Easy way to remove boat carpet

Did you find the electric scraper took more wood than you wanted taken out? I've got a 2004 aluminum jon i want to re carpet. Removal has been my deterent. Thx

Shouldn't you coat that floor for water protection before you lad down the new carpet

Use a buffer with a 60 Grit sand paper

Or you could just pour gasoline on all the carpet let it sit for 5 minutes and it just pulls right off.
