Nolan is 1,000's of years old and one of the smartest viltramites. Think of some smart older person you know and how they can cut you with words. Now multiply that 100x fold. They should show how some Viltamites being 1,000's of years old gives them so much experience. Think of their tactical, strategic, and massive knowledge base in skills that would earn them such an advantage.

Shows how strong mark really is. In the earlier episodes when it shows the viltrimites killing each other, i remember seeing that viltrimite women being one of the survivors.
He never hesitates to go full power when he understands that he is fighting for a greater cause than just revenge, fury venting or the thrill of fighting. Luckily Nolan had the time to explain that he needed to protect a lot of people including his father and brother.

Technically he is into a fight. So he is tired and as we can see, getting beat up. So he is struggling to hold that rock because he just got beat up. And we can say that this specific rock is a different one from a simple asteroid.
IIRC in the comic there's something about Viltrumite cells/atoms/whatever where each of them is encased in a tiny energy field. They get beaten up and that energy field weakens and they weaken with it. It explains why Viltrumite-on-Viltrumite fights start as fistfights and end up with them ripping one another apart, too
An important thing at 1:47 I noticed is Nolan completely abandons the defense of this planet, causing millions to be slaughtered when they resurface, just for his pseudo wife/kid and mark. He does care
what it seems is that with time invincible is gonna be really strong but i just cant help but feel annoyed that his greatest power now is getting his ass beat up
Well the reason as to why this might be the case is because of how mark holds back when he’s fighting people which is why he gets his ass kicked. And is also experiencing tougher opponents that are not from earth. But overtime he’ll get much better and stronger to defeat someone like conquest or thragg.
Sorry, he's not as powerful as Nolan out of the gate. I guess he should be able to 360 no scope all the Viltrumites first thing because who needs a heroes journey

The thing I love about this fight is it shows 2 things: -The viltrumites were getting surprised and beaten from Nolan fighting selflessly. -How ridiculously strong Mark is for his age, because he's fighting an elder Viltrumite woman and they get stronger as they age

Mark thinks his no kill rule puts him above villains, but its a weakness and only makes fights harder and ensures further deaths. This criticism is aimed at most heroes in general. No-kill rules don't make sense.
It makes sense in a case like Batman because one man shouldn't be judge, jury, and executioner. When fighting petty criminals, let the courts decide what should be done with them. They can even be rehabilitated. In the case of Viltrumites? They fight to kill and are extremely hard to escape. I agree Mark needs to learn to take them seriously.

IIRC in the comic there's something about Viltrumite cells/atoms/whatever where each of them is encased in a tiny energy field. They get beaten up and that energy field weakens and they weaken with it. It explains why Viltrumite-on-Viltrumite fights start as fistfights and end up with them ripping one another apart, too

Well the reason as to why this might be the case is because of how mark holds back when he’s fighting people which is why he gets his ass kicked. And is also experiencing tougher opponents that are not from earth. But overtime he’ll get much better and stronger to defeat someone like conquest or thragg.
