Ok I have to testify. I’ve been watching a few of the videos and it dawned on me last night that God saved me. When I was in college at an HBCU I was to be a Delta. The guy I was dating at the time said to me please don’t pledge. Don’t go through with it. The way he said it and something in his voice made say ok. I called the person in charge and told her I’m out. Sorry I don’t remember terminology since this was like 2005ish. Recently, in my grown age, I was like I kinda regret not pledging and maybe I can still do it. I started seeing DST plates all around town so I was like maybe it’s Gods plan for me. Then I stumbled on these videos. God saved me from so much and I just have to tell somebody. God bless you sisters that are speaking out. May His protection and promises come to fruition for you. What happened to her happened to me when I first left for the military. I fought through to stay and been sick as ever, demonic attacks, ptsd, almost lost my mind, etc. I had to rurn to Jesus and repent for fighting to stay in something he tried to keep me out of. So, this is not just a revelation for people in Sororities or fraternities, but thte military as well. If you dont have GOD in your life, you can get caught up in so much debauchery and foolishness. Thank GOD he is merciful and saved me.

I have recently been convicted to repent for my Desire alone and I’m so grateful that God cares so much for me that he let me know how this was idolatry I would have never known except for his mercy He does not want us ignorant that is amazing to me

Same! Everything happened to keep me from pledging. I wanted to be one since the mid '90s. These videos came back up because there was still a desire to do it, even though I decided I wouldn't pursue membership. I repented a couple of days ago and again today for even wanting to be affiliated with that organization. I desired it so badly, but TMH kept me from it. My GPA dropped, I didn't have the money, then my mind wasn't there because of the passing of my sister. He kept me!! I'm so grateful after hearing all these testimonials. I will keep repenting until I feel that ALL the desire has passed from me. Grateful for LaLa's obedience and the obedience of those who speak out on her platform!

See my daughter attends a HBCU she just attends the local church. I don’t want her ever feeling like she has to pledge something just to be apart of any campus activities
The mention of this not being just for divine 9 is crucial. If the Lord is leading, I would love to hear other fraternities / sororities that the Lord called people out of. I am one of those people, the Lord called me out of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, which is a legal fraternity for women and men lawyers / attorneys. The realization came when He started putting renouncement / denouncement videos of divine 9 on my RUclips timeline in 2022 and I was led to look at our pledge book. Same language I saw that was in these divine 9 ritual books. God is faithful and CALLING HIS PEOPLE OUT!! God bless you and your obedience LaLa!!
I’m so glad I didn’t go to college until I was 24 and grown GROWN. Because there’s no way I would let anyone play with me like this in college, Greek or not. 😒😒😒

The revelation that Brittnee had about sorority life being a gateway was like what Delayna Dobbins shared in a couple of videos ago about it being a gateway to the full on occult practices. I never pledged in college but I did pledge a high school sorority I actually dropped out like Brittnee did during the pledging process and I also had to repent because of my desire to pledge this sorority and my desire to pledge a college sorority I never did but I see now how God kept me from these organizations I had many older family members that made me feel like I was missing out on the sisterhood and it all looked so cool and a privilege but God really kept me and I thank him
That is how you know God's spirit is with you. The Holy Spirit will make you have a "sense of repulsion" toward evil. when I get that "feeling," I know something is wrong, and I get out.
When you draw close to God, He draws close to you, and you get a hedge of protection. It's a wonderful feeling. Then that whisper gets louder and you realize it was the "voice of God" guiding you. Mediate on God's word. Read scripture daily and pray frequently. we are fighting supernatural forces. so wear your armor.

Thank you for this video. I pledged a divine 9 sorority back in 1996 and I dropped about 10 days before they crossed. Back then I didn't understand why I was dropping. I thought it was for one reason and watching this video I realize it was God saving me. I remember when I dropped I was told that if I don't finish this I would never finish anything else in my life and I have been carrying those words for a long time.
This series came at the right time. So thank you for you both for your obedience.

