I don’t find a lot of men attractive to me because I am waiting until marriage. My ex left me because I didn’t want to be in a relationship with someone who isn’t waiting until marriage. Thank you for that. Because I had to leave a pool party yesterday because I had friends who just started talking about sex. And I know they aren’t about God at all. I need some new friends to hang out with where that isn’t the conversation every time. And it’s hard. Because I may be looked at as the boring girl. My dating life is non existence now ever since I have been abstinence. I feel like social media has messed that up and as well as dating apps. I don’t use dating apps at all. I don’t trust the men on there at all. It’s been hard being in my 30s and hasn’t been married or anything. Great video. I am not the only one out here who is abstinence.
Yeah, I understand what you are saying. Since my walk with Christ, I don’t socialize with the same group of friends I use to. I’m still friendly with them, but my time with them has changed. I use to be concerned if they saw me as boring as well or if my topic of conversation is too spiritual for them at times but now, for me, the more I walk with Christ, the more it don’t bother me if these people don’t want to socialize with me ever again because i see im different now. Our spirits are not meshing anymore because they’re still down with the world. I just pray for them and not take it to heart. I know God has friends for me. It’s all good.

I know me. What helped me was actively fasting and whoever is leading the fast does mention sex outside of marriage. One thing, I start doing was listening to men who preach the word and they start telling about sex outside of marriage. I was listening to Vlad Sauvchuk and he said if you are a man, a man needs to be busy from sun up to sundown. He said that was his scedule.

Congrats on your journey🎉 Abstinent since Dec. 2018... the journey has not been perfect by any means but maintaining day by day. Without God's help this would not be at all possible. I was always used to being in a relationship since HS through college after college, etc. Being alone was never my forte. Once I got tired and truly surrendered to God I began to learn a lot about myself and how much work I had to do. I have come to understand my true desire for companionship, friendship, and partnership with one man for the rest of my earthly days and what it takes to get there. It is hard to navigate but I truly believe it is worth it. God's way is the best way.

It is a sin that corrupts and ensnares like no other, and it often leads to physical diseases. For these reasons, Paul concludes that sexual immorality is a sin committed against one’s own body. Masturbation is another topic that should be discussed, an interesting name for it. That is fornicating with yourself and deliverance ministries talk about spiritual spouses occurring during those times.

It's one of portals for transference of spirit too, if I have demons of suicide, lust, witchcraft and other demons and I have sex with someone else, all my demons have legal rights to go to that person too

I’ve never been hyper sexual or relatively craved any kind of attention from men, never been familiar with my body, never cared much about sex. However, whenever I dealt with men, I always engaged. Since being celibate and estranged from men, I worry if I have developed enough as a follower of Christ to maneuver these situations with men. I worry if I’m ready or know how to date on this celibacy journey.
Just tell yourself "I am More than a Conqueror through Jesus Christ"
And if the person is truly sent by God, you won't have to worry about maneuvering the situation because they will be on the same page as you and want to honor God in the relationship

This is so good! Hallelujah! My husband and I started our relationship in sexual sin, but God!!! We were convicted by the Holy Spirit and immediately stopped having sex. It was very difficult at first but over time, almost 3 years to be exact we abstained until marriage, all glory to God!!! This year we celebrate 16 years of marriage!!! Girl I know all about the spirit of lust smh I praise God bc He allowed me to hear satan temp me with lust by speaking to me in my right ear tempting me with his lies and the Holy Spirit whispering to me in my left ear, just say no. I heard the devil tempt me with his lies 3 times and each time God was right there whispering to me all 3 times in response to satans lies, just say no. But bc the lies the devil tempted me with sounded so good as he knew my weaknesses I listened to the voice of the enemy and when I made my decision and said yes to the enemy bc the devil was speaking to me through a man whom the devil had been using all along the Holy Spirit left bc I made my decision to sin and sin I did. I was so sorry to the Lord that I wrote Him a letter of apology and I stopped allowing the devil to lead me around. I thank God for giving me ears to hear and eyes to see bc I experienced a live temptation session between my ears and I know it was bc God wanted me to be aware of how the enemy tempts us and what to do when temptation comes a knockin. All we have to say is NO and agree with God instead of satan! And many times the 2 letter word no is one that is so hard to say. My downfall was I didn’t shut the devil down as soon as I heard his lies! Nope, I listened to the crap he was feeding me and the more I allowed him to speak to me the better it sounded and God was right there to help me out of it but I shut God down instead 😔 and that’s how the enemy wins YET if we realize who’s speaking we can nip it in the bud and be VICTORIOUS over sin bc the battle is already won 🙌🏼💯 We need to know who is speaking at all times and line it up with the Word and if it does not line up with the Word SHUT IT DOWN! CLOSE THE MOUTH OF THE ENEMY RIGHT AWAY!!! Bc he cannot do more to us than we allow hallelujah 🙌🏼 we have POWER and AUTHORITY over ALL the power of the enemy and NOTHING shall by any means hurt us (Luke 10:19) Praise God! Remember the devil comes to us in many forms so we have to stay alert and sober bc of our enemy the devil 🙌🏼💯

