Would it be easier to use a protractor? I mean a real protractor not the one for ppl who do not know how to use one. That’s how I do mine after I clean everything up and set drywall screws for my height to level. If the wood is hard say like in remodels I wax the screw to not fight them. I also run a Whiteside 1/16” Rnd-over bit to break the edge. All my measurements ID’s inside that window width I use a laser ? Now I see guys using the one bought at Home Depo off the Shelf or Lowes ? I had accuracy problems with it ? So I went to a Licera Disteo last maybe $30 bucks more but it I can calculate plans (12ths) and it’s dead on!
I just want to say I can count on one hand YT Channels that focus on Trim Carpenters ( Pro). Now there are hundreds of channels from “DIY”ers who are all over the map & I need another pro exchanging ideas with us ! Like you!
Please do not stop these videos in fact if anything make them longer to include tools used, time consumed , one man or two man job & so on !

Window sill?
Window stool is correct for what is shown. The terminology is commonly mistaken and people usually refer to sill/stool as the same thing. However the sill is part of the window and the stool is not 🤙🏻
