That first cop is what we need more of. Recognized the kid was scared, recognized he didn’t need to ruin his life when we was running over nothing, made him pay his dues and nothing more.

It's also important for kids to know, running away and resisting will get you in more trouble.
@@xDragonInstallx 100% agree, current law student and I think there are two things you should always know when the police are trying to stop/detain you: running makes defending you harder (extra charges, and I promise you won't win - they LIVE to chase people down), and tasers have a much greater range than most people think.
The trick was, he told the cops the weed was behind the seat, and they never looked for the pounds of heroin in the trunk.

He's a good cop. His name is Danny Brown
The first cop is stellar!! Even after having to run when he caught up with the kid the kid was honest and chill. The cop said the kid was being cooperative and then told the kid he had his shoes and was going to get them for him.
Trust me it was MUCH more than just that little bit of weed that he was running for. He probably ditched some other drugs or a pistol in the woods, which is why he just hopped in the other cop's car so they wouldn't go looking for stuff.

horlale Obstruction=Obstruction of Justice and is a pretty broad term that can mean a lot of things of varying severity (lying being one of them and the one he’d be dinged with), and could lead to jail time or a hefty fine.
The officers, rolling up on anywhere in Richland county: yeah, we get a lot of calls to this place. It’s well known for drug activity.

i used to be one of those "ACAB" people, but seeing officers like this really make me appreciate how hard some of these people work to keep us safe... ill never forget the lady officer that saved my life when i was a kid. its a shame that a few AWFUL cops ruin it for people that save kids lives. i remember i saw that officer that saved me at football game when i was in HS, and i walked up to her, hugged her, and cried. its crazy how people are made to be so angry at someone just for being a cop, when some officers put their life on the line to save you. i wish we could weed out the evil ones, and praise the ones like the lady i knew.
That's what we should really focus on. Not generalize but weed out the evil ones.