Yes Idolatry, covenants oaths and how God feels about the things we put before him when he said I will have no other gods before him. This country breeds idolatry and teaches it from birth because we had no idea what it looks like

La! You are on point with this series! Britnee is telling the truth! I went to a HBCU and the choir on our campus had an organization. There were lots of “greek organizations” on campus.
Then, some people who pledged the choir organization had pledged the sweethearts ( kappa, sigma, alpha angels ) and then the real D9 sororities. This is freshman year. So, you have people pledging almost their whole undergraduate years. It’s a bad obsession on certain HBCU campuses. It is a horrible trend that needs to stop.
This is so true! You have to pledge everythingggg at an HBCU, even things that are totally made up. You can’t just join something bc you like it. At my school they were even pledging people who wanted to join the NAACP! Smh

I was a freshman in 2001 at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. I wanted to be a Delta because my Godmother is a Delta. Millersville only had Alpha and Kappas. My friend and I heard about the Alpha Angels organization. We went to a meeting t learn more about their organization. We both decided to go on line. Once on line we were isolated from others. We could only go to class then back to our dorm room. When we wanted to eat we had to get our food and take it back to our dorm room. We could not walk across the grass we had to walk the long way around. We could not ride the elevator or have condiments on our food. One late night we all get a phone call t come outside. It was one of the Alpha men and and Alpha Angel. They told us we were being punished for the acts of one line sister. We got in the car and went to pick her up. We were told to say thanks K every time she talked. She had no clue she was the reason we were being punished. They took us to and apartment and locked us in cages. They put one girl in the trunk. They made another girl ride a bike with no wheels on it. Me and two of my friends dropped the line. I dropped first. I wanted to go home to see my boyfriend and was told I was not allowed. That was the end of being on line for me. Shorty after I dropped two of my friends dropped. They told me they were forced to eat dog food and the big sister smashed eggs on their. I thank Yahuah that He saved me from continuing on that road. Yahuah saved me from the doors of hell. All praises and glory to Yahuah.
I am not in a sorority. But I am going through the exact same thing in a group I'm a part of. I was wondering why I was watching this video. Then I started to see strikingly exact same scenarios. Just this morning, The Lord told me I had to get out of that group. And I must admit. I was hesitant. But not anymore!!!! Thank you Britnee for sharing!

Absolutely sis protect your spiritual well being. Whomever we align ourselves with in life have either a negative or positive attachment to us in the spirit realm. Friends that I found out were into the occult I could not longer associate with them. Pray for their deliverance and move forward on your journey with God.

It’s crazy how God will bring things back up. I went to TU and pledged GSS. When I look back it was so many signs not to do it and I still did it. I haven’t been active but I for sure denounced with no hesitation. Thanks for sharing Brittnee ❤

Awesome testimony! The Lord told me no before I even got started looking into it. Prayed about it, and he instantly said No!! Listening to you all, I am glad I obeyed.
I had always had issues with "trying to fit in" when I was growing up too. I wanted people to like me and wanted to be accepted, which allowed me to pursue any sorority that would accept me, but God shut it down each and every time. I was on line for a business sorority back in 2010, but got dropped. I actually did cross in a sorority a few years ago, but was confronted by God. He told me that I had to choose between Him and the sorority so I chose God and denounced the sorority the very same night. I even tried to get into a christian sorority but that didn't go well either. 😊
We need to get some testimonies for our non-black/POC brothers and sisters too! They need to be aware also. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yes!!! Cus I know Latin frats/sororities are very similar to black Greek. I’m not sure about white ones, but I know they can’t be good either.

The whites are as well. They are Greek which means derived from Greek culture of the gods. Im not sure they continue the same drive after college. I also would like to hear about non- black TV shows, actors, and entertainment artist

Same here! I wanted to become a Delta so bad, but I was blocked from doing so. Couldn’t even go to one interest meeting. But I thank God for that. Whole time He was protecting me. 🙏🏾

These testimonies are so great Lala! Although I didn’t pledge, I can relate to Brittnee’s testimony.
One thing I’ve learned is that a lot of this “black culture” is straight demonic. Pastor G. Craig Lewis preaches on it. Just cus it’s black and steeped in culture, does not make it right, more importantly doesn’t make it holy.
This black history month I don’t even have the desire to celebrate. That’s a lot coming from a former black caucus president and loved all things black culture. I’m glad God is waking all of His children UP
I am so glad she shared her story. Being around the wrong people can literally cost you your health, and possibly your life. The more I hear about this Gamma Sigma Service Sorority, the more I am shocked and disgusted. I am glad she followed the voice of God.

