A work place bully tangled with an INTJ I know. In front of their Human Resources tribunal, the quietly logical INTJ, backed up by scrupulous notes/evidence (80 pages worth), was able to walk away, hoping that the effort had not been in vain. Shortly thereafter, the bully was transferred to another unit, one with a strong manager, well aware that the bully's poor behaviour had raised its ugly head towards another newby. So, vindication .....but after a lot of crap. Never try to bully an INTJ. They'll quietly analyse and document, and take you down.

I've got to agree with you.
When the anger reaches the "fight or flight" level, I have to use all my will power left to ran away to prevent a brawl to happen. Fighting physically is not a common response for females like me when faced by an older male who has more authority in social dynamics and cultural norms. It's a more close relationship than professional as only close enough relationship can hurt enough to rile me up to that level. Especially when I'm physically cornered and he try to make me submissive using dominance and anger but I have faced worst.

      So true!
I am only truly upset by the few people about whom I care very deeply.
I definitely desire privacy and solitude when I am angry; this is something the video has spot on.

I would think that an INTJ as a child could get pretty mad, assuming that some of the INTJ traits had to either evolve or mature. Logically speaking.

I was an destructive child. My earliest days involved damaging other people things but as I got reached middle school age, I started to break my own things instead. Now as an adult, I don't break anything beside people confidence. In my 20s, a coworker once asked me, why do I always go to "killing" blow while trying to problem solve. Now in my 30s, I just leave the people to deal with their own mess and walk out of the situation. I suppose I evolve/mature.

Laser-focus criticism is a reality for INTJs for sure. It comes in an intense flux from the inside out. It's hard to stop it, but for the strategic silence described in the video. Isolation is another strategy when INTJs detect frustration in their processes.

There's only certain things that have made me burn important bridges in life. And in order to burn them I have to be very, very angry as an INTJ female. Usually the tipping point is others I was "supposed" to be able to trust start lashing out at me when I need help or I'm in pain.

  • @UHyperZero

That's what I call the Cold Blooded Hell!! You realize that cold bloodying is way more effective than anything. Just plan ahead when exacly it will be the best time to burst that anger and have absolutelly not a single consequence because the person cannot do anything about it then. It's almost like revenge, but the situation was created by the person who angered me and it all became just a self fulfilling profecy, like a directioned karma.

I have a close family member who is an INTJ. What's represented online is mostly just a stereotype that is incorrectly misunderstood. They are far from robots. They actually feel really deep. They just don't express strong emotions outwardly because they have an amazing ability to look at the situations logically and find the solutions by analyzing them. And they can do it on the spot, which I find quite impressive. Gandalf the Grey is actually believed to be an INTJ, and he's one of the most beloved fantasy characters ever.

@@bethpace6936 people seem to care too much about these personality types, I personally think MBTI personality tests are not giving genuine results, I mean I don't believe in such thing , if you ask me I'm an "INTJ" my self (on paper), although I actually like thinking and strategizing planning for different things.
I also like being social, I'm not anti social! I like meetings, I like talking to other people to get their view points (though I don't care much) but to understand how people think and study human behavior, it would just help me to understand the world around me better, I don't like to be weak in such an important part of social life
having communication skills is one of the most important and powerful abilities a person can have!

@@Benjaminbadakhshon I completely agree! People take the mbti thing way too seriously. My nephew (INTP) sounds a lot like you. He likes his alone time, but he loves being with his friends and has many of them. He also enjoys hearing different viewpoints. Being introverted doesn't mean being anti-social. Though, I dislike it when people refer to being an introvert or shy as "anti-social" because anti-social is actually a mental disorder. Lol. You can definitely have any of these 16 personalities and have the maturity and capability to socialize in any situation.
