You need to have a $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. There is two parts to the policy all under the same policy number.

You can add more cities or "domiciles" once you login through a computer. You can't do it from the relay app.

The year doesn't matter as long as the truck is in good condition. You definitely need a lift gate!

However I’m trying to apply for relay and when I put in my DOT and MC it says there’s an error. So I just want to confirm, do I need to put the “0” on my MC number? Hi there, is the liftgate 100% required for the amazon relay or not? can't you just load and unload from one facility to another? I do have a 26ft truck but no liftgate.

can you pick up multiple loads in one box truck? How about one load from a different load board and one load from amazon if it fits?
I wouldn't recommend it. There would be too much room for possible errors and issues.

How do you go about insurance if your renting ?

What is the difference from General liability aggregate and Automobile liability do I need to call my insurance and add General liability aggregate because I don’t have that
General Liability is the coverage type. The word Aggregate applies to the maximum amount of payouts the policy will cover per year. For General Liability you need a $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. It's all under one policy. It is a separate coverage from your Auto Liability.

I would say a roll of shrink wrap. Heard a story today about loose packages that were part of a pallet. Instead of making a new pallet, i would just throw the loose boxes associated with the pallet on top and wrap shrink wrap around the pallet to keep the loose boxes secure with the pallet.

I've heard of people using a 24ft truck with Relay but just be careful and make sure you have the space. Always read those load descriptions!

You do not want to get insurance without an agent. If you go through progressive directly, you need to call them every time you need a COI which can take an hour+ every single call.
I currently do not have a insurance agent but I see on My progressive account where I can have my COI forwarded or emailed to Amazon. I was wondering would I be able to do that or would I need to get an agent.
No, you must have an agent to apply for amazon. If you purchased directly through progressive, you won't be able to apply. what date did your policy start?

That is up to you. You choose how to hire yourself. I would recommend W-2 but you may want to talk to a tax professional.

I've heard of people using shorter trucks but I wouldn't do it. You want a 26ft truck, dock height, with a lift gate. You don't have to get your truck inspected by Amazon or upload photos, or anything like that so it's entirely possible to check the loads and determine if you can use a shorter truck but it might limit you a good bit.

Amazon requires you to have active motor carrier authority so even if you plan on staying local and not even crossing state lines, you still have to get your MC to get approved with them.

I hate to say no but I don't want to tell you go for it and then mess you up. People get by with a lot of things that don't fit the requirements so I'd say its your call to give it shot if you really want to. Just make sure you read the load descriptions before you book anything. You don't want your performance score taking a hit and then not be able to get their loads.

Amazon requires 1 million in auto liability. Collision is for your vehicle. Amazon does not require this. Only your lienholder requires it.