I never joined a sorority but from some movies it seemed like a fun sisterhood I’d want. Now I am so thankful I never joined one. I learned from others stories they’re not something I’d want to attach myself to. I thought you’d make lifelong friends, have fun parties, and the people are kind. Now it seems scary! lol
God sets his chosen ones apart and remove them from the snares of the enemy. Her sickness was symbolic; she was about to cast her pearls(gift from God) amongst swines. Matthew 7:6 Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine. What a testimony !!!!

This blessed me. I wanted to be a delta so so bad,but every time I tried I just couldn’t do it. I felt lame but I now know that was nothing but God. I have a few friends who is still part of these organizations. I tried to tell them what God told me to and I got crucified, and he is a preacher. Nevertheless, I’m still praying for them. I pledged in high school and repented, but I didn’t consider it a big deal until this video. I had to pause the video and repent again bc when she mentioned the “apple” thing which was really an onion, I had to do the same thing when I pledged in high school. I honestly thought because it was high school and you were “out” after graduation, it really wasn’t a big deal. In retrospect, everything we did in high school was learned from a D9 because the one I was in pretty much considered themselves the “AKA’s” of high school. It’s so crazy how we were pretty much being groomed as early as 14 years old. Not to mention, hazing took place at their houses and I recall some of the parents being in D9 so they were cool with it. Probably were even proud😢. Thank God for His grace! ❤️🙏🏾
My exact story. We had a "process" for my High School step team. It was definitely grooming for joining Greek Organizations

Pledging the choir? What in the world?
We need to teach our children to say no to being hazed, whether it's a Greek group, a choir, or any other group. I remember as an undergrad thinking that it was stupid to let somebody be brutal to me just to get into a group. I have not changed my mind. As an undergrad, I joined a D9 organization, which I have since left, and soon after I made line, some in the chapter started making noises about an underground process, since above ground lines had already been outlawed by nationals. Right from the start, I made it clear that I would be limiting my activities to things consistent with the regulations outlined by the national organization. It was known that I would not be participating in set. Was I "just paper"? 100%. And I did not care. I knew that some people would be friendly towards me, and others would not. I did not need "friendship" (I put it in quotes on purpose) from anybody who felt like they needed to mistreat me in order to accept me. Besides that, this group is national and that meant there were thousands of other women with whom I could establish friendships, if the ones on campus didn't want to acknowledge me because they didn't get to haze me. Once I learned about the demonic influences in the D9 group I'd joined, I denounced.
As a mom, I have spoken with my immediate family and other family members about why Christians don't belong in D9 groups. But as a result of this video, I will also have conversations about why we must be on the lookout for hazing in other groups and make sure to not tolerate hazing from ANY group, for ANY reason. It would never have occurred to me that groups like choir or community service groups would also haze, but the reality is that any group whose members don't walk with Christ is prone to having foolery and ungodly behaviors be part of what the group members do. I would also encourage my young person to make the professor and the dean of affairs aware of people being told they need to be "on line" just to be in the campus choir.
This is so powerful. Thank you both for your obedience. I crossed and have since renounced, however there were warnings that I ignored during my process, had I listened it would have saved me so much. Praise God!!
Amen!!!!!!!!! I definitely need to share my story because I didn’t think I really had a story to tell because I never did cross. Oh but the things that God kept me from!!!!!!! Mercy!!!!!!! Thank you God for keeping me from crossing and wanting to be in any of those organizations.
Used to be envious of HBCUs and these sororities/frats because as a South African our universities had none of that. We did have societies though, based on our passions and line of work we were studying for. You just signed up and there was no pledging ritual drama. No dance routines either (main source of the envy). This series and a couple movies I'd watched prior took me from envy to gratitude in a Jo'burg minute.
My Skegee sister, thank you for sharing your testimony. I witnessed a roommate who went through a lot with GSS. She literally had to hide from them and we had to cover for her. When I saw that I questioned the whole Greek life. I still had blinders on and wanted to belong in a sorority. I thank God for revealing me the truth and kept me away from it.

Soo I am not much of a commenter but it is amazing to see all of these videos. I saw you on my feed and immediately recognized your face. I went to UH and was actually trying to become a delta. This was around end of 08 beginning of 09. I have my own testimony about all of that and would love to share with you one day. Just thankful God has brought you out of all this. Love the series and can relate to all these stories on so many levels. At the end of it all we were all searching for something that only the LORD could fulfill. Praise God!!!

