I made this and it turned out so good and the instructions were easy to follow. I did not make the syrup and the glaze because for me the cake was already adequately moist and sweet. I made some changes to the recipe by adding a bit of vanilla and about ¼ tea spoon salt.
Tried and tested ! So delicious. It was gone the 2nd day 🤣🤣 but my oven us different i had to make the temperature higher to bake it fully. But other than that. It was delicious. It wasnt too sweet

Hello, the orange juice that I used for batter is from grocery and for orange syrup and glazed, I used freshly squeezed orange (1 big orange). Since this recipe is required to use orange zest from 1 big orange, I only used 1 orange and rest of juice I used bought one. 😊
is the pan size correct? I always measure ingredients by weight but this pan was too small. cake well over grew. are you sure isn't 20X11X6? I did save it though by transferring it to a bigger pan in order to soak the orange juice. OMG such great taste!

Thank you for your recipe. I already tried to rebake yesterday and result is so amazing. Sweet and sour are perfect taste. I just made a bit changes as I had only 2 oranges so I substituted with lemon for glaze and syrop and best result. So moist :)

You can make this cake round. I recommend you use an 18-20 cm round pan. It may take less time to bake, so bake 30 minutes first, do a toothpick test, and then bake the rest until cooked perfectly by checking the cake every 5 minutes. 2. This cake has a very moist texture. It can be difficult to make 3 layers because it has a lot of moisture enough. If you make three layers, the shape can be ruined. 3. You can pour the glaze all over the top. But if you're making a round cake, you'll need more glaze. If you make 2 times in my recipe, you will be able to cover the entire top.
