I been feeling uneasy about a certain friend. The closer I get too God the more I feel I should let this friend go. But I was like maybe I'm tripping. She's a good person. I prayed about it. Maybe this is confirmation.

I learned at an early age that you will only have 1 to 2 real friends in life.
And even those friends sometimes disappear.
And really you don't need a lot of friends. The Bible even warns us that one with too many friends is unwise. As someone who knows unbelievers and Christians and is naturally an Ambivert, I have to remind myself of boundaries and other notions of Friendships. They're constantly changing.
Amos 3:3 says, "how can two walk together except they be in agreement"

Honeeeey you are lucky to have two, in down to “zero” close friends. At first it bothered me, I’m like dang Abba I can’t have no friends 😭😩 but once God started revealing why, I’m okay with it now. It’s just been God and I now for a year!

Same here. My friend is in an abusive relationship and I told her I wanted better for her and she doesn't deserve that. That's all I said. She told me I was trying to come between her and her husband. It hurts but I 've prayed for her and asked God for strength.

I remember clearly back in October 2021, a situation happened at the church I attended for nearly 9 years I had to leave in addition to many people, most of these people were my “closest friends”. I knew they weren't my friends for a long while by the way they treated me. I felt from God I was tolerated, not celebrated or loved. I asked God for him to reveal people to me, to remove them if they are not meant to be there and he did, a mass exodus of people left my life and even until now he's still removing people I've been trying to hold onto. Basically, God will do it for you if you have challenges doing it yourself. He loves us that much. I barely have friends now, but instead of taking as I'm unlovable or not worthy of genuine friendships, he's separating me for such a time as this, for true friendships ordained by him.

I did this 3 ish years ago now. God truly answers prayer . He exposed friendships in my life and he gave the go ahead to remove a lot of them. Some he said we're even okay to block.
It doesn't have to make sense to others. If God gave the instructions that's all that matters. What's worse is rationalization and disobedience.
Yeah I feel it too 😭 the dynamic shifted when I became a Christian. I saw this video initially when I broke up with my ex (for good).
Now my friendships are a little shaken. I’m just riding the wave at this point.
Interesting how when I was depressed, down and out, spiritually not aligned with the Lord it was easy to befriend me. Now that I walk with God, it’s been tense. Even “Christians” don’t even want to talk about the Lord on a daily basis

I really needed this today. I cried last night asking my husband why the people I consider friends aren’t friends to me, why I feel rejected, what I did, asking myself all these questions feeling even more frustrated because I didn’t do anything but change my life for the BETTER! Stopped drinking, stopped partying, stopped including God where I wanted and realized how much I need him. I started feeling like people really truly like the worst version of me, not this version. It hurts, it does, but I needed to hear and see this today. I will be still and remember God has not left me, it’s a reason for it all. ❤

I had to leave facebook for this very reason of knowing that with God we all have seasons we must travel down and some roads are not pleasant. We don’t need a million likes or the approval of people, we need Gods approval and his purpose s in our lives is the highest priority, don’t seek the praises of man, it’s a deep trap, but when God smiles 😊concerning you, we know his approval and favor is all we need. We must be the change that People so desperately need so that they can to get closer to God. Friendship has to have a God driven purpose, for we are salt and light in this dark World. 😊

Yep… This was really good! God is also doing the same within families. Some family members can’t go the whole journey with us. Jesus will come through with his sword and separate relationships…even in families. He didn’t come to bring peace! Luke 12:51-53 It’s hard but it’s necessary if we are to go higher in the Lord! God definitely removed the wrong people from my life but have began to replace with wonderful people who are fully grounded in God and genuinely want to help me with understanding my gifts 🥰🥰

