I love when the host asked “What’s wrong with falling in love?” And the man of God said “When you fall in, you can fall out. Love is a decision.” That challenges every thing we’ve been taught about how love starts and grows.

This was really good and it made a lot of sense. I don’t consider myself “Christian” but I was talking to a mentor that knew this about me and I told her that I wanted to get married and she said “why do you want to get married if you’re not Christian?” I was confused then laughed then thought she was hating 😂😂😂 but now I see I was lost all along. He is absolutely right we want our own version of it … that’s why it’s not working. We have become a society that tries to adjust the universe to fit us instead of adjusting to fit what is already written. Powerful lesson!!!! Masterful 👏🏾🙌🏾❤

People used to tell me I was crazy because I would “scare” them EXCEPT for the married people I knew and then my husband found me! The conversations we had, the time we spent getting to know each other before dating. Met March 2020, started dating May 2020, engaged December 2021 and and got married November of last year! Is anyone on this panel married? I was married and divorce twice. I had a lot to learn but I got it now friends. Its all about communication, me resting in my womenhood and feeling safe enough to trust my husband. Its sooo deep friends. That didnt happen. Marriage is amazing and sent from God! Its nothing to play with or take lightly. Be blessed yall in these streets. In the Bible that’s the only relationship that is spoken of.

There is a message for younger women that is relevant and older women that is relevant. You’re not marrying vision over 40; you’re marrying value and sharing vision as you grow old together.

A woman watching and piping in… what a great podcast. I have been all over the spectrum with a 10 yr, 7 yr, 3yr, two 1 yr relationships and many casual and what I have realized is love is a decision daily. I agree not everyone is meant for marriage or not ready for it now. There is nothing wrong with being where you are at. Just make yourself more valuable personally during that time. I am intentional now but even when I wasn’t I always looked for honesty at where you are at. When I needed to be free I looked for the guy that was up front and honest and in the same place. For me personally I know God wants me to be married so now i have to be healed . during this time single I have to start being a wife. I also agree a woman shouldn’t search for a man. A man should pursue. A woman can’t submit to a man that she is having to carry. Neither party will feel at peace and feel respect in this position. Also want to say there is a misconception about all women looking for a expensive date. My favorite dates were walking at a park, hiking, off roading or just driving and seeing where the road takes you. Don’t take me to the movies until at least 3 dates in. Keep up the good work you are doing

We obsess with the institution of marriage, and still cannot get it right! I agree marriage, is not for everyone. Why cannot we preach alternatives as well. There are many living their lives healthy, and happy without marriage, and not a damn thing wrong with them. Look, we need to stop this obsession with marriage! You happen to have it, make it work! This guest, is speaking from the Bible that's great! Love that. Too many on RUclips, voicing about marriages and relationships, some fake and some Google knowledge it! Too many fakers flying around. We have to use our own judgements and common senses. You mentioned marriages, not about love, that it is a part of it, but it mainly about partnership. Yes, that's so important, but does that mean if love, dies, ignore the situation and still hang in there for tge sake of partnership? ❤

God indeed didn't call every man and women to marriage because it's a calling with a certain grace that sustains marriage. Hence why not all men are called to be husbands and not all women are called to be wives.

Also I think his answer to “what about a man that doesn’t see the value in marriage do?” Was so spot on … it needs to be played on repeat. No one should have to convince you or prove to you that marriage is valuable! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 you either Believe or you don’t! I think many ppl miss that …. There is a man that should not get married .. more men need to decide which side of the fence they want to be on and stop confusing everyone ….of course there are some women that should not as well but all this talk trying to make it fit our ideas that’s what’s really messing up the Union and value … it’s not the marriage it’s the ppl in it and reality that’s been the problem all along!!

Cheating is not the only factor in today relationship! Baggage, brokenness, toxicity and just plain out disrespect and boyish actions of a man whom believe he’s mature! No financial conversation, no building and just one person carrying the weight ! Meaning there could never be any wealth building as life itself it to expensive to live! Reading, research, maturity and discipline is the start to achieving and attracting the right energy!

That was a great episode! What I feel we need to be reminded of more, the purpose, importance and value of marriage! When dating know yourself first ( values, mission, vision) so you know what to look for in a spouse and know what fits with you. Like a puzzle. Date with purpose and be intentional in getting to know someone’s mind and heart. Don’t marry vision, marry values. Marry someone who will add value to your life and can build with. Build as a team.
Our world is dating wrong and broken marriages show it. This was a breadth of fresh air.

Of all the 20 plus podcasts of hardly initiated that I have watched this is the one I most connect with! Your guest pretty much described me and my thoughts! I felt as though I was in church and the pastor was speaking to me in sermon! It was very refreshing to listen to a strong Black man that actually got me! I find that not many men get me! “I want to be led but do not want to loose myself in being led”! I am very strong and independent by force not choice! To know me is to understand me! To hear this man speak exactly how I feel and how I am at this point in my life is extremely rewarding! So I am grateful to have taken time to find and listen to this podcast! I will look him up and follow for sure! By the way hardly initiated is the best podcast on RUclips and I also appreciate what you young men are doing for us as a people! Hearing different perspectives are very important for us as a people! Most are centered around remaining spiritually grounded and I appreciate that! Thanks again for all you do! 🙏🏾❤️✊🏾👌🏾👍🏾🔥🙏🏾☺️

#word, he just nailed it, we the women who have gotten ourselves together, yes we do want to be led, but not at the cost of losing ourselves or being diminished. The first thing we encounter is when they see you are well put, and know what you desire, they try to diminish your values and thoughts. Its like you being written off with this masculine vs feminine. 🤦🏿‍♀️

God designed me to move a husband and his kingdom forward...that man will seek and find me soon. I want him to know that I exist and that I am increasing my value to be his greatest asset, more value than rubies as stated in Proverbs 31:10. I want him to know that God tucked me deep into his heart space for this reason...because he is worth it, and I am worth it. I am a part of his inheritance from the Lord Almighty and I am waiting and ready to be found. I declare this decree in Jesus' name. Amen

This conversation is on point and very necessary, but it takes a lot of wisdom, life experience or self awareness to reach this point. I’m not sure how many 25 and 30 year olds are ready for marriage based on this criteria (which is to some degree why there are so many divorces).

I loved this episode too, but this is great to see which of your guest speakers, speak to certain viewers. This speaker and Ken Canion I resonate mentally with. I feel inspired and I felt like I learned something

The most simple things in life are the best in life. The things people take for granted are the things I appreciate most. The park, free things like the zoo, anything just to show genuine interest of me goes sooooo far!!! ❤❤

Very good episode. One thing in my opinion is that I really don’t want a man to choose to Love me. I want him to have such a connection with me that he can’t help but love me.

Wow I just came across your site and the title interest me, so I decided to listen in. I was so bless to hear this brother breaking down all the aspects of marriage, The real value of what marriage is how you should ask the right questions and be more eager to really know the core of the person. It was such a breath of fresh air because usually women are having these conversations and rarely do you hear a group of men having these deep conversations. We as women are so easy to expose our souls but men are so different when it comes to things that may seem to put them in a vulnerable state. I enjoyed this session and it gave me also tools in really investing in men that want to have these conversations. Unfortunately I been dealing with the ones that should definitely stay single.

This guy said the best advice I've heard so far of all your guests that you have had on HI. He said"The woman fears that the man will just be a ceiling but not a catalyst. She doesn't want to loose herself in him . Whew! That hit it on the head!

After 1-2 lunch/dinner dates a park or hike date is a requirement for me. It tells me so much about the person physically, mentally, emotionally, hiw a man handles fatigue and uncomfortable situation responses, etc