I was celibate for 6 years then Fell from grace. When I thought my then bf would be my husband. He did not ask for permission (whole nother testimony) he was in the church and professed to love God. He was a warlock in the flesh. Behind closed doors he was verbally, sexually abusive and perverted. I am a strong woman but even now it is embarrassing that I allowed him in my life. He has been out of my life for one year now. So it’s been 11 months since abstained from sex. I’m in my thirties I want to be wed and I’m not a sexual person but nowadays - even the nicest men still want sex. Please pray for my journey my spiritual sister. I’ve been praying too and getting back close with God , to have discernment.

You know Lala, sometimes God want us to go through certain situations so that we see and learn something about ourselves or for a greater good. This knowledge we gain is purposeful and it is suppose to carry us through with what we came here to do.

The conversations…being on guard during those is something I’m working on. Time and time again, I tell my non believing friends to be careful, and what the supernatural consequences are to sexual sins. And I would use my own experiences as an example of the consequences I faced in the past when I fell into fornication. They’ll pick and choose what parts they will think about and what parts to dismiss. It’s so true how you have to stay guarded during conversations. I got hardcore convicted yesterday because of the lack of discipline I had in conversations.

That is wonderful La. I am amazed at your strength. Please pray for me yal I need help. My baby dad lives with me and our three kids. I keep telling him that he has to sleep downstairs so that I won’t give into temptation I even told him he had to move out because we keep leading into sexual sin due to us not being married. I also don’t know if we should even get married because him and I aren’t equally yoked for God. Long story short, I’m tired of getting convicted and feeling so guilty after I give into temptation because he refuses to sleep downstairs so he sleeps with me and he will always try to convince me to have sex but recently I have been standing my grown by keep telling him I mean what I say I don’t want to go to hell for my sin . I don’t know what else to do he’s a great father so I don’t want our kids without him but I need to understand that I am serious with my walk with God now. He tells me that I wasn’t like this at first we have kids now all of a sudden I want to not have sex that’s what he says to get some u know what. I just hope that y’allpray for me or give me advice on what I should do. Thank you!

Take them one by one in prayer and fasting, meaning Take one name Repent and ask God to break the soul tie and the legal right and deliver you, don't move on to someone else until the holy spirit tells you so, and do that until you go through all of them

It's about 4 years for me. People don't believe me when I tell them that I have committed to this. They don't understand why since I'm no longer a virgin so I have to explain but they still try to push it even if they say OK. With all this being the case, I've just stopped trying to date.

Question LALA when you say abstinence does that mean not having self pleasure too whether male or female. Also if you get into a relationship in the future and your extremely attracted to them, when you say boundaries does that include no kissing or no touching. Just curious and always wanted to know if you or anybody who reads this would have the answers. Because I would think if you are in a relationship or courtship with someone, then how on earth do you not touch them romantically in any way at home or vacation and resist for months or years without kissing, or holding each other because Im sure the thought of intimacy will cross your mind numerous times. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't sin all looked at the same like the thought of lust, is the same as having intimacy according to the bible. Just want or need clarification because this topic to me can have many different levels and layers to it. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated
Yes, abstinence means abstaining from self pleasure as well because it is not of God.
Also, boundaries depend on the couple. For me personally, whenever i get into another relationship, there will be No Kissing (until married) on lips because that can lead to a whole bunch of other unwanted things. I know from experience. That's a setup for the enemy to destroy your abstinence journey.
I think holding hands and hugs would be fine though while in the dating stage.
And relationships should have strong foundations and be built on God and friendship. So it shouldn't be hard at all to set boundaries if God is at the center of the relationship and it's built on true friendship and *LOVE* Not lust. It's Very Possible. Remember With GOD, *ALL* Things Are *Possible*
Masturbation is wrong, because you still have sex with demons in your mind , that's lust, in dating date someone who have the same beliefs as you, someone who wants to stay holy, so no kissing, because kissing leads to lust, don't be in a secluded place together, always be in public, and only date people someone that You already know it's your husband or your wife, so you don't date to long
Hi Chardon. As mentioned above, abstinence includes self pleasure. And firm boundaries will be needed during the courtship phase. I would not recommend kissing or anything that can draw you towards sex. The enemy will be looking for any opening to tempt you! But if both are submitted to the LORD, the Holy Spirit will assist during this season. 🙏🏽
