholes would have still done the same things if not worse. There are different continuities. In some of them both are right, in some of them, Charles is right. But in this continuity, Magneto is right. Humans are the worst here.
Magneto and Rogue: "We don't want anymore mutants to die." Also Magneto: * kills thousands of mutants along with humans by messing with the magnetic field of earth. *
Yeah people seem to forget the at it’s stuff like this that will guarantee humans will fear and hate mutants. Like ultimatum is the perfect example of this where magneto used his powers to kill millions across the globe and all it did was make more humans despise mutants rather than make them respect mutant kind
Wasn't part of why he shut off power to stop the Prime Sentinals? You know the HUMAN Weapons meant to enslave or genocide mutants? Funny how people seem to gloss over that. Or the fact that most of the time the humans are the aggressors even when he tries doing things peacefully. And before you say "Well he is punishing the innocent humans along with the few bad apples" aren't the humans doing the exact same thing only worse? He is retaliating but only because the humans in power have proven his fears to be founded in fact over fiction. The humans "fear mutants" over a "What if they are dangerous or do this?"
You can hardly blame Rogue and Sunspot. Rogue was just about to start a new life on Ginosha only to see it get destroyed along with one of her closest friends. Roberto was literally abandoned by his mother at the most crucial moment when he needed her. She closed the door on him as he was taken away, leaving him to whatever fate the prime sentinels had for him. There's a limit to how tolerant you can be, and I say they reach beyond the limit.
@josephbridges4914 It gets worse when you realize that those who chose to become prime sentinels basically became what they wanted to destroy. Mutants are a natural evolution of humanity, yet they choose to go through a forced process of evolution to become what Bastion is.
I get Sunspot's point of view completely, but Gambit died saving Rogue, and as many as he could save, is this really the way to honor his sacrifice, and is this really what Remy wanted for her.
@dreamwalker2865 To rogue, this isn't about honoring Gambit and the other mutants that died. This is about fighting to assure that other mutants don't die the way they did. I mean, the way she discarded his jacket is her way of acknowledging that this is something he wouldn't have approved of, so she knows she's not honoring him.
I agree, Rogue and him definitely had justifiable motives That said, I thought Sunspot acted like an annoying simp during the battle when he was trying to apologize to jubilee for hitting her The same jubilee that he completely brushed aside the relationship he built with her throughout the show So yeah, he may have an understandable motive, but he’s still not a very likable character to me
This is what makes Magneto a great villain. His methods are wrong, but his motivation is reasonable. He lost his family and he did not want to go through that pain again. But his anger twisted his mind and he became no better than the man who started WW2. Magneto is not right but his anger justified.
@@goat1408 fr. I mean *Ironman* Cpt Ameria and his shield fr?? They can do heavy lifting but they also have to try deal with the fallout, villains, damage and other collateral from the emp
So by your own logic humanity is justified in killing mutants for magneto’s actions that killed thousands of innocent civilians who had nothing to do with genosha? It’s this logic that leads to the future where humans and mutants alike get killed by the sentinels
@shadewolf0075 how many times have the X-Men shown that there are good and bad mutants and the UN and other people still go. 'Naw they are all evil. Let's genocide them!' The X-Men stop other mutants, Stop weapons made to kill them that are out of control and threaten everyone, save the world from world ending threats like Apocalypse, and Thanos. And yet every time humans still go. 'Naw let's not go for peace let's just pretend while we work on mutant genocide number 99.' You can only kick a dog so many times before it bites back. And then you can't claim to be the victim.
@@mahad813 my point being that what people are supporting is mass punishment of an entire species for the actions of a few. Never mind the fact that if the show was even the slightest bit realistic about society that almost everyone major city on earth would be facing riots over what happened to Genosha
The problem is that magneto is right but hes too dangerous and must be stopped. he himself turned on apocalypse for punishing the innocent along with the guilty
There's a difference between understandable and right. I understand Magneto, but I don't believe he's right. Even putting aside that 20% of the population - about 1 billion in 1997 - are just kids who are innocent of wrongdoing, Magneto is at that moment hurting humans AND mutants. I think Magneto might think he's doing this for the mutants, but I think he's doing this largely for himself.
Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross. Repent and believe in him or you will be separated from God The Father for all eternity and face hell forever, for all eternity, never ending.
magneto has been proven right in every single future story. mutantkind is always decimated and humanity is to blame. xavier is the "good" stance to take but it's also an idealistic and naive stance@@Ares99999
Magneto is right and should NOT be stopped. Everything is justified, humans only knows hatred, bypass the mistreatment of mutants instead of defending mutants. All humans non-related to mutants have hatred in their heart, especially the mutants that look different. Magento been right but the plot armor will make him lose.
"Are you prepared to WALK mine?" "..by walking THIS MAN'S path" The former to Charles' face, the latter within his earshot.. KNOWING FULL WELL that Charles is in a wheelchair.. Those two felt personal, Mags, and I don't blame him
Jesus, the fact that Xavier can't come up with a counter to Magneto's "Will Humanity undo Genosha?" Was an OOF Him mentioning Leech's death in gruesome details hurts even more😢
Nobody can out debate Magneto, he's owned everybody in every episode so far of the series. Whether it's the United Nations, Cyclops, or even Charles Xavier himself, Magneto has verbally owned and humbled them all.
@@fmthebaronyeah in this circumstance that’s a strawman argument founded on pain. Of course humanity can’t replace the lives lost. That’s like asking if the Germans can undo the holocaust. But use that argument to justify attacking Germany after the holocaust happened is lunacy.
@@fmthebaronhe’s also equating all of humanity to like 5 people responsible for Genosha. Apparently Remy’s human friends are responsible for his death.
Not to mention Charles doesn't have a leg to stand on, metaphorically speaking. HE tried to abandon Earth and couldn't even commit to THAT so now he has nothing, not even good faith.
There’s still one episode left and my mind blown away while watching this episode. Still can’t even think reasonable theory ways on how they wanted to stop the war with the mutants fighting with each other as well as against Bastion. So many things messed up in this episode😵💫. Hopefully wouldn’t getting any cliffhanger in the last episode. For Rogue, literally Rogue just turn her back against her own family to join and get back with Magneto (Stand by her choice to lead the new genosha and marry Magneto🤢). Not a fan with this scene and with all of Magneto and Rogue stuffs. Just please bring back Gambit as Death and smack the hell outta this two😤. Gambit deserved someone better.
@@Raphaelnaim_08 I doubt she'll marry him or anything. If anything she's still falling from Gambit's death. Like how she attacked the base and ditched the funeral all for revenge. Now she's getting revenge and assurance something like that can't happen again.
Rogue has no right to say what she did. Not when Kurt did so much to try and protect her. And was nearly killed for it. "None of you were there the day Genosha fell." Notice she didn't mention Kurt in her little speech at all. Does she even care about him anymore? The poor fuzeball deserves so much better.
