That Jawa wasn't an old motorcycle. A local automaker Mahindra has the rights to Jawa currently and they make them in India. It's exported to a few European countries too. Slightly similar to Royal Enfield.
Jawa was originally Ja and Wa two Czech engineers in the1940s. A Bangalore company started assembling it in India in the late 1950s and carried on till late 1990s. Mahindra took the rights and now manufacture Jawa and recently BSA also under group company Classic Legends

Karnataka is home to 3 tibetan settlements, Bylakuppe being the most famous. It's home to a pretty sizeable population of tibetans whose grandparents generation came from Tibet. They fled to neighboring India during the CCP invasion of tibet. The Indian government granted plots of land to the newly arrived refugees in different parts of India (Dharamsala in north India being the most famous). So tibetan presence in Karnataka is since the early 1960s. Bangalore is a magnet for all Indians bevause of the climate and the opportunities ( many tech companies & start ups).
If you are Tibetan people, you leave China and live in India, just become a Indian people peaceful live here. Nowadays China become diversity ethnicity included the Tibetan, therefore they become Chinese, Indian and Chinese peaceful development, I understand India also want become ila amazing country in future just like China.

Jawa and Yezdi which are Czech Bikes have been acquired by some Indian company and being manufactured in India since many Indians had Jawa and Yezdi bikes back in the 60s 70s and 80s and there's a nostalgia about them in India. My father too had one in the 70s and 80s and he explored India on that in his youth especially Sikkim, Darjeeling and Bhutan.

As a Banglorean I can tell you that Bangalore up until 20yrs ago was very beautiful. It had not grown in size like today. It was green, clean and beautiful. May be Andy was staying in the places, which was then outskirts of Bangalore. Well, IT boom happened, people from all over the country migrated, local authorities didnt know how to handle. Poor urban development of the surrounding area, towns and villages which became part of Bangalore. Banglore is all dirty now. We have lost our lakes and our green cover. Very unfortunate.

As they grow up to teens and young adults they continue being affectionate with their brothers and other close friends. It usually wears off around late 20s. By 30s men aren’t affectionate with each other. You never see old men affectionate like that with other old men.

Of course India has its positives, I never tire of telling Europeans how it is a unique place for them to visit at least once in their lives, if only to experience a culture so rich and so vastly different from theirs. But to only paint it as good is also doing a disservice to our country. Expectations should be tempered with reality, and the reality of both India in general and Bengaluru in particular are plain for all to see. How the infrastructure is crumbling under undue pressure placed on it by unregulated private corpos, how the corrupt politics is stopping the Indian promise from being realised, it's all very well documented, and, for millions of Indians, just a fact of everyday life. Glad to see that not everybody is willing to turn a blind eye to this reality!

Karnataka is home to 3 tibetan settlements, Bylakuppe being the most famous. It's home to a pretty sizeable population of tibetans whose grandparents generation came from Tibet. They fled to neighboring India during the CCP invasion of tibet. The Indian government granted plots of land to the newly arrived refugees in different parts of India (Dharamsala in north India being the most famous). So tibetan presence in Karnataka is since the early 1960s. Bangalore is a magnet for all Indians bevause of the climate and the opportunities ( many tech companies & start ups).
If you are Tibetan people, you leave China and live in India, just become a Indian people peaceful live here. Nowadays China become diversity ethnicity included the Tibetan, therefore they become Chinese, Indian and Chinese peaceful development, I understand India also want become ila amazing country in future just like China.

Jawa and Yezdi which are Czech Bikes have been acquired by some Indian company and being manufactured in India since many Indians had Jawa and Yezdi bikes back in the 60s 70s and 80s and there's a nostalgia about them in India. My father too had one in the 70s and 80s and he explored India on that in his youth especially Sikkim, Darjeeling and Bhutan.

As a Banglorean I can tell you that Bangalore up until 20yrs ago was very beautiful. It had not grown in size like today. It was green, clean and beautiful. May be Andy was staying in the places, which was then outskirts of Bangalore.
Well, IT boom happened, people from all over the country migrated, local authorities didnt know how to handle. Poor urban development of the surrounding area, towns and villages which became part of Bangalore. Banglore is all dirty now. We have lost our lakes and our green cover. Very unfortunate.

Spent 10 years of my life in Bangalore. Koramangala will always hold a special place in my heart. Till today, i still find myself roaming around on foot floating across those quaint cafes and udupis in my dreams. Even ruminated over the possibility of settling and building a life here. Adulting is when you realised life has other plans in store for you. I will always miss Bangalore.

India still has a great deal of work to do. However, RUclipsrs these days portray India as either the best or worst country in the world, and they act as though everything is alright in the country. Such insincere praise or animosity would make Indians frustrated or complacent or haughty. We cannot progress as a nation unless we are aware of our problems. When it is right, give India praise, but don't go overboard.
Exactly this! Of course India has its positives, I never tire of telling Europeans how it is a unique place for them to visit at least once in their lives, if only to experience a culture so rich and so vastly different from theirs. But to only paint it as good is also doing a disservice to our country. Expectations should be tempered with reality, and the reality of both India in general and Bengaluru in particular are plain for all to see. How the infrastructure is crumbling under undue pressure placed on it by unregulated private corpos, how the corrupt politics is stopping the Indian promise from being realised, it's all very well documented, and, for millions of Indians, just a fact of everyday life. Glad to see that not everybody is willing to turn a blind eye to this reality!
