NO parent should EVER have to bury their child. While I stand STRONG on the 2nd Amendment RIGHTS of the Right to bear arms, I also do NOT believe a child should have access to a fire arm of ANY TYPE.

In basically 99% of countries on Earth, the right to bear arms belongs only to Law Enforcers/Police Officers. In London, the London Underground Police Officers are only armed with a baton. So why should civilians of USA should have the right to bear arms?
@@BenjaminLee2009 To protect ourselves against the government and protect our property. Majority of gun owners are safe and responsible. There are cases where citizens who conceal carry save people one I think was a church in Texas and another more recent one was at a mall, two I could think of.

I understand that we have a right to bare arms, but there should be much stricter gun laws. Those who are mentally unstable shouldn't have the ability to purchase and own any sort of weapon. There needs to be change. No student should be terrified to go to school. No student should have to worry about losing their lives when they do go to school. And no parent should have to worry about sending their children to school or fearing if they will lose their child. No parent should have to bury their child. There needs to be change.

BY LAW, police officers/ security guards aren't required to protect you or anyone. That's right, any police officer can just turn a blind eye to any school shooter walking in.

I can not even imagine the pain the victims family and friends had to go through. I can not believe it has been 7 months, and I can not believe that kids like me, have to think about something like this happening to our school.

Parents don't do interviews 24 hours after. Parents show emotion and tears, that is reality. Parents don't go on gun control tour before their daughter-son bodies are still warm. Common sense.
Plus do some research the funeral they had was only memorial with no body or casket. There is no death certificate or obituary. Think first before emotion. Body language is everything.....

I'm not a parent, I'm not even married. Because of the state, we're in now and that the administration doesn't want to take matters into their own hands, I want to homeschool my future children. I want to move to Canada because I'm scared of my safety here in the states

I remember the walk out for all them I was not allowed to but I did it because I believed it was right
I gave my daughter permission, and when the school sent home a detention slip, they got an EAR FULL! needless to say, she didn't have to go to detention.

My heart goes out to everyone affected by this horrible tragedy. It should never have happened and I'm all for very restrictive gun laws in the USA. HOWEVER, as soon as she started talking I thought maybe she's trying to remember what happened and is still in shock, or maybe she wrote down what she wanted to say and is trying to remember that.. but I can't help but feel that the way she pauses, darts her eyes around and her monotone delivery does suggest she has an earpiece in.

Stand up against the NRA and demand gun control legislations. The Supreme court's ruling regarding the Second Amendment years ago that allowed for the general public access to any weapons, including weapons of war, regardless of consequences is flawed and largely influenced by the NRA and other conservative groups. The Supreme court's ruling regarding the Second Amendment needs to be reviewed and revised.
The comments down here are making me so sick. This is a real mother who lost a child. She lost one of the people who she sees everyday in her life. This mom is not making facial expressions to remember a script! She is just trying to remember what happened. I will continue supporting these parents and students. Uvalde Texas was another shooting just before the end of school this year.
Worse than this Parkland shooting because the Police didn't even save the children! They waited in tactical gear and rifles for over an hour in the school before getting into to classroom.
They found the children all hiding under the teachers desk, like they teacher told them to do, but they weren't sleeping like he told them to pretend to be doing, they all were slaughtered.
The entire grade 4 class dead!
Only their teacher survived! He has life changing injuries but the mental toll he faced has clearly changed him forever!
I'm so sorry for all the children murdered and to all their families!
They have suffered this horrible pain and unthinkable loss that will never go away!
I pray that the out come of these hearings deciding what to do with this Parkland shooter, Cruz, who massacred your child will be the decision you feel is justified.
Whether it's to execute him or give him life in prison without payroll, I pray the judgement will finally give you some closure. 🦋
I know it will never bring back your children or everything you will miss that they would have achieved, or even easy the pain you will all face for the remainder of your lives!
