SummerSlam 2014 was a very surreal experience. The death of Super Cena was completely unexpected, and seeing Brock Lesnar as the new face of the company was very chilling to see. Also the fact that this was the last ever SummerSlam to be in my home of LA, it definitely was a good time. I’ll forever miss this era of SummerSlam, and most of these events were a blast. Keep up the top quality and great work, bro.😁👍

It still breaks my heart that this was the last time we saw Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns in a 1-on-1 match. We were suppose to have a rematch multiple times since 2014, but it was never meant to be (Survivor Series 2020 and SummerSlam 2022 😔). Hopefully when Randy comes back we can finally see this match with their new gimmicks
The match at Survivor Series 2020 was always going to be Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre which is why Randy had to lose the title to Drew on the RAW leading up to SS. The only reason that Randy became WWE champ in that scenario was because WWE booked themselves into a corner of having Drew previously retain against Orton twice prior to HIAC 2020, Orton being the top heel at time they didn't wanna have lose three straight matches to Drew which is why he won da championship then. But he was never planned to face Roman in SS 2020 lol, but yeah def he was supposed to at SummerSlam 22 💯💯we need him back🙏

I enjoyed SummerSlam 2014, my favorite matches were Ambrose/Rollins & Cena/Lesnar
P.S: the Cena/Lesnar match was the match i was looking forwatd to the most and i remember my then-girlfriend and little sister were left speechless after the Cena/Lesnar match endedd (they were rooting for Cena, i was rooting for Lesnar cause i wasn't a Cena fan back in 2014) what a night and what a show we got, not the best SummerSlam but it was very enjoyable

@SuprkickStudios I totally disagree on the notion that super cena died at summerslam 2014 I watched that match and Cena did land a couple of big moves. But I herd when cena was on the podcast with Sam when he stated he gave Brock that win to put him over cause he beat the streak and someone told him he had to lose and I was pissed when I herd that arn Anderson told cena to lose cause it will make Brock beating the streak mean less when that’s not at all true and I will forever hate arn Anderson for that dumb statement he told cena 🤦♂️. Also people forget cena was still main eventing after this match with team cena vs team authority and also when he beat Brock at night of champions 2014.
He didn’t beat Brock at Night of Champions……. Match got interrupted by Seth trying to cash in his contract the match was much closer than the Summerslam one though.

@@JayWIll2000sA DQ win doesn't really count as a victory. The point is, even though Brock didn't beat Cena at Night of Champions, he still came out of that match, the dominant WWE Champion. Cena would never get his win back against Brock, after the latter destroyed him at SummerSlam.
