Kody & Robyn have each taken turns belittling and demeaning Christine to the audience. However, during the wedding special they made it a point to "hope Christine" has a happy day. For anyone who has seen more than 2 episodes of season 17 on we understand that Kody & Robyn are speaking out of both sides of their mouths. They berated Christine for her decision to leave the family. They claimed she ruined not only the family but their lives. Now because Christine''s independence and marriage are being celebrated they are singing a different tune to try and ingratiate themselves to the fan base. They've been a negative force in the family since Season 1 Episode 1. Keep that same energy because nobody is buying it.

I think Robyn never imagined that Kody would obsess about Christine for so long. The jealously is oozing out of her. It's the first time Robyn has lived what ACTUAL polygamy must feel like.
I've said the same thing. I'm sure Kody and Robyn were both surprised about his reaction. That's probably made Robyn resent her more.

Robyn and Kody are so jealous that Christine gets all the love and adoration because Christine is lovable, compassionate, quirky and fun. They will never have what Christine has and no one, minus Mykelti, is ever going to see Robyn as a positive, beneficial person to have in their life. I wonder if all her victim mentality with this realization is the reason she rejects and avoids them. She was never the family favorite and never will be. The kids, the other wives and all the fans see her for what she truly is and there are no happy times or memories with Robyn leading them, it was always the OG3 and most especially Christine. That’s what eats K and R up at night.

Last night on Mykelti’s video they said David and Christine were buying a house in Moab to short term rent. It made me pause, David and Christine are showing Kody how it’s done. They are popular and people will rent just to stay in their place.
They are going to do well and Kody is going to still be blaming the wives that he ripped off.
The hilarity of David and Christine having a much higher net worth and steady income beyond the TV show is the BEST revenge. Especially after how Kody made up sime story about how she would get a greedy new boyfriend trying to take Kodys money. Bahahaaa. Jokes on kody. 😂
I heard Christine, as well, say about their buying a vacation home they would be putting on AirBB. I was thinking that would chap Kody's ass as he always mouthed off about having rental homes for his retirement.
The way Christine has handled Robyn and Kody is pretty brilliant. It reminds me of how Katie was able to extricate herself and her daughter from Tom Cruise and Scientology., after she saw how Tom alienated Nicole from their kids' lives. She was steadfast and determined, single minded and she had a plan. I don't believe that things have turned out well for Christine because of luck. I think it was a carefully crafted plan. Her and Janelle may not have been close before, but I think she knew that she was going to need all of the allies that she could muster in order to avoid being the ostracized wife, which seems to be the pattern when women leave cults. It seems to have worked like. a charm. Good for her. Bravo and well played.

He expected Janelle and meri to fall in line and along with robyn shun her, and to get their kids to shun her. That is how its usually done in fundamentalist groups. He was pissed especially when Janelle wouldn't. Janelles kids have a real bind with Christine. She also played him pretty well when his greed led him to come off the loan on Christine's house so he could buy Robyn's house. This gave her the legal control over that asset. Once she decided to leave he had no cards left to play. He did try to threaten her with 50 59 custody to stop her from moving to a supportive environment in Utah. That didn't work either, she called his bluff and knew he didn't really want 50 percent custody with truely. He had hoped once she left she would end up like Meri, unable to find love, humiliated and crawling back but instead she met David. Well played Christine, well played. 👏 I'm hoping the final blow to kody is when they decide to move forward with a new spinoff that doesn't include kody amd robyn and they cancel sister wives.

I think one of the reasons Sobyn is so jealous of Christine is that Christine actually has found her soulmate and really is happy, while she went for a sugar daddy and wound up with a broke-ass narcissist with bad hair. Kody has always been narcissistic, but when the OG3 met him, he was a kinder gentler Kody. I watched the show in real time as it aired, and my whole family noticed the change in his attitude.
I have a pet theory that Kody felt somehow emasculated by being referred to as “metrosexual” and having high school friends say they thought he was gay on camera during early seasons. Maybe he was even teased by men around him because of it. A man who is secure in himself won’t let something like that bother him, but after meeting the Dargers, I think the control Mr. Darger had over his clan was somehow inspiring to poor Kody. I think Kody has confused “masculinity” and “power” with belligerence, loss of self control and mud slinging. Because Kody is simple minded and easy to influence, and because Robyn is controlling and conniving, she has been able to step in and use his insecurities to puppet him entirely. He exists now to do her will and bidding, and he believes it’s his own! It’s pretty spectacular! He won’t even answer a question without looking at Robyn for permission. When he says something she doesn’t like, if she can’t get him to shut up, she attacks his head and physically holds his mouth closed. I’ve never seen anything like it!