@@YahLoverDOMMY13 amen to that. Definitely remain patient with the process. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense in the moment but eventually it will all come together. Seasons of isolation is needed. God has to have our undivided attention. The lesser distractions the better. Too many distractions can hinder us from being able to clearly hear Him or understand what He’s needing from us.
I'm feeling this so much. It's still taking time, but thank God for being in a ministry where people see God more than just Sundays. I think a church culture of honor is important too. I thank God for removing people from my life too.
The Lord showed me that in some unhealthy friendships, they either need to be pruned, or have less access to you. It's not healthy being around people who say they're Christian but only gossip. How are they praying with you? Edifying your faith? Hungering for more of God?
Soooooo literally minutes before I opened RUclips while eating my Saturday almond ring slice with coffee, I was JUST thinking/praying about a particular friend who I've walked with for over 14 years now. We've had our fall outs in the past, but always reunited stronger. However, recently, over the past year she has really been a flakey and convenience-only type friend. She betrayed my trust by telling her entire family I was pregnant before I even got to tell my family or other friends. Last couple get togethers and phone conversations she has been aloof, not paying any attention or texting other people while I'm telling her serious life issues or stories. She has barely been there for me or reached out during my whole pregnancy to ask how I'm doing/feeling. And lastly, she has no problem canceling plans on me or "forgetting" to tell me she's no longer available, while giving me the cold shoulder if I cancel due to illness. I've also been noticing that we are walking separate ways in our journey with the Lord. I cannot believe how timely this video is. I have been super hesitant to cut her off because she is the only close friend I have. I don't even have a husband or the father of my baby around as a friend to be there for me. But I know if I did, I would have cut her off by now. Thank you for this word today, as I know it's for me and my situation!!!!

She told me that she felt guilty to let them go, but in the end, she saw that God was protecting her from hurting. It's a scripture that says to guard your heart because it will run the course of your life.

This is the confirmation! I know life happens, adulting be hard, we get busy with routine and balance. I’m the friend that would constantly check in with calls, text, and leave voicemails. No response on her end. I tried my best, been there through thick and thin. However, not checking on me , during my seasons. I’ve grieved and let go of a 18 year friendship with my bestfriend. Growing in God, but we aren’t compatible. The 21 yrs ago college days are over, I’m not the same 17 yr old.
I just said a prayer yesterday and asked God if I should keep the friendship that I just started. She is a nice person but I’m serious about my walk with Christ and I will let nothing or no one get in the way. The Lord will give you clarity. Ask God to expose your friendships. That's what I did and he revealed people I needed to remove from my life to go to the next level.
Amen!!! Year before last on my birthday God separated me from childhood friends. It’s not like I didn’t see it but He shined the light SOOO bright on the situation and it just dissolved. We all aren’t moving in the same direction. Some move for more

Sis this is/was me. I recently made the decision to remove my self of a group I’ve known for about 6 years and realized some of them were never real friends, recently noticed they are more focused on what they want to do rather than the group. It feels amazing to let go and actually heed the Holy Spirit, the peace was clear as day. And plus most are not Christian, so I’m going to guard my heart more and observe for future Christian friends ❤
I had a friendship end of 14 yrs. I did not want it to end, but ultimately God took the friendship away.
I dont know why. I love the friend. I know I was not well during this season of life.

Some count that as their foundation, but one can have a friend of 5 years that adds value to your life than of 20 years where someone is extremely toxic but we keep it because we're afraid to let go

Everything you said verbatim is where I’m at. My friend group don’t feel the same no more. They love Jesus and I know God is moving in them, but there’s a shift in me taking place and I’m starting to get uncomfortable with my old friends. I still don’t fully know what to do about this, but I will pray. I’ve been asking God to provide new friends that are going in the same direction as me.

Yep lost a great Christian friend… but my positive attitude seemed to upset her. She’s stuck in an old pattern w family and I can’t convince her to move forward toward God. I may have not provided her the constant lowly energy she wanted. She may see me as uninterested in her frustration. I know God is working on us separately. I’m ok and joyful! It's true. That's good. Keep your joy. I was talking to someone on the phone and she said she is no longer reaching out to people who don't really make the time for her. Funny enough, the Lord told me to create distance with her from the friendship.
There's nothing more exhausting than when someone doesn't respect your boundaries, and has conversations with you about things that almost sound like complaints. God would be mentioned at time but it's always things like
"I don't really like my church"
"I wish they did this better."
Or
"My ex friend this , my ex friend that."
Conversations that can sound like gossip rather than edify our spirits. She reached out lots which was nice, but I have to get around people who will grow me closer to God and not pick him as an option. That's why we have to limit people in our environment.
Confirmation for me. After a week away with a good friend who drank too much, would not give be the car keys( from another friend of ours), who let me borrow a beautiful car for the weekend, and telling me to “zip it”, and “ “ f-u”, because I was scared in the car, I looked up at the cross this Sunday in church, and the answer was revealed. I cannot grow old with this person in my life. I feel so peaceful about my decision, and never going to look back. Thank you for the confirmation.