Rogue: None of you were there the day Genosha fell. Nightcrawler: *Scratches his cheek with his middle finger while holding out his other middle finger*
Sure if we look at it from your perception another way of looking at it. he clearly is. the guy wanted mankind to be cleansed from the face of the earth an only wanted mutants to live and or survive that's just like saying Genghis Khan was never evil just plain angry an that is why he took over most of the continent of Asia and parts of eastern Europe think before you type something stupid like that again.
@yuanpucasn4955 dotn know much about red skull past but im sure he wasnt an holocaust victim or saw people women and children he tried to protect dying in front of him ... becuase if germany was made victim of their hown holocaust in marvel comics i wouldve read about it somewhere by now
He's naive. It's the problem that this show is framing beautifully. Magneto IS right. Always has been. At least, about the danger from humanity. Charles is right, that "mass extermination is not a solution". But humanity will never, ever accept mutantkind unless *forced* to. You need a Charles Xavier, to guide things toward a path that means the least harm for everyone. And you need a Magneto, as a nuclear deterrent.
@@Pyre Charles Xavier can show humankind that they are not a threat but humans fear Mutant's abilities. I would fear mutants if they turn out to be evil villains.
SOME humans are. Just as Magento is now. Neither side of that is right. The only way forward that works is finding a way to make peace. How Charles goes about it, some of his speeches, are a bit naive. But ultimately only his way can work. Genocide on either side is not an option.
@@CarlosSuperCuteIf mutants aren't considered a potential threat, then they won't be respected. They'd be exploited, abused, or treated with indifference like those on the spectrum have. Charles' dream is simply that, a DREAM. And while Magneto's actions throughout the show are very much an extreme, they are the only actions between him and Charles that have earned results, however fleeting those results were. This is why Cyclops has to be the one to lead, he's the only one perceptive enough to NOT resort to the extremes that the two aforementioned are so often guilty of.
It always boils down to truth and ideals. Xavier and Magneto were exposed to the other's path this season. And now look at how BROKEN Magneto is now that hes lost hope.
he lost hope way too many times. He was almost reasonable, but a robot-hybrid controlling minds of humans proved him wrong? come on, Magneto didn't even try to think. He sought comfortable excuse.
Magneto speaks the painful yet logical truth about the seemingly volatile and somewhat fruitless reality of Charles' dream of co-existence between mutants and humans. Magneto has already warned all the echelons of the UN council that its leaders are untrustworthy, conniving and deceitful in their decisions. He tried very hard to not let them down and to realise Xavier's initial peaceful plan yet when the Genosha holocaust occurred, they instead turn their backs on him and his companions. As a result, he will no longer give them any chances since they have squandered all of them. However, despite all of this, even Magneto's long-term vision is unacceptable and irrational either. Ruling over a created paradise with him as the undisputed overlord is also not applicable as well. At the end of the day, Magneto's ideas, albeit, noble were in fact also violent in all its practice.
Rogue leaving Gambit's jacket behind when she is going over makes sense. She knows he wouldn't want this but is broken by everything especially losing him to want to be on that side again.
@@KingOfMadCows magneto would not be able to save all the mutants. the planet was already starting to die. what about the mutants who wouldn’t want to leave their human loved ones??? magneto isn’t going to let them bring humans into his Astro M. the x-men would be left behind because they would never join him. there would be mutants that will die because of him.
If Megneto wants to blame someone over the genocide on Genosha, he should point the finger at Bastion, because he was the one who started these killings on that Island, plus I get that he needs to be angry, but putting the entire Human Race on his list of guilt, while ignoring the fact that we Humans also turn on each other for various reasons, is not justified and he needs to be stopped.
Don't forget that the United Nations behind closed doors funded operation zero tolerance under Bastion. Valerie Cooper was in collusion with them. Don't forget they were scheming behind closed doors right after Xavier's faux death. The whole thing was an inside job right from the get-go they never really wanted to know they never really wanted Genosha to coexist with them as a nation. There were literally like lambs for slaughter at the mercy of lions tigers and bears (oh my lol). I used to be sympathetic towards Rogue but not anymore.... She's no better than her mother mystique, she's worse! She wants to throw stones at someone when she's a walking fragile piece of glass herself. Roberto is reacting out of fear and anger, I guess deep down that he resented jubilee for coming out to his mom only to abandon him do the robots that were well known to kill mutants just to protect her image and wealth. That betrayal hurts like hell.
Bastion had humans volunteering to be Prime Sentinels and was supported by at least two world leaders (Valerie Cooper and Dr. Doom). Also humans like Captain America didn't do anything to help.
It's most likely due to unlike Sunspot and Rouge Cyclops wasn't treated badly due to his Mutant powers especially Rouge with unlike Cyclops Rouge's parents basically disowned and abandoned her same with Sunspot's mom the episode before this. That and he and Magneto rarely see eye to eye compared to Cyclops and Professor X who usually see eye to eye but not too often do they not
You're confusing the true Cyclops with a modernized butchered version of Cyclops whose characteristics were rewritten by writers who hated him. The true Cyclops will always believe in Xavier's dreams.
You know, in a way, in the original series finale, by choosing to save Xavier instead of leading a mutant war, Magneto chose Xavier's life over Leeches and Gambits; that's why he's so angry.
Magneto is truly a unique villain; what he does makes him no better than the evil he wants to destroy but his reasoning for doing what he does is justifiable to an extent!
There comes a point where turning the other cheek starts looking like rolling over and playing dead. Even if it’s the “right thing”, most people don’t have the stomach for going through that kind of pain again and again.
Magneto been through so much pain. He survive ww2 and lost his parents. Being hated because he's a mutant and still being hated for trying to be a hero. How can he not be angry.
She chosed a side not a boyfriend, don't assumed too much yet, if my belief and tactics ended with the death of the love of my life, I would chose violence too. What does a decade of peace with the Xmen had done? Genocide of their people
Ikr. What happened to "something is deeper than skin" in Episode 5 when she said that to Mags? I told people Gambit deserve better but they call me sexist and misogynist for hating her guts.
That’s why I always liked magneto because he always makes sense but he goes about it the wrong way its so good and it makes sense for sunspot and rogue to join after everything that’s happened
The magneto projector toy I had when I was a kid is just all the more special these days. I was 11 when this series stopped in 97. I had that toy from target somewhere around that time. You put little discs in it and pushed a button on magnetos back and you’d get whatever part of whatever comic he was in projected on the wall (just turn the lights off).
You realize he didn’t give a single care about the prime sentinels right? He was just murdering civilians for “revenge” against humanity. He never gave a damn if humanity went extinct

