- After WWE cut ties with Ohio Valley Wrestling, the breeding ground for pro wrestling's next stars was Florida Championship Wrestling. It was here where officials helped the next crop of talent find their voice. Everyone from Roman Reigns to Cesaro & Jon Moxley. FCW was instrumental in teaching wrestlers the "right way" of pro wrestling and how to keep humble. Before WWE had NXT as their developmental everything was constructed from a dingy little warehouse in Florida. This is how they shaped wrestling's next generation.

Drew’s story is super inspirational. When things looked very bleak, he didn’t give up, he improved and he finally got his chance. I was super happy when he won the 2020 rumble as he was finally on his way to become a legend. I was happy when he won at Mania but was depressed that he won with no crowd. Here’s hoping he gets that moment with a crowd one day. Great video, homie.

When I think about FCW, I think about the words "Future Champions of Wrestling."
It's like they recruited the best talents from the Indies, formed a roster and said "this is gonna be the future of wrestling." They did just that and look at all of them now. They're thriving. FCW is responsible for building the next generation of wrestling stars.

@@rhyss5618 I grew up during the RA era but from comments I really figured a thing out that most of the fans are blinded by nostalgia first they say give this superstar a chance and after few months later they turn on them and says he will never reach the level of taker, austin, rock, cena etc. if fans are not giving the chance to new talents then why they expect vince to give them a chance.
PS- I may sound like a rude dude but it's a sad reality.
This is why I'm happy NXT 2.0 is back to being a developmental show. OVW had Cena, Batista, & Orton. Now they're all legends. FCW had Reigns & Rollins. Now they're top guys. They've developed.

What’s interesting about Kofi’s case is he came onto the main roster early compared to his peers (circa 2008) and yes he was a solid mid card guy but for Kofi and he said himself, always felt some type of void and only ever known for his lesser known work. That’s why when Big E and Woods came and they formed The New Day, all went well for Kofi
I didn't think kofi was going to make it after Orton's bullshit in the ring but thank God a couple year's after that happened the new day was formed and kofi got his revenge
When Kofi won the title he should have ditched the New Day, and started he's own tweener role, the New Day should have been putting together to help Kofi get over to the next level and that should have been it, for the New day. Which made it worse he was still in the group and he still was a member of the New day same they did with Big E. Should of got Kofi over and E and Woods would have made it another way as they are talented guys and wouldn't off been issues

For me shield was a hurried decision by the higher ups but I think the talent of moxley, seth and Roman helped it survive I say moxley did most as he was the most developed in the shield members today all three men are great pillars and icons for new generation

Rollins and Moxley werent discovered by WWE

Talent, Gimmick and characters are 3 different things you can take the best pro wrestling on this planet and have his chase 24/7 title while wearing a silly costume all that would do is make people think he sucks, It's not talent fault they don't make it big it's booking fault.
It's kinda crazy to think of all the talent that came from FCW.
Richie Steamboat was talented. I was surprised to hear that he didn't believe in himself. He didn't need to measure up to his legendary father, he could have done well for himself by carving his own path.

No class is as legendary as the OVW 2002. Those guys defined almost two decades of the world of pro-wrestling. That is insane.
There is so many things to learn and know from FCW’s stint. So many guys, gals, trainers, refs and producers who have important roles in today’s generation of wrestling. Great video man.

How I would book the Universal Championship from now on:
Roman Reigns (c) vs Jeff Hardy at the Day 1 PPV
Prediction: Roman beats Hardy clean.
Roman Reigns (c) vs Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble
Prediction: Roman retains the title with the help of The Usos and also, Brock Lesnar won the Royal Rumble match.
Roman Reigns (c) vs Drew McIntyre vs Ridge Holland vs Cesaro vs Hardy vs Happy Corbin at the Elimination Chamber
Prediction: Roman enters last and wins the match by eliminating an exhausted Drew who's been in it since the start.
The next SmackDown: Drew McIntyre runs into Adam Pearce and asks him to be added into the title match at Mania, he would do anything for that and Adam Pearce saw how Drew gave everything in the EC match, so he gives him his last opportunity.
Drew McIntyre vs Mustafa Ali vs Sheamus vs Happy Corbin vs Angel Garza vs Ridge Holland, if Drew wins the match, he gets added to the match at WrestleMania. Drew fights hard through everyone, he even beats the crap outta the Usos who interfered in the match and in the end, Drew won the match and now it is:
Roman Reigns (c) vs Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38
Prediction: The Usos interferred but Brock suplexed both of them a number of times, Drew took advantage and claymored Brock Lesnar, pins him to become the New Universal Champion.
The next SmackDown: Brock Lesnar is furious. He is looking for The Bloodline, but the Bloodline were already prepared, they beat the crap out of Brock, steel chairs, kendo sticks, smash on the announcer's table, steel steps, causing Brock to be out of action for a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre is celebrating his victory, he issues an open challenge and it is answered by Cesaro. These two give us a banger match and in the end, the champion emerges victorius. But, he gets speared by Roman Reigns. Now we have:
Drew McIntyre (c) vs Roman Reigns at Backlash in MayMay for the Universal Championship.
Prediction: The match is going well and good, The Usos come out and distract Drew again like they always do, he gets rid of them, only to get speared by Reigns. The referee was knocked out in between of this chaos. Roman goes out of the ring to grab a steel chair but suddenly, Brock Lesnar's music hits, he's back and the angriest he's ever been. He beats the crap out of Roman, The Usos and Drew McIntyre, ending the match in a no contest.
At No Mercy in June:
Drew McIntyre (c) vs Sheamus for the Universal Championship.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre retains in a solid match.
Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar in a No Disqualification match, winner becomes #1 contender for the Universal Championship.
Prediction: This night, The Usos were destroyed by Lesnar before the match to avoid any interferences. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar go at it, both the men beat the crap out of each other, steel chairs, smashed the announcers table, steel steps. But in the end, Brock Lesnar wins the match and is set to face Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam 2022.
But before SummerSlam, we have Money In The Bank, so:
Men's Money in the Bank match:
Roman Reigns vs Ricochet vs Sami Zayn vs Cesaro vs The Miz vs Riddle vs Kevin Owens vs Finn Balor
Prediction: Our Tribal Chief is Mr. Money in the Bank.
Drew Mcintyre and Brock Lesnar sign their contract at Money in the Bank to make their match official.
At SummerSlam 2022:
Drew McIntyre (c) vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship
Prediction: Both of the superstars go at it, destroy each other and both the men are down in the ring. Suddenly, our Tribal Chief's theme song hits and he's coming, cashes in the briefcase, spears Lesnar and becomes the Universal Champion once again.
This took a lot of time to write it but yes this is the end. I made the Tribal Chief the Universal Champion once again. I think this will be amazing booking. This will build up Drew McIntyre as a mega star while not ruining Roman Reigns too. Brock is just in his last few years in the company. I want him to pass on the torch to someone else. I hope you liked it ;)

When I do play WWE games I create the FCW arena in universe mode and apply these throwback attires because it was never really highlighted. Maybe 2k will make that a showcase one day, that’ll be crazy to play through.🔥💪🏾

I personally was a fan of the Chosen One gimmick for McIntyre. I do like the new rebranded look he has and appreciate how his promo skills developed but I did like his old gimmick.