As I get closer to God I am having to decide to let some friends go. It's sad and I feel like I'm letting these people down, but they aren't part of my journey to God. We play DND with magic and I've realized that it's not okay for me to normalize witchcraft, even if it's in a fictional world. I have had so many good times with these people and they have done nothing wrong. I just can't keep doing it with my journey closer to God. God is greater than any person I will meet in this life.

@@anastasiabeautyy1864 girl it was so hard, I cold turkey unfollowed her/ removed her as a follower. I had no peace until I did. God had placed it in my heart months prior so I knew God wanted me to. I feel like in your case remain cordial but follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to stay as far away as you can. Consider moving out or taking some time away to sit and process your life and your personal relationship with God. Its tough when youre living with them, but find time or days where you can just be out and away from the negative energy.

I saw the title of this video yesterday and I avoided it. I saw it a couple more times and I decided to give in and watch. My stomach dropped a few times with the examples you gave, especially with how the person’s character is. In the last few months, I’ve been trying to draw closer to the Lord. I know He is taking me places and showing me who may not be around for the long run. Please Lord do the separating and show me what to do, because I’m too chicken to do it by myself. 😩😖😔

It honestly is. I heard it in a sermon once that if someone leaves it's because God removed them out of your life.
Additionally, grow so much in God that you won't have to fight for connections. God will keep people he wants in our life, and those he doesn't want in your life, they'll make their exit. Life's too short. You have a Destiny and calling to live.
This is so 🔥this happened to me with a friend I had for 15 years. The spirit told me that person was never my friend, I was there and I wasn’t seeing it the whole time. And also y’all, this can apply to friends that are believers something the Lord will want you to separate from Christian friends to..the Lord showed me this about a friend. This word was 🎯

It's true. Have had friendships I invested into for years with people who are christian that walked away. The good thing though is that God will bring the right people into your life.
Sometimes too, some people try to come back, other times, it never gets rekindled. God is good. Keep moving forward. Ask God for destiny friendships. You never know where life will head. Some people who walked out of your life needed to leave. Just like Judas left. Some friendships have Judas agendas. We need the Lords wisdom.
It hurts, it really does but I know God is purposeful and intentional in all He does.

Girlllllll, I am about to run and holler. I had been talking to God about this. I have a friend who is my old roommate from college; a friendship of 35 years. I saw God pulling me away from her and replacing her with someone else. He started telling me that that friendship of 35 years, she doesn’t really value your friendship. Lord have mercy! I needed this. I had a friend for 16 years and on my 24th birthday she grossly betrayed me in ways nobody could have saw coming or imagined. For about six months prior to this, she changed. She had a man or you can call a “sugar daddy” that gave her everything she could want, and she started looking at me as if I was nothing. I started feeling super uncomfortable around her, like I was beneath her. I continued to walk with her, until God made a situation happen to where we no longer were friends. We were out of town when this happened, she flew home, and we never spoke again. She refused to talk about it. It’s been two years. My birthday was two days ago, and for some reason I still feel emotional. I wish I could just forget because she has new friends now and act so happy, and I’m still recovering from the betrayal. I was an amazing friend. I needed this video 😢

