But he’s also administering horribly… the speed at which he’s moving his finger is excessive and he’s also going way beyond full deviation (too wide) he only needs to track 3 things.. lack of smooth pursuit…which even a sober person would have a hard time pursuing his finger as he swings it around, nystagmus at full deviation (bouncing when eyes are looking all the way left or all the way right) and onset of nystagmus at 45 degrees. He really wasn’t giving her much of a shot.
Being a cop seems more like babysitting adults most of the time.
I mean thats alot of it. They take care of alot of people. Ive got a few family members that are cops and thats most of there stories

Why? He was moving his finger so fast. I was having a hard time keeping my eyes on his finger and I'm watching on a screen. It's weird to me they even do these test's in America. In Canada every cop has a breathalyzer in the car with them and force you to blow in them if they suspect anything.
@@badgerbox her main problem wasnt on the speed. she even tried following it with her head. she's clearly intoxicated. on top of that, it's more on the fact that individuals may not be as cooperative on the breathalyzer as the test. on top of that, the legal alcohol limit varies from state to state. this is an all-around tool for helping any and every person who may have the unfortunate chance to drive overintoxicated with the possibility to harm yourself and other people.
on top of that youre not looking from the same perspective or distance as she is. his finger moves so fast, but to her eyes, it has distance and is much easier to follow with her eyes due to her proximity to the cop

@@badgerbox breathalyzers are great for alcohol, but these additional tests also show if they're impaired from ingesting/doing something else. She got way too many chances with that test though.
@@amberb1641 Fair enough. I get being under the influence doesn't always mean alcohol but 90% of the time it is. I think some people struggle with these tests even sober because their hand-eye coordination/motor skills aren't as sharp as the average person. Does that mean they shouldn't be driving? I don't know but the DMV doesn't do these tests when you go in to renew your licence, which is where these tests should also be conducted.

Watching these shows makes me realize how blessed I am in this life. So many people have terrible relationships with their family or drug problems etc. prayers to these people for sure
The more I watch the more I realize a lot of this stuff is just an inconvenience for lower class people, the cops very visibly don’t care when they tow a car or find a tiny amount of drugs when they’re sticking a fat stick in the tire of the poor

The black officer that went to help the couple fighting was an absolutely outstanding officer!!! Best one I’ve ever seen I think. He was so empathetic to their situation and he genuinely wanted to help! I wish every officer was professional and helpful to the communities they serve as that police officer was! Absolutely amazing!! These are the officers that need raises and promotions.

This cop is a REALLY good man, doing a tough job of making it clear to a couple how they should be treating each other.
That officer did an amazing job with that homeless couple, deescalating the situation where they could stand in front of each other and talk properly. That was so nice to see someone who could mediate so kindheartedly like that

I was pretty disappointed in that they didn't seem to take him very seriously as a victim. It seemed that the woman would have been let go if she had been cooperative with police. They just treated it as a dispute and not domestic violence and assumed the guy wouldn't want to give a statement.

This is, in my opinion, the definition of exemplary police work and should be required 100% for all officers of the law to portray. Any less of this example should never be hired to protect and serve our communities!. Police should all be like Officer TJ Tavares, and all police officers should definitely get a 110% raise to their salary, too!!!! Wow, much respect. Thank you so much for your service, sir!!!!!!!