Magneto demands for justice, while Xavier demands for the status quo. Bastian literally states that he comes from a time when Charle's Xavier's dream comes true but Mutants live under the boot of supercybernetic humans, likely morphed into prime sentinels. If Magneto did not unleash a worldwide EMP, the X-Men were all going to die and than where would that have taken Xavier's point of view? Bishop and Cable's consistent time traveling, show that Xavier's dream is fragile because it constantly needs to be safeguarded by people literally having to change the timeline. Mutantkind cannot hang on the balance anymore as shown by the fact that Cable is unable to jump into the past passed Genosha anymore. There are no more chances. There has to be a radical solution. Magneto has tried every option: from leaving the Earth, to creating a separate nation, to even trying to create a separate dimension. An EMP has leveled the playing ground and I think unleashing an asteroid onto humanity wasn't actively sought for by Magneto. In every timeline where humanity sought to destroy mutants, they either destroyed themselves or ceased to be humans. Sentinels and Super Cybernetics are the only threats to mutants. Magneto deduced correctly on a solution and saved the XMen. What did Xavier do? Nothing. Magneto has tried to be better and has tried compromise. Xavier keeps pushing Magneto away and can't make hard decisions for himself. He damned a chance to change the Shi'ar for the better and to propel both humans and mutants into a starfarring civilization by making the hard decision to forget the X-Men. The Shi'ar already have mutant-like royal guards. Together they could've been an unstoppable force for the universe. The tragedy of Magneto and Xavier is that Magneto is right. Magneto is a leader and Xavier is an idealist. They compliment each other and need to come together. Psychic and Magnetic powers would subdue any and all human threats whether it be from their hearts or their creations. Magneto is not a villain or an antagonist, but the protagonist.
While yes he saved the XMen countless others died as well as resources that could’ve been used being put out of commission since you have to take mine. He disabled technology period so hospitals, planes, helicopters, and other such just gone

