  • If you've owned a boat long enough, you've probably experienced some rot. We've put off replacing this floor for years, but the rot has gotten to the point where it's dangerous for passengers. This video will walk you through the 1st step in the process of replacing your boat floor (boat floor removal). Take care to protect your lungs by using a respirator and make sure to look up any additional safety issues with removing your particular floor (such as asbestos). I hope this helps you see what it takes to start the process of replacing a boat floor. If you have any questions, please comment below. Peace and God bless!

Very Nice... I have a 21 ft deck boat that I need to do this to. Fun times ahead!

Looking forward to the rest of this project. I’m going to take it on next year with my ‘86 Hurricane Sundeck 196.

I have been letting it dry out and I wanted to have a place to keep it dry once it was repaired. I finally got a covering solution and am starting to work on it today!! Hope to have the following videos coming soon!

@@JenniferRutter-hc6np I got you, yeah people who get boats have no idea how important it is to at least cover the boat

So important! We had ours under a carport for over a decade and it was in great condition. Then we moved and had to keep it in the back yard. After a couple years, it was falling apart!
