This was a good experience. Many of them were very receptive. Some not so much. I find comparison with dogs is a good getaway to breakthrough the speciesist mindset.

Welcome to the video were the host gets triggered much more and gets more annoying as the debate progresses.
Humans and dogs have a history by biology to stay and hunt as a partner, we had bad history of cast and religion doesnt justify that the "dog" history is same too. If its same for you then as we overcame the cast and women stuff, maybe we will start eating dogs then, slowly change mentality spread awareness and eat dogs too? for now we dont eat it and that is the socitial fact, for now we dont like China, pakistan and its a fact that can change, this doesnt mean you will jump ship and start debate about pakistani or turrorust are humans too, they have rights too... not the same.
the value in society is also ranked by its status, and believe it or not, that is how evolution has worked. things eat things. things save things that are useful to them in other ways, there are biology co existing with eachother and eating other biology together. thats is literally how it works. eating a dog is bu**load of nonsense by host.
      > a chicken cant guard a house
      > a chicken cant protect your young ones
      > a chicken arguably wont be preferred by people to have as a stress relief or a family member/
      > a chicken cant guide a blind person around the city
      > a chicken cant be used in arctic to pull the sled
      > a chicken doesnt entertain nor does it love you
I can yapp all the day, does the host hear himself? I am sure he cut parts where he got slapped by a proper argument. people are just shy or considerate because you are in position of interviewer. once there is a guy/girl who can talk back you will be destroyed out of world.
If you call humans hypocrite (which they humbly accepted) and push them enough, they wont give 2 sh about dog, you kill dog as a collateral to chickens? go ahead, we will eat chicken no matter what.
Indians dont eat beef, its the socitial choice, others do eat beef, we aint running around world saving cows. islam dont eat pork, they aint running all around the world to stop pork, if you dont eat meat then SHU* TF UP AND SIT DOWN

This is something I have heard many people say, as one lady said, I decided to stop eating meat "out of compassion for animals.". But ... listen, but what is the reason they say after that ... "Some others asked us at that time, do not plants also have life, so eating plants, then that is not cruelty.!!?", So when the question came we got bent and we couldn't change the food cycle, so we decided to continue the meat eating habit that we wanted to stop out of compassion, why didn't they choose plants even though they were confused by that question,Why have eating animals that cry out in pain, and not comparing them to plants that not feel pain, not scream, and turns directly back to eating meat!!!!. The only answer is taste, plants can't feel pain or cry out because it is non sentient, so you have to understand and give up eating animals.Instead, stop making lame excuses for your taste. They get that realisation of what other animals go through mid way in the conversation and they've already given the response for any excuse and now they can't use it again which puts them in a dilemma and makes them think deeply.

Veganism, while well-intentioned, may have inadvertently hindered the broader cause of animal welfare. A more effective approach would be to promote vegetarianism as an initial step, allowing people to gradually transition towards veganism. By taking incremental steps, such as first eliminating meat consumption, society can more easily adapt to dietary changes. For instance, if dairy products were suddenly banned, many people would likely abandon the movement altogether. This gradual approach explains why India has historically promoted vegetarianism rather than veganism. Unfortunately, many vegans adopt an extreme and radical stance, seemingly more concerned with virtue signaling than employing logical strategies to slowly shift society. A more measured approach would first encourage widespread vegetarianism before advocating for complete veganism.

Of course there can be ethical killing, just ask Arjuna. The entire Bhagavad Gita discusses theses things. Whether you choose to agree with the commentary of Ramanuja, Shankaracharya, or Abhinavagupta, etc, this topic is not contested at it's root. A house holder who's dharma is to protect his family has the duty to kill an intruder who threatens to kill them. Per the Shiva Purana, one who does not kill this attacker, and thus choses to stand against their dharma, commits the greatest of sins, equal to that of killing a brahmin. Killing animals for food is different thing, with a different argument, but it just seemed like this idea of killing in general was in question. I am a vegetarian, but that has nothing to do with the above. You are great for making people consider these moral implications. 🔱

People who call other people hypocrites for eating chickens and caring for dogs are such retards. A dog is a emotionally evolved domesticated animal that actually reciprocates the love it gets. You have to understand that Veganism is totally NOT practical at all.

"It's a morally grey area" is a common way for people to attempt to justify the abuse of others, for personal gain. Animal abuse should not be a morally grey area.

very easy and very straightforward answer is that we always choose a higher life form between 2
if we hold a gun to a man and ask him to kill a man or a Hen he will kill that hen
if mosquitos or any lizard come into our house we don't let them live over there, why?, because we choose ourselves (higher life form ) over them. i can easily discuss these points and can also convince him that killing chickens and even dogs is not a big thing for a human it is just about the individual moral. if you read history Sapiens remove entire species of many animals either in Australia or America otherwise we would not have survived

I ate chicken only 1 time. I felt so bad that I ate someone who was killed without a choice. I could sense the fear they must have felt before getting killed because animals can sense that.
i never ate non veg after that. I fed a lot of stray animals (cows , dogs , pigeons etc) as a way of remorse. I'll never ever in my life eat non veg.

@@rohithborra9435 why are you so dumb?? a person in coma is abnormal codition and many times even they can feel emotions because we have centralised nervous system and with the help of certain hormones we can feel emotions but in plants, those hormones and their receptors are absent which means they can never feel anything happening to them according to the medical science. what you are saying is complete speculation like plants can have emotions but in different way, its same kind of statement like '' i think alens exist but we do not have evidence because we are finding them with our perspective of aliens ''. you should speak on facts with reference to the research done by scientists and it should be accepted by medical science.