POWERFUL! Kinda wish more of the team had gone with Magneto. Charles failed not only the X-Men, he failed mutantkind. And honestly, screw the Avengers and non mutant “heroes.” They stand by as mutants are decimated simply for existing & pretend that they’re good guys. His methods may be problematic, but Magneto’s got the right of it.
« I promised a boy a future free of fear, only to watch his frightened eyes be vaporized inside his tiny skull because he believed in me. » Damn. Trauma is sometimes too much to overcome and this is a prime example.
This Rogue hate is really bizarre, she has just lost the person she loved. Charles barely gave her two lines of explanation for abandoning them all to go play concubine. Is anyone surprised she joined the one guy who was there. Who fought with her? Who maybe understands what she is going through?
Unfortunately Xmen has a lot of male fans who really hate Rogue. They do not like a strong female lead and some compared her to the Captain Marvel movies. It's by far this misogyny that's behind this. And they are using any excuse to demand she be replaced
@romy_edits Its cause she's lofty from what I'm seeing. From her alliances to her love life. Gambit died a REJECTED man but you'd swear they were dating with how she talks, and prior Rouge was a villain before the Xmen, and now she sides with Magneto, the guy she rejected Gambit for initially. She doesn't stand for anything, she flip flops. All that talk about hating strong women is bullcrap. Storm is Omega level and got people out here simping.
Yeah I don't blame them, they tried so hard to play the good path, Charles is a good man and I respect him without fault, but sometimes enough is enough.
In my opinion, since Sinister is envolved with that plot, I think that everything is part of Apocalypse strategy to conquest the world. This time he wants to split everyone to conquer them.
I'm surprised many agree with Magneto. While I agree that his viewpoint is understandable and sympathetic, he's still essentially doing the same thing to that humans have done to them even though Mr. Sinister and Bastion caused Genosha's fall. On the other hand we have Xavier, who is technically right but too idealistic and doesn't face reality in his pursuit for his dream. This is why we have Cyclops, a man who truly does believe in Xavier's dream but like Magneto goes on the front lines and has to deal with the hatred of mutants. Hopefully we can see Scoot grow into the balance between Xavier and Magneto.

