When this posted on Facebook, I saw A LOT of people saying that this isn't a talent. He's literally 2 and can do math better than most adults. I think that's an incredible talent.
Facebook hands down has the most negative and toxic comments.
Just jealous, hateful, people. He is phenomenal!
Them people are miserable numbskulls!
The kid is a 2yr old genius! WOW!
Those people failed math in school.
I think it's because people don't realise how little 2 years old can do mathematically.
Little man really looked at Howie like "Sir excuse me, I'm doing my math here" 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 Right!
😂😂😂😂
Don't interrupt the process 😂
Yep 😂😂😂😂😅
I was laughing so hard 😂😂😂😂 how can a 2 year old look that serious? You have to live at least 30 years to be that serious lmaoo
From a former math professor, he's got it, for sure! I'm smiling from ear to ear!😊
As A Former Bachelor Degree Social Worker...I Struggled Through Collge Math...Hand Held By Math Teacher And Barely Made A C-! C's Get Degrees! Thank God.
I Wish I Were A 1/10 as Good as He Was!!! ❤
@feleciacrawford5341 I wish you would have had me as your math professor. Almost every student that I taught "hated" math. But after having me as their teacher, they all left my classes knowing that they'd never say, "I hate math" again! No brag. Just fact. ( I was born to teach math & I loved it)!
❤
@@millicenthamilton-kakowski8275❤
I would love to know how you conquer that so that I can use those strategies to get middle and high school students to never hate math again!
P@@millicenthamilton-kakowski8275
When he went back to cross the 7 was the cutest thing ever
Yes ,😂 that is because they wanted to mess with his head
It's a European thing..They cross their sevens.
@@user-iu6tn7rl6eIt's a smart thing...* (the other form of seven is restarted)
from now on I WILL cross my 7s...😀
I love that he can't pronounce their names but can work out multiplication 🤣 So cute.
fr
Or that he has got no clue what is going on lol
😂😂😂😂😂 I liked that!
Exactly❤
Right! 🤣🤣🤣
Lol when he turned around when Howie was talking. It reminded me of a teacher when the students are talking in class. 😂😂😂
😆 I know it was So funny 🤣 what a cutie huh? 😍
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sierra971: 😂🤣
.......and the look on his face was priceless. lol
This kid is a true Genius. He's actually solving the problem and not writing down crammed solution. That's rare and impressive. I wish this kid and his great father the best in life.
Wow, this 2 year old child is already solving math problems in public! And he can write too! He’s got a bright future ahead of him!
Good kid ,excellent bro for teaching your son
The fact that he can write at his age, is a plus for me
At this age I was eating mud😂
@@navmNavm-nc2yzme probably crayon
Almost no one shows off their math/science skills on the big stage. We all need this kind of flex and such role models for kids in their respective age groups.
There are math olympiads for kids in their respective age groups🙂 Promote support for those competitions and for them to be broadcasted🙂
@@ChelseaLori Agree, but they don't get the screen time that AGT gets. There are better platforms in terms of seriousness and history for each form of dance, music etc but AGT is more reachable. Likewise for Math.
Amen
If i knew it wa considered a talent I would've done it awhile ago, I can multiply with 4-5 digit numbers, I f figured it was normal lol
@@joeyst.laurent1987 were you able to do it when you were 2 yrs old ? or when you were 5 ?
The way he turned around and looked at howie was hilarious 😂 protect him at all cost! He’s going to be one of our future leaders! His father deserves kudos also! 😊
Yeah that distraction is probably why he got the last one wrong?
He still did good for a two year old you can tell he’s almost 3 if not already and if the title isn’t an itsy bit of Clickbait, lol!
I’m glad they didn’t say anything to him while he was happy on stage. His father that was helping him should’ve leaned over and whispered to double check his carryover real quick while it was scratched on the board before he yelled the answer out!
Child genius… he even displayed how he came by the answers showing us that he’s not cheating, he’s doing it all by himself. What an incredibly smart child. Kudos to his parents. Well done kiddo
Signs of a good mathematician, he's not just writing down the answers, he's also showing the procedure on how to go about it. Genius!
Yes I agree
thats literally how u do math
@@Gray_mk na
@@empanda.123o ya
@@Gray_mk but I mean he is a 2 year old. The father could've just thought him to simply calculate and only write down the answers, but instead, the child wrote down the whole procedure, which is important in maths. No one sees how you got the answer, they want to see the procedure of it.
We need this more! Singing and dancing talents are great, but STEM talents need to be highly rewarded too!