In an interview from last year Kody admitted that one of the reasons he married Christine was because she came from polygamy royalty and he felt like it would give him clout so to speak.
My father cleared & created fields for our dairy farm. He had us kids a ways off in case, but he always felled the trees right where he said they would go. Kody's scary with that power saw. He doesn't know what he's doing....and they can jackknife & kill a person.❤❤❤

Christine has always been the light in the room life of the party with the Brown family basically the glue because once she left the whole family fell totally apart Now she has found her a strong partner & because of both their personalities they are The Power Couple & you seen it at the end of the 1st part of their wedding. They love the company but they also love one another very much. This is Christine’s first love she doesn’t have to share she’s not a basement wife anymore she gets to live life for herself not just for the family & she loves them as they love her very much. Robyn didn’t want Christine to watch her children because she was scared that her children would gravitate to Christine just as all the children have done. The only person that’s watched Robyn’s kids is the Nanny facts 🦋💋

Kody is only attractive to Robyn when other women are pining after him and she can take him away from them. Now, nobody else wants him and she can no longer get her rush off of destroying the happiness of the other wives. She is pure evil. I do believe Kody had a certain amount of affection for the og3 wives before he met Robyn. Robyn put that experienced customer service on him and fed his ego when the other wives didn’t do that. The other wives would let him know when he was doing and saying dumb stuff. Robyn tries to do it by cutting him off. Robyn thought when her and Kody got ran the other wives off that they was going to be miserable. They the show was going to be all about them because they was the only couple but their life doesn’t have a storyline because they are boring people. I think you hit it head on when you talked about the “punishment”. That is an abusive act, and attempt at controlling their intended victim. Christine is no longer their victim. She is victorious. I saw this pattern over and over when I worked in behavioral health and with victims of DV.

Kody wanted Christine to be a Meri and just be there and be quiet be here, the day of the “knife in the kidney” remark, look at Meri comments she was happy see the grin, I think Meri foolishly thought Kody would get back with her, she waits another 2 years and nothing happens, Robyn continues to lead her on, Kody and Robyn thought he could scare and make those nasty comments about Christine to make her stay, but Christine god bless her she said “see you bye bye” had Meri done this 10 years ago she would be in a much better place now. what part of Kody saying nasty things about Christine… but Christine just kept going she left, look at how she shines and how she is so lovely she deserves it…
I agree with you. The thing it is is that I don’t think Cody realizes that Christine doesn’t really give a damn what he thinks about her. She’s already been to hell and back with him. She’s done he can think whatever he wants Robin can think whatever she wants, they can call her every name in the book, she’s got her fairytale gun. She does not care and why they keep it up is beyond me. Also, I want to say I watched Amanda Ray these are young people who have left the cult and everything that they say is spot on. I think Robyn coached Kody to be all cheery during their tree-felling interview, after how rage-filled he was in the tell-alls. But he still screwed up. The look on her face when Kody spilled that he found out about the wedding by seeing a wedding invite at his sister's. THEN he starts to tell a story about Christine "accusing him..." which Robyn squashed. So then he changed his story.

What I really believe.... I believe Robyn wanted to be TOP wife but not the ONLY wife. She helped dismantle the family and now she's stuck with Kody all by herself. And yes, Robyn and Kody both blame Christine for their current misery... Christine was the glue that held that family together and everyone knows it and they can't handle that fact. It's all very twisted.

Robin has heard in private how much anger & hate for Christine , how many years he’s been doing it , so that’s why she was afraid what he might continue to rant the hate he has for her . He’s been able to say all the hate for 3 years when no one was around , he has been able to control & say what ever he wanted to the wives , not caring the feelings of the wives . Like the knife in the kidney , how hard it was the be the leader , so if they didn’t do exactly what he wanted he was mad 😡.

Yeah, I didn’t notice this when I watched this episode until I just saw it just now… I believe that this is the first time that Cody has said Christine has said to “our children” I mean normally in Kodyland it’s Christine‘s kids and Janelle‘s kids and Mary’s kids… Then Robin is our kids or mine and Robin‘s kids. but I feel like a since like maybe season eight or nine they have only been a handful of times that I’ve heard that man say our children or our kids when talking about one of the OG wives and their kids
