You summed it up perfectly. Agreed 100% It's a feud that's destined to go on forever. I hope this ends up being the final match & it never happens again, although considering whether or not another wrestler goes down with an injury or The Rock can't make it to next years Wrestlemania, this same match could end up main eventing Wrestlemania 39. That's the ultimate nightmare scenario right there. As you pointed out, even with this feud being exhausted beyond belief, it's still the main draw, much more than some of the other match ups Roman would have had with other wrestlers. Sure, you could build someone up to be at that level or close to it, but it's not always a guarantee that it will draw the same way Brock & Roman does, or even Rock vs Austin during that rivalry.
@@Pro9pix Think about it though, this roman reigns era, isn't really an era. look at the last 2 decades of mania and the champions. 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29 John Cena, 31, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38 Brock Lesnar. I think it's an issue within itself that this is the only big match they can put on right now. There's gonna come a time where Brock and Roman are retired, and that seems like it's sooner rather than later. Yes I know all their other big stars are injured right now, but what happened to the really strong booking of Drew McIntyre? What's wrong with making a lot of people seem like they're viable to be "The Guy". WWE's ideology of having only one or two wrestlers be important is gonna bite them in the buttocks, we've already seen that when Cena left for Hollywood, and now that Roman is pretty much part-time. Something needs to change or WWE's future is looking uglier than it already is.

Should be Drew or Cody to dethrone Roman. Theory and Drew have a match at the rumble which theory wins because drew gets attacked by someone. Cody returns and wins the Rumble setting up Cody Vs Theory for the title at Mania. then Elimination Chamber have Seth win the title in the chamber, and have Theory vs Rollins at Fastlane. Stroman vs Reigns would’ve been better than Reigns vs Lesnar. Because at least Stroman vs Reigns had a story behind and good. Reigns vs Lesnar was just two big beefy guys beating tf outta each other.
AJ Styles surprisingly is one of the only guys Reigns hasn’t faced or beaten during his heel run, I mean I guess it’s not that surprising considering Styles was a heel himself up until the end of last year, but Styles needs to be given a program with Reigns! It really sucks Jeff Hardy left WWE before we got to see a feud between him and Roman, now we’ll probably never get that match.
The way WWE are constantly booking this match is actually kinda funny. We've seen this like a hundred times already, and this will probably continue for a long time to come. The video package for the match at SummerSlam has the narrator says, "This rivalry won't end until one of these men...". This kind of like when they were doing the Veer Is Coming to Raw vignettes for six months. Let's face it, until these men retire they won't stop, even if its in 2080, 2098, 3089, it doesn't matter, heck they might fight even in retirement. Even when the dead, I bet they'll still face off in the afterlife.
People complain they don’t get long term stories and feuds and then complain when they do get them. I’m so glad the internet didn’t really exist during the attitude era.
People have the BALLS to compare this feud to Rock vs Austin. In terms of the biggest stars of the company going at it, sure. In every other regard, fuck no.
Actually in cena vs ortan and michal vs hhh had a good story line and best chemistry, and proper heel vs baby face matches. And that's lacking in brock vs roman . They are giveing just overpushed feeling or vibes. That's why people not like this rivalry.
A lot of fans may not like Roman vs. Brock all the time but my God it draws money and draws fans to tune in, if they like it or not. That’s what happens when you have a household name.
3:37 imagine if that happened 😮. 2 1/2 year champ wouldn’t be around. He wouldn’t have won the wwe title 4 times. He wouldn’t have been the second ever wrestler to beat undertaker at mania. Bruh imagine if he quit there bro
I’m literally DESPERATE to see Sami Zayn wrestling to his fullest ability again, provided that he can still do at least some of the moves he used before turning heel/ones that were phased out around 2018. I’m not sure if his shoulder surgeries have taken too much of a toll on his body to do those moves though sadly. I just miss his version of the Tope Con Hilo (I’d argue his version was the best, even better than Kenny Omega’s!), his unique arm drags, the backflip he’d do when the opponent moved out of the way before he could do the Tope Con Hilo, the sunset flip powerbomb, the Arabian press moonsault to a standing opponent outside the ring, the moonsault off the barricade, the torpedo ddt he used to do, his double jump crossbody, man all of it! Sami Zayn is so incredibly underrated, I’d say he’s the Christian (Cage) of his generation, he’s such an incredibly talented wrestler, such a great worker, but they just don’t push him seriously the way they should, he’s the Christian to Kevin Owens’ Edge, the one thing Sami kind of seemed to struggle with as a babyface was talking on the mic, he’s a much better character as a heel but his move set and the way he wrestles works more for a babyface, he was like one of the ONLY babyfaces I could actually genuinely get behind during 2016-2017, I mean maybe outside of Dolph Ziggler in 2016. Sami deserves to be a main eventer and a world champion, I just wish they would actually PUSH him, and the problem with that is that the top guy in the company is a HEEL, I’d say now is the perfect time to try and build a strong babyface, especially what with Cody being out injured, and them not pushing AJ Styles in that spot. I mean the only other top babyfaces I can really think of are Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Riddle. McIntyre is bound to get his shot at Reigns soon and my guess is he’ll lose, Riddle already lost to Roman, and Bobby Lashley just won the US title so he’s busy with that right now, that doesn’t really leave a whole lot of options.
