Thank you for this amazing recipe. I am a bit confused about not using baking powder. What causes the cake to rise? Normally cake flour usually has baking powder in it already so I can understand why we would not add the baking powder, but All Purpose Flour does not have any baking powder so why should we not add any baking power at all?

Wowwww I tried this today and it was really goodddd. The smell is amazing and the amount of sweetness was spot on. I wish I had put a bit more orange zest though. Also, I did need to bake 5-10 more extra minutes. At 30min, my cake was still undercooked. Thank you for the amazing recipeeee

carrillosanchezmari, sí puede llevar royal, aunque no lo necesita x el hecho de levantar las claras a punto de turrón, pero si vive a nivel de mar si póngale ½ cdita y claro que puede doblar la receta. Todas las recetas se pueden hacer la mitad ó duplicar.
Si. La espuma de huevo es importante en mi receta. Al mezclar la masa de la torta, es importante mantener el volumen de espuma de huevo. Si haces eso, el pastel estará terminado como un video. Puedes hacerlo sin usar levadura. Gracias. Te deseo éxito. Gracias.

Does this cake rise well or it rises a little bit ? Can you tell me how many centimeters your cake has risen ? Mine has risen only 1 cm, but I used a glass pan of 17 cm diameter and 9 cm height. Does it effect too much ? I also used cane sugar, not white sugar.

저는1호원형틀에 굽다가 손님이 많이오신다해서 2배로양을늘려서 16.5cm×높이4.5cm되는 2호정사각팬에 구우니 딱좋았어요
반죽안에 건크린베리넣고 위에는아몬드슬라이스 올려서 170도에30분 구웠어요
다음엔 크린베리넣을땐 설탕양을좀줄여야할듯ᆢ너무 달달하네요

Wowwww I tried this today and it was really goodddd. The smell is amazing and the amount of sweetness was spot on. I wish I had put a bit more orange zest though. Also, I did need to bake 5-10 more extra minutes. At
30min, my cake was still undercooked. Thank you for the amazing recipeeee

Does this cake rise well or it rises a little bit ? Can you tell me how many centimeters your cake has risen ? Mine has risen only 1 cm, but I used a glass pan of 17 cm diameter and 9 cm height. Does it effect too much ? I also used cane sugar, not white sugar.
