I have been working on boats since I was 19, in Counce Tennessee on the Pickwick lake. It’s a huge transit stop, and a big time summer vacation spot. I decided to start my own detailing business after being let go end of season by a guy I was helping. Right before Christmas. So 2022 Alanah’s Overboard Cleaning and Detail was born, and I am soooooo grateful for your videos. If I ever feel like I want to learn more before providing a service your videos are where I go. You have seriously helped me so much. I enjoy the work, and hopefully I can continue to grow and learn! Don’t stop what you do, there are no other people out here that come close to being as informative and helpful as you are on boat detail.
3M is the fakest filler on the market for swirls and scratches. You’ll think, man that looks good and then on the next wash…BAM every swirl and scratch comes right back. I’ll pick Shine Supply over that junk any day of the week.

This is such an informational video, thank you! I have been using Shine Supply products to polish and maintain my boat for several years, but yet still learned a ton from your video. I have one question, can you tell me how you clean out your wool pad, yellow pad, and orange CCS pad both during use (if you do at all), as well as when you're all finished with the job?
Thanks! You can’t really “clean” the foam ones, you pretty much just use those ones until they are gone. The wool ones, you can use a pad spur to fluff them up in between passes. After a job, you can then wash them with warm water, then put it back on the buffer and really crank up the buffer and fling all the water out. It works pretty good! m.ruclips.net/video/PJx2PXG8VU4/видео.html

Amazing! I just brought home a new used 22’ Caparral. I want to get it detailed . Some light oxidation that can be removed by hand but machine to get the wet look of your impressive detail job. The boat is white and Yellow gelcoat with moderate decals. What would a detail typically cost for 22’ roughly 75 percent less oxidation. Interior is almost perfect (2006). Thank you for sharing the mind blowing transformation! Again if you could ballpark a thorough detail? I’m in Idaho and only very clean fresh water lake. Thank you again!!!!
Chop chop is definitely going to be more aggressive than Marina 400. Heavy cut is right up there on par with our deck 600. Me personally, I’d rather use shine supply heavy cut.
Those spots typically don’t get done, unless the customer is specifically paying for it. If they are paying extra for it, then it will need to be taken to a marina and lifted off of the trailer and put up on Jack stands
Recent subscriber, I think you already know this but this video was a banger of a transformation. Have me wondering if I can haul mine in from Georgia to get the treatment.

When I used some crappy thin gloves and tore them and got that stuff on my hand. And the time I did it with the boat in the garage without enough ventilation. You don’t want to be breathing this stuff.
For a boat that hasn't been in the water for yrs. That 23 sticker looks good. You guys did a great job on the boat!
Thanks!! 👍
Looks amazing!! What if the new owner hangs it in a boathouse? Isn't there gonna be some awful stripes from it not being lifted off the trailer?
Stopes from what? Oxidation?
@@DrakesDetailing Where the boat rests on the trailer, will there be oxidation on that part of the hull ? thanks for the reply.
Oops just read the description!! Cali!! Hello from Boston East Coast!!
Hello from Cali!
That is incredible, beautiful, thanks for sharing
Thank you! Cheers!
That’s Insane! Excellent job Gentlemen

Hell of a job. Wonderful
Thanks!
This came out amazing. Too bad your not out by me. I’d hire ya! Great work!
Thanks 👍
More people need to see this work it’s excellent ❤a person can definitely learn from this Pro on this video I am most likely to refer a friend to this channel
I appreciate that! 😎🔥
Awesome job! Who's the artist of the track playing during the final shots? Thanks.
Hey bro, thanks! Honestly have no clue who the artist is, just picked what RUclips had available to use 😂
Man you killed the job I’ll give it a 10out of 10 boat came out super amazing
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey bro! It’d be around 1k.
Fantastic job and video.. thank you, Sir!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Such a sweet looking boat too! Awesome work!
Thanks a bunch! 🔥🔥😎
Killer job, wish you lived in Miami to do my boat.
Thanks bro! 🔥🔥
Great video, thank you. Question - What does/did this exact service cost?
I believe this job was around $2,500
You will never be without work, incredible result. ❤
Wow, thank you for the kind words!
Turned out amazing!
Thanks man!
How does the chop top compare to menzerna 400? and how does the heavy cut compare to ardex 600? Any preference as far as working with it?
Chop chop is definitely going to be more aggressive than Marina 400. Heavy cut is right up there on par with our deck 600. Me personally, I’d rather use shine supply heavy cut.
That’s one hell of a good job. I wish you guys lived here in South Dakota so you could do my truck.
😎🔥🔥
This is absolutely amazing! What do you do about the places you can't get to where the boat is resting on the trailer?
Those spots typically don’t get done, unless the customer is specifically paying for it. If they are paying extra for it, then it will need to be taken to a marina and lifted off of the trailer and put up on Jack stands
Recent subscriber, I think you already know this but this video was a banger of a transformation. Have me wondering if I can haul mine in from Georgia to get the treatment.
Haha! If you can get it here I can do it! 😎