I wanted to press in on a particular aspect that Dalayna brought up a few videos ago. Growing up as a Christian we think we can do anything and we are still close to the lord because we talk about him ..... And sadly no. Thats not how that works. So i wanted to clarify that yes Brittnee may had been familiar with the lord but she was not close to him. Because that would be mixing the holy with the profane. The reason why she was able to hear the lords warnings was because of his grace. Not because of their relationship or closeness. I had to learn that about myself and God also. I strayed way too far and found myself in foolishness and it was God's grace as to why he warned me and even chose to speak to me in my unrighteousness. Because he is holy he cannot be around that or inhabit your temple.

I loved this! I’m so happy I never pledged in college but I definitely will be denouncing the way I was lusting after pledging because I lacked self identity THEN!! I know who God is NOW so I have to make sure God knows how remorseful I am for ever putting other idols before him. I also was in a sorority in highschool that was based on community service and went through a process of humiliation and getting talked to any type of way. My children are two TU grads and were band, Marching Crimson Pipers, MCP. You are right, meeting at night in the woods, Haha. They had the time of their lives! My daughter was protected because my son was KKPsi and a year ahead of her. She had a group of "play" Uncles who kept her protected from upper classman. So, he did his crab years, but she had fun doing hers under protection. She is a Zeta and played clarinet. He played tuba which was "Tuba Funk." I loved coming down to Tuskegee for Homecoming or Parent's Weekend. NO BODY can step better than Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Fraternity. But the HAZING has to STOP and TU's President, who is a Delta, knows this is going on. The band director, the choir director, the director of student affairs, they ALL KNOW HAZING is going on at TU. And the Campus police KNOW EXACTLY what's going on!!!
I never pledge but these testimonies are for me and others who did not pledge. We have family members who are Greek and still are. They need to denounce and renounce. I definitely don't want to marry anyone in any free masonic lodge.

Divine 9 is the title of the nine historically black greek greek organizations: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity.
Line is the group of selected people that are going through the initiation process for the organization.
Paper means you did not have a pledging process that involved mental (and sometimes) physical abuse.
Set is the name of the meeting where the pledging process takes place. The selected people are mentally (and sometimes) physically beat by the people that are already apart of these organizations.
That choir was straight up DEMONIC. Im sorry that you had to go through that. You was young so you didn't fully understand. I pray to God that it has changed for the sake of their souls.

The organizations of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. (NPHC) are committed to nurturing the ideals of sisterhood and fraternalism in an atmosphere of responsibility and respect. We are also committed to upholding the dignity and self-respect of all persons seeking membership therein. Hazing is antithetical to this commitment and is prohibited by the rules of each NPHC organization. God gives us choices and its not a gateway for everyone I was a member of TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY GOLDEN VOICES CONCERT CHOIR and I did not do Devine 9. Everyone takes their experience differently. So I'm happy you feel you found that freedom but like I said dont make it seem like it was all evil. I have life long friendships and brothers and sisters no one beat me, no one talked down to me and I was in choir for a long time so..... yeah to each their own. And I I'm a child of GOD.

While we may be born into sin are we not all covered by the blood of Jesus and therefore not saved by works but by the blood of the lamb ( Jesus ) if we in fact cling by and abide to the Holy Spirit which we now have access to because Jesus died for us ?
So I guess my question is aren’t we all saved in a way because of Jesus ? Even though of course we still have to follow the will of God and the Holy Spirit ? I would quote Bible scripture but I’m at work 😂.

Hello 👋🏽! This is Brittnee. I am the one who was being interviewed in this video. Sorry for the misunderstanding but I was just joking when I said “I feel like I’ve been saved from the womb.” I do indeed believe that all people are born in sin & have to repent for their sins, then accept Christ into their hearts as Lord & Savior over their life. I received Christ into my life as my personal Lord and Savior at the age of 5 years old.
I was joking about being “born saved” because of the fact that I was born on Sunday and have been apart of the church ever since I was a little girl. So again I apologize for any misunderstanding about my phrasing but I was only saying that as a joke. I hope this brings clarity and thank you for watching my testimony. Have a blessed day 😊!