She'll probably be getting a redemption arc in season 2. At the moment I think She'll actually leave the Xmen. Jubilee will likely hate her by the end of season 1 and with Jubilee being like Remy's little sister I don't think Rogue will be able to deal with Jubilee's anger and frustration toward her on top of her own regret, grief, and guilt. Given all her mistakes this season its likely she will be on her own for a bit next season.

In the last episode, when they showed the transmission of Charles Xavier being alive on TV, none of the X-Men watching it gave a look of surprise. This was surprising considering they didn't know he was alive.
Last episode of X-Men TAS in the 90's, Magneto saved Xavier's life by sending that message to Lilandra in which she arrived instantly and saved him in front of all the X-Men so they all knew Lilandra had kept him alive. "...asked me to walk your path. Are you prepared to walk mine?" And just like that, he ripped the moral high ground away from Charles. He tried to make peace in spite of himself. Charles won't even consider Magneto's path.

The heart wants to believe in Xavier's dream but the mind, history and reality say that Magneto is right. The truth is that humanity never learns from its mistakes and is never kind to those who are different or think differently. It's true that Bastion is the villain who manipulated everyone but the truth is that he just knows how human nature works. Rogue was 💯 right to counter Storm’s “do not turn your back on family” line by pointing out how Storm literally was gone from the team during many of the crisis’ the team has faced throughout this show. Ororo could have done so much for the team despite not having her powers at the time like provide emotional support and level headed guidance to her so called “family” So yeah, Rogue was right to call out Storm’s hypocrisy
Storm had a right to do what was right for herself after losing her powers. They were so intrinsic to her identity and she lost them. Storm had no way of knowing what events would happen in her absence. It's like saying that someone taking a trip after suffering a loss of a limb is selfish. Also to talk about hypocrisy. Rogue is complaining about no one else being there for Genosha (even though Nightcrawler was) and saying it was horrible. Think about what her ex-lover Magneto is causing in that moment. Hundreds of thousands of deaths! And she, Magneto, and Roberto are leaving all but themselves to die? It's hypocritical to an absurd degree.
@@Nightman221k Those hundreds of deaths are generally human, a species who have given Rogue , Magneto and Sunspot no real reason to care about the well being of at this point. And regardless of Storm’s motive, she still abandoned her so called family all cause she lost her pretty little powers, powers were not even that much helpful in the fight against the sentinels in this episode anyways XD.
Exactly Storm abandoned this family just because she was powerless and while she was settling in the desert with her boyfriend things got chaotic and more chaotic for the Xmen. She missed the fact that Jean got replaced by a clone who knows how long and she too give up and sent her baby son into the future and than Genosha blow up and her friend Gambit died.

