Because of globalisation we never get to see them . Only a few make the big time and they are ruined by the publicity and showbiz men before they get there. When I was a teenager I was able and could afford to see Acker Bilk play his number 1 hit in a small jazz club in Malvern Worcs. UK. That is how it should be. There is brilliant talent all over the UK but nowhere to go and see them. In my humble opinion many of the raw first performances are way better than the hammed up overdressed acts they are turned into by the entertsinment industry. Simon shows time and time again that he has no empathy r or understanding of what real people want to see and listen to.