If this is the last match in this fun rivalry mark my words people are gonna miss this feud and will be begging for another match just like cena vs orton like said in the video
The difference between Rock and Austin manias, is that everything was timed perfectly. And knowing Austin he wouldn't go for a "just throw sh** at the wall and see if it sticks" type of booking
14 year old me hated the idea of Reigns v Lesnar THEN, and it only got much worse as time went on, that being said their Last Man Standing match in 2022 was really solid, but this so called rivalry was The Rock v Austin that I never wanted to see.
honestly it's just tiring to see them fight over the championship again, but the thing is, WWE does have a point on having them fight over and over, because they do make a lot of money for the company. Plus, the fact that the two of them stared at each other at 2021 SummerSlam is going to end their long-running rivalry at 2022 SummerSlam is just perfect. However if they continue to feud, then they just wasted a perfect ending. But let's see how good the final match is when the time comes.
I think there’s a perfect scenario though for Reigns to lose the title, next year at WrestleMania, or some point next year, not to The Rock, but to a returning Cody Rhodes once he returns from injury
I can see those two fight forever. Literally my those are my two favorite wrestlers and I don't get tired of watching them fight each other. Now it would be badass to see those two team up against two other wrestlers. Like wwe new story would put this two together against other wrestlers and it would be something new to watch and something so fucking badass to see. That would be a great NEW storyline that wwe can go on for a while. Tag team a bunch of wrestlers together that nobody has seen be frenemies and that could bring a whole bunch of NEE excitement to wwe!
Hogan/Savage, Flair/Sting, Austin/Rock, Cena/Orton. ….Reigns/Brock is just this decades mega feud. There will be similar videos to this, a decade from now, about two new guys.
Because WWE can't give their best without a help from their BIG STAR in the past like Brock Lesnar. WWE will never be the same as Attitude Era,Ruthless Aggression Era and PG Era because right now that is Lame Era
the dynamic change since their WM31 match plays into their match quality as well, back then reigns was fighting for his life he was clearly the under dog now he's equal to or even slightly above lesnar which completely changes the match structures

The ever proper match i watched in wrestling was roman vs brock in wm31,so that match felt the greatest of all time 😅
These two don’t need to face each other for at least for 5 years.
Their match at summerslam 2022 was the best ever in my opinion
"Wrestlemania 65 wheelchair on a pole math" I didn't see that coming🤣🤣
The way WWE are constantly booking this match is actually kinda funny. We've seen this like a hundred times already, and this will probably continue for a long time to come. The video package for the match at SummerSlam has the narrator says, "This rivalry won't end until one of these men...". This kind of like when they were doing the Veer Is Coming to Raw vignettes for six months. Let's face it, until these men retire they won't stop, even if its in 2080, 2098, 3089, it doesn't matter, heck they might fight even in retirement. Even when the dead, I bet they'll still face off in the afterlife.
Thanks a lot, the beginning part was to funny, my outburst laugh, woke up the kids
People complain they don’t get long term stories and feuds and then complain when they do get them.
I’m so glad the internet didn’t really exist during the attitude era.
Yeah you are right.
This feud literally reminds me of John Cena and Randy Orton
At least all there matches were interesting and they have amazing chemistry
Seth winning wwe title at WM 31 was awesome
I wasnt looking at my screen when watching this but i knew right away what those reactions were for
As someone who hated the constant Lesnar and Roman matches, I'm insanely excited for this final brawl between them.
Wait I always knew the story that Roman's family was backstage about cut up but I didn't know there was 50 of them damn😂😂
First comment. Love u man💖
Honestly i would love to see Roman vs Brock again in WrestleMania 100
Me too
@BingPotVibes nope that would happen in their grave, winner goes to heaven, and loser goes to hell!
So you want holograms wrestling?
Only if the match isn't superman punch, spear and suplex spam
I love this reigns vs lesner fued.i need more reigns vs lesner match.
The title says it all. Even Randy Savage vs Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold vs The Rock, and Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels ended at some point!
Mans through in the clutch in there
Very well explained thanks for the video
I really like this idea of two powerhouses in a last man standing. I just wish it would have happened a few matches/ PPV's ago
A lot of fans may not like Roman vs. Brock all the time but my God it draws money and draws fans to tune in, if they like it or not. That’s what happens when you have a household name.
The thumbnail is epic
It's been 8 years dammmmmmmn time flies
McIntyre is bound to get his shot at Reigns soon and my guess is he’ll lose, Riddle already lost to Roman, and Bobby Lashley just won the US title so he’s busy with that right now, that doesn’t really leave a whole lot of options.
well HHH has some new for you
Also this should’ve been a 3 stages of hell match.
If this is the last match in this fun rivalry mark my words people are gonna miss this feud and will be begging for another match just like cena vs orton like said in the video
They're nothing like the John Cena Randy Orton feud from back in the early 2000s that's a whole different level
Well as Lesnar said on the pat mcafee show.. people need to step up. If stars don’t step up.. us fans are gonna keep getting this.
The difference between Rock and Austin manias, is that everything was timed perfectly. And knowing Austin he wouldn't go for a "just throw sh** at the wall and see if it sticks" type of booking
this last man standing match wad by far there best match in this rivalry
people hate it now...but this is going to be a great history
14:45 omg INTHECLUTCH ENT🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I want them to have atleast 12 to 14 matches
15:13 great seeing my boy Pacitti here
"Pepto Bismol" Champ is wild
Because WWE can't give their best without a help from their BIG STAR in the past like Brock Lesnar. WWE will never be the same as Attitude Era,Ruthless Aggression Era and PG Era because right now that is Lame Era
the dynamic change since their WM31 match plays into their match quality as well, back then reigns was fighting for his life he was clearly the under dog now he's equal to or even slightly above lesnar which completely changes the match structures
Good video
Aj Styles And Shinsuke Nakamura had a Great Last Man Standing Match so this Match has Potential
So excited to see Roman vs Brock 8, another signature move spam match.
when stone cold and cody came back i was so surprised and happy