@user-ol9ck7ig2f She did spill facts about Storm, like "do not turn you're back on family" says the mutant who left her own family to get her thunder back, even though she didn't have her powers she could have help the X-Men prevent alot of chaos, plus while she was setting in desert with Forge, she missed the fact that Jean got Cloned and was forced to send her baby to future with Bishop, and Genosha got destroyed along with Gambit and so many countless friends.

@@rumbazumba3189 Yes, he's basically the answer to the question. When you let your emotions control you over your common sense
Anger is self destructive.
Honestly, I'm surprised Magneto didn't decide to take out the world leaders revolutionary France style on TV. He's VERY capable of that and would consider it to get his point across.
Consider this, though: didn't the EMP affect humans and mutants equally?
He stopped the sentinels, rather than targeted humans, right?
If he had did the following:

Magneto and Rogue: "We don't want anymore mutants to die."
Also Magneto: * kills thousands of mutants along with humans by messing with the magnetic field of earth. *
Yeah it can happen coz hospitals or cars or planes will shut down.
Yeah people seem to forget the at it’s stuff like this that will guarantee humans will fear and hate mutants. Like ultimatum is the perfect example of this where magneto used his powers to kill millions across the globe and all it did was make more humans despise mutants rather than make them respect mutant kind
Plus, Magneto almost killed Logan, one of her closest friends.
@coreywigent7693 This scene reminds me of Tory rejoining cobra Kai.
Exactly all any mutants wants is a true home and to be left alone and all humanity does is provoke them for no reason other than being born different
I agree, Rogue and him definitely had justifiable motives
That said, I thought Sunspot acted like an annoying simp during the battle when he was trying to apologize to jubilee for hitting her
The same jubilee that he completely brushed aside the relationship he built with her throughout the show
So yeah, he may have an understandable motive, but he’s still not a very likable character to me

Rogue has gone rogue. Literally.
I have feeling that this is temporary for the following reasons
• Rogue is still grieving over Gambit's sacrifice.
• Sunspot can't be taken as a villain. (Further evident by him apologizing to Jubilee after hitting her with his powers)
• What Magneto did to Wolverine, it's way too obvious that their legions with him is temporary.
• Regardless of the situation, the X-Men helped Rogue through her past because the X-Men are her family.

@@jasonrichter6920that’s not her bad guy outfit. It’s similar though.
Damn.
The Rogue hate is deserved. She earned it
Unfortunately Xmen has a lot of male fans who really hate Rogue.
Not really untreated grief and trauma can make you do unreasonable things like that.

Imagine the power level of Magneto! He is holding up an asteroid and having a casual conversation with the X-men! Omega level.....

@@Kapu7Yup, I think she'll turn babyface again either next week or somewhere in Season 2.
She'll probably be getting a redemption arc in season 2. At the moment I think She'll actually leave the Xmen.
She had to take him back to her Shi'ar to get him back healthy in which she did.

He's right. If humanity wants to act like animals, then let them live like animals.

Humans allowed and funded the creation of Sentinels and world leaders turned a blind eye to Bastion's atrocities because they feared mutants. In the same way, it is not as if a Utopia with only mutants would have peace, after all, Mutants are humans, so there would be prejudice and wars even in a mutant society.
If Rogue resumes her relationship with Magneto after claiming Remy as her man, then wtf is she even doing at this point?
Blind by self guilt and grief
So disappointed in Rogue even after Gambit's sacrifice but I also can't really blame her choice here.
She did start out with a villain group before joining the X-men and this happening now just gives her character some much needed interest.
It’s not even starting off as a villian. She got to briefly witness mutants living happily on Genosha only be be wiped out almost immediately because of humanity’s hatred.

Rogue was 💯 right to counter Storm’s “do not turn your back on family” line by pointing out how Storm literally was gone from the team during many of the crisis’ the team has faced throughout this show.
Ororo could have done so much for the team despite not having her powers at the time like provide emotional support and level headed guidance to her so called “family”
So yeah, Rogue was right to call out Storm’s hypocrisy
