Everyone wasn’t made to be married. Singleness is a gift. There was a group of people in bible that had no sexual drive and they were to remain single. If you have no desire that’s a gift and singleness is your station in life. If you’re burning in lust then marriage is the ideal. If you remain single then you have more time for God and His kingdom and a singleminded desire with no distraction to please The Lord.
This is profound. I have been single for 10years, and I have suffered the stigma attached to singleness. I have written a book, to be launched in September, titled Single And Standing. Its an encouragement and testament of what i went through the temptations challenges etc but i overcame them all. Just because you are single does not mean you wont make it, you can be Single And Standing

In church, we rush people to become couples when they have not developed as singles. Yes, I have said this for years. I grew up in a church that focused so much on fornication that college students were leaping into marriage so that they would not sin. I often wonder how many of those couples are still married today but not only that, how many of them married because God joined them together and not bc they felt compelled to meet the needs of the flesh.

Me too. Married to a man that refused to leave and cleave. His parents, friends job church all came before means our kids. Then he left saying you are good woman but not the woman for me. Said he wanted someone with no standards. And left and cut ties with me and our kids. Oh we met in church too. I could marry again but I ask myself why would I want to. Wives have to submit even to foolishness and I’m free.
I became single in 2021 after losing my husband of 46 years. It has been a struggle because I am not use to being alone but I know I'm never alone with God. This message touched my soul. I'm a life coach and therapist coming out of divorce number 3 that nearly took me out. I just didn't want to feel the enormous pain I endured. I just watched this sermon spoke directly to my spirit. I'm 35 and single. God is taking me on a journey. For the past 2 years this word right here has became alive in my life a working progress. I'm super excited about my future. When the time is right I WILL be the helper he created me to be.

God doesn't call people to be celibate. However, you can choose to be celibate.

Me too. Married to a man that refused to leave and cleave. His parents, friends job church all came before means our kids. Then he left saying you are good woman but not the woman for me. Said he wanted someone with no standards. And left and cut ties with me and our kids. Oh we met in church too. I could marry again but I ask myself why would I want to. Wives have to submit even to foolishness and I’m free.
I became single in 2021 after losing my husband of 46 years. It has been a struggle because I am not use to being alone but I know I'm never alone with God. This message is an inspiration to me and even though I am not looking for anyone I believe in having a relationship with someone that God sends in his own time.. Thank you for giving me the encouragement to be me and not changing for any future relationship because life goes on..

And because of my faith and focus, a great man or two that’s “worthy” has come into my life. This message touched my soul. I'm a life coach and therapist coming out of divorce number 3 that nearly took me out. I just didn't want to feel the enormous pain I endured. After 1 year and a half of therapy and coaching, I'm finally feeling whole. I'm aware of the value of my singleness and am ready to receive whatever God has for me. I'm walking God's favor as a healthy Christian who happens to be single. I am active and attractive. I don't feel lonely or think much about being single. It is what it is. I'm just trying to live my best life. If a man comes along in step and compliments me, we can walk hand in hand. Either way, my eyes are up and focused on Jesus.
