I am a type 2 and I have been wearing a G6 for about 3 months and because of it I was able to take my A1C from 10.1 to 5.6 in 4 months. Thank you DexCom.
Thanks for remembering to ask for us ! Waiting waiting for G7 in Australia . Super looking forward to it for my 11 year old t1d . I’m sold on all the hype !
I always liked him as well. I hope they and others (tandem, Medtronic, abbot, omnipod, senseonics, etc.) are all working with Apple and smart watch companies. Once apples glucose monitoring comes out it will really affect these companies. I hope they all can succeed in the future. The field needs better data management, exporting, and access from loved ones to see in real time. I also wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a cure soon.
Hi Justin, thanks so much for your helpful videos! If you talk to CEO Kevin Sayer of Dexcom again in the future, the following things would be interesting to know. - on the Apple Watch, the Dexcom complication is not updated at regular intervals. Often only three strokes are displayed. What is the reason for this? Is the problem known? - Why has the Bluetooth range deteriorated so much? When I wear the G7 on my left arm, I have to have the phone on the same side, otherwise I have signal loss. The Bluetooth range was much better on the G6. Is this problem also known? Thank you in advance!
Please help. Today I received my Galaxy Z Flip 5. I was so looking forward to using the Dexcom App on the cover screen, only to find that the new Z Flip 5 is incompatible with the app. Does anyone have any idea if, and when, this phone will be approved? Thanks in advance for any help
Hi! Can you check Medtrum pump and sensor? It’s much smaller than omnipod and weighs only 13 grams and it’s sensor updates every 2 minutes. I have heard about it in Europe and wondering why nobody covering such great product or it’s only my opinion that it is great )))
Only thing I learned from this video is it will be 3 years from now before the G7 is available for Tandem pumps. And it will be 3 years from now before the G7 can be used for 14 days. Or it may never be approved for that long of usage. You will have to wait for the G8. And Tandem will take 3 years to upgrade to that too. And maybe the direct to watch feature of the G7 Bluetooth may occur for Apple next year or the year after or the year after. But F the much larger number of people using Android.
whatever deciding body is approving med tech devices need to get gutted. They are FAR too slow, omnipod5 came out with support for 3 android devices that are 3 versions down from current, it is a joke and a meme.
@@anonymousone24 Sarcasm. There was absolutely nothing in the video stated as a fact. Or anything even remotely near a fact. As in "We are currently testing the G7 with direct to watch and have set a fall launch date. Of course we could have setbacks. But small setbacks due to the huge amount of work we have already completed." Everything said was just made up fantasy.
For all of you looking forward to the g 7…don’t get your hopes up too high…it’s a piece of crap. Everything from the app to the sensors is constantly failing. Been using this junk for over six months now with 9 sensors per batch…never had sensor that didn’t fail in one way or the another. Watch complications are a disaster and a huge disappointment in every sense…not to mention the connection to the phone. Just forget the talk about three simultaneous connections at a time…it can’t even keep one alive.
Why only Apple watch? There is a huge population of us who use an Android type watch i.e. Samsung Galaxy to name one of the more popular ones. So why is it we're always ignored?
I really like Kevin Sayer.- I'm always impressed when I hear him speak. He really seems to care about us as people and not just about the bottom line!
It's 12/29/2023 were is Direct to watch?

Not to worried about watch. How long before more phones are added to the to the dexcom app to work with my phone.

What about Android wearables?
Did he say Canada launch of dexcom g7 this year?
Yes, by the end of this year, here in Canada. Dexcom Canada announced that back on July 4th.
