i admire these kids. they watched as classmates were gunned down like prey, they watched their teachers be shot while trying to protect them, and they somehow have to rebuild from this horrific event. yet they are still fighting for a safer world.

I believe schools are supposed to by law keep their doors locked. Did that school have its doors locked? If not doesn't that contribute to the culpability?
Why punish law-abiding gun owners for the negligence of the school administrators? Shouldn't we be punishing the school administration and the school security chief if they left the doors unlocked? And if somebody let Nikolas Cruz in, who were they and why did they let him in? Shouldn't we be trying to ascertain this? Shouldn't THAT person be held accountable?

he had pulled the fire alarm to get the kids out but once they figured out something was wrong they ran back into the rooms and yes they did lock the doors but the doors have a window in them and he shot through that

While we are at it, let's raise the driving age to 21 and the voting age to 21. Hell, let's just ban vehicles, alcohol, tobacco, and fast food too because those are more dangerous than "assault" rifles in this country. (Which fyi technically an AR-15 isn't considered an assault rifle because it is a semi-automatic)

Christian Elise I stole the term from Louder with Crowder...liberals only hear the "fully" part, they hardly know what an assault rifle is, so a wood stock, M1 Garand 8 round en-bloc clip, semiautomatic 30-06 Main Battle Rifle, used by the US Army in combat during WW2, and Korea, is foreign to them...they'll probably have more of a hissy fit, when you stick a "lethal assault style Bayonet," in the end of the Garand?
Did anyone inform these kids about the opposing argument? I guarantee not, particularly not truthfully. Children will never dictate policy to the adults, it's a waste of a fake shooting. If it's true that these kids haven't heard the other side, then why do we all learn that you must hear both sides to make a fair and proper decision? I'll tel you why they weren't told, because it's not about doing the right thing or making the smartest decision, it's about propping up children to gain sympathy so their agenda will be accomplished.

Gun Owners of America want to abolish all arms control laws, including the National Firearms Act of 1934. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall be unlimited and not tread upon.