STEM talents ARE highly rewarded often - with well paying and stable jobs🙂 Generally not the case with the arts, sadly. This baby boy is amazing but we def need to keep these shows focused on talents that are less rewarded in regular society, they are much more needed for that👍
Sour grapes 🍇
@@ChelseaLorialso AGT is meant to get a Las Vegas residency
This is impressive but it’s not a performance
Stem talents are already rewarded...give the others a chance
I agree
I think the best part for me is the joy he has when doing these! His giggles when they pick the numbers, his eagerness to get the marker from daddy, and how he looks and focuses intently as his little mind works out the answer. Just amazing.
he’s incredibly gifted. his fine motor skills are WILD. AND he used standard algorithm!
This toddler snatches that marker from his dad's hands faster than ALL kids grab candy!😂
😂😂😂😂
Math is his candy! Protect this young man at all costs!
😅
Agreed 😂😂😂😂😂
The kids I know would run the other way instead of trying math problems.😂
Genius by birth. Charismatic by nature.
True!
Actually no. Genius through attentive parents. That is the key.🔑
Exactly
@@matthewcunningham-cook9404 sir, genius is defined as having exceptional intellectual or creative powers or other natural abilities. Meaning, one is born a genius and cannot be trained to become one. But yes, parental guidance helps natural abilities to flourish.
Not to steal his shine: he's adorable and all...
But this isn't genius, okay?
This is evidence of the neroplasticity of two year olds, the fact that they can be taught to memorize any facts under the sun, and the eagerness of parents to want to exploit their children's perceived talents and abilities for fame and wealth.
He does not like distraction, he's a great mathematician
You can tell the judges didn't know the answer of the first question until Simon confirmed it.😂😂
😂😂😂
HE'S THE CUTEST LITTLE BOY EVER
Even the boys in Gaza have it......
Yeah! He’s soooo cute 😊
Thank you I am cute

Never before has a kid ever been so cute, so polite and SO SMART…. 😘 😘 😘
For a 2 year old this is MAD impressive not going to lie. This wouldn't be impressive if he was like.. 4 or 5. But 2 ?!?!? Absolutely ABSURD.
Literally a two year being great at math that it absolutely talented. Omg 😱
I like how it genuinely took everyone a second to do 9 x 7😂😂
My favorite part, lol, whole auditorium silently mathing in their heads to check a 2 year old, lol
Also baffled me a bit, although it could have been cut & edit of course. Normally 9x7 is something you can instantly reproduce due it being ingrained in your brain during the early school years. Right? Ehm...right?
Even judges 😢😂😂😂
😂😂😂even me..I was like 49 no
@@shanicecomfort4585 I thought it was 49 too! 😝 I’m 48 years old…I fell like I should know this . 🤨
This boy is going to grow up and present mathematics to the world in a way that has never been seen before - GO DEV!!
Yes, because even I looked at math differently when he was doing it, and I’m not a math person at all.
Child prodigies often don't succeed at math later on for a few reasons. First, pure math is about proofs, not calculation, which requires a lot of patience, and attention to detail, not just calculation skill. Second, a lot of prodigies don't need to work hard. Terence Tao, possibly the smartest mathematician alive, almost failed his PhD because he didn't study enough. Finally, a lot of them end up working in industry making millions modelling stockmarkets and such, instead of research.
Likely going to be ahead of his class too. He might even be able to work with aerospace engineers one day. He is going places if he keeps this up.
Please ZERO POINT ENERGY
IDK man. Sadly it doesn't matter because AGI is imminent years ≤5
From the time this little cutie opened his mouth to speak, I just can't stop crying. It's obvious this kid is a genius, but there's something else extra special about him. He's definitely a bright light shining in this sometimes very dark world, and God bless him. Bravo, Baby Dev! You're simply amazing! Another Benjamin Banneker in the making right here, folks.
That kid is special!!
The fact that he isn't that attentive when they are chosing numbers shows how smart he is ....my Goddd.....😮😮❤
I noticed this as well
@bekundapromise3042 he is a baby. his mission is to play and not to be attentive
@@murphylounge4326 I was trying to mean that he is prepared for whatever that comes, he is not so deep into knowing which numbers they are chosing and that alone shows how smart he is
@@murphylounge4326Welele!
He is a kid, playing is his stuff... But once in the calculation, he is dead serious, the look at Howie😂😂😂😂
Showing calculations....proof that he did it himself, showing his thought process, a long time practice of students taught by old school teachers...before cellphones, calculators etc.
Yes. I remembered that how we were taught In 80s.
Show your work
ah yes cell phones made it impossible for students to show their work, just as the calculator, the slide rule, and the abacus all were the death of mathematics
the silence when 7x9 =63 and everyone was like i dunno