It is sad to see and it truly does hurt. I love them unconditionally but they need to repent. Not only you are the 2nd person that the Lord has got to confirm this message. The Lord says I will have this week and one more week with them and that's it. I am a 12 year old boy serving the lord Jesus and have been for almost a year now and will continue to. God has changed me and is maturing and growing me in this season and in this hour 🙏🏽✝️🤍🕊. I decree and declare the good news everyday to my brothers and sisters in Chist, read the word daily, pray and worship daily amen, but I only have 2-3 friends that are growing in christ. One is a great boy that always does the right thing in school, always obeys and listens. The other I met at baseball camp and I preached the word to him. The third is from school and has recently have his life to the Lord and is growing and developing, accelerating, and advancing in the kingdom and is turning away from sin, atleast trying to. This video presented itself at the right time after prayer for wisdom. I felt discouraged in a toxic and mentally abusive friendship that lasted for a few years while in college. Since I have introverted and shy tendancies I honestly didn't think I could do much better so I didn't make any other friends. I felt alone. Since rebuilding my relationship with God in my final year I grew from it, it's like my eyes opened in a way that they weren't before. I knew I had to close that door today and keep it closed for my safety, happiness and walk with Christ. Thank you for sharing this message.
Going through this with a guy friend right now. He was so helpful in a time of my life where I felt like I had no one else. Very genuine and supportive person. I recently found Christ and I have been trying to encourage my friend to do the same and he just hasn’t changed. I felt myself becoming frustrated with everything but I stayed close with him for so long because I felt I was judging him wrongly. Wow... As I'm watching this video I'm sitting here analyzing myself and what God has been trying to tell me. I've recently had a moment with a friend where we set aside our differences from the past. We apologized cleared everything up and everything. After that happened I thought we would go back to being how we were. Although we set aside our differences we still didn't talk as much and I feel like as I continue my relationship with Jesus I grow further from her. I do believe that we had that moment so we both don't have unforgiveness in our heart and hold grudges. And although I had intentions to try to rekindle our friendship,God has other plans. But like you said as I'm slowly letting go this friendship God is opening a new kingdom friendship for me. And my boyfriend who is a believer in Christ is already saying her and I are going to be the best of friends lol

She’s a good person but extremely emotionally draining and is not able to effectively regulate her inward and outward expression of emotion. We’ve been friends for 9 years and we fell out a few years prior because her relationship with another person was draining her and she would not let go of it. I reconnected thinking I was maybe not open or listening enough, but even my friends and family have told me to let her go for good. I’ve been thinking about it… and this video may be the final confirmation… I’m trying to get closer to God and figure out our relationship and get my life right. I can’t get it right with others constantly taking up my attention. Bless her heart and I hope she gets better, but I can’t look back.

Wow this just popped up, but I’m down to three close friends as well. I have associates but close just three. It does it lonely but God is separating for a reason. I’m not perfect and no one is, but I desire to deepen my walk with Christ. God will show you, but you have to see the signs. We want to keep people around when God is transitioning us to more and they can’t go.

Yesterday, I informed my former neo’s that we are only sisters in Christ, as I officially executed severance from the sorority that once conjoined us (headquarters has confirmed this as well🤸🏾♀️ 🙌🏾). Separation is not easy, but it is liberating and provides leverage (i.e. insight from previous experiences, access to overlooked spheres of engagement and influence) for how to engage with the community/tribe God desires for His children.

I wanted to let you know that watching this video is timely because I fell out with several people. Especially someone that I was there for. In fact, the same person that I recently fell out with, God gave me a vision that it would happen. Maybe this was God's Will that she can't be in my life's progression. On the bright side, I have found my circle of friends that fulfill God's Will for my life and have the potential to be lifelong friends.

I seem to get surrounded by people who love to push my buttons. I hate arguing!! I know there are times when you have to stand your ground and I will, however when you say, look it doesn’t matter!! That happened a long time ago; this was something this person had apologized for and about 3 months later brought the matter up and tried to blameshift the situation onto me, even though she was in the wrong and said so!! She’s told me in the past that she loves to get under my skin and that there’s no difference between somebody trying to get under someone’s skin and accidentally getting under their skin. I told her there’s a big difference between accidentally and deliberately doing something like that and she said there wasn’t. She’s not born again, and I’ve even had another person in my life who was born again who would do the same thing only not admit it. I just want like-minded individuals in my life who love Jesus, like I do!
Me too. I need Jesus loving Friends.
Some feel easily offended by my biblical based opinions and say they want my opinions but it ends up creating tension and I don’t like arguing.😢
