Edge return was perfect, I remember watching it live. Still get goosebumps. And as for drew i wanted him to win the Rumble thankfully he did, He got his moment.

Royal Rumble 2020 was one of the best rumbles of all time, Remember watching it live.
I can remember standing in my grandparents living room being 11 years old hearing edge announce his retirement and I’ll never get over that feeling
i still get chills every time i watch edge’s return. i had stopped watching wwe by that point and as soon as i heard he returned i ran to youtube. i remember laying in bed, staring at my tv with full body chills and cried seeing him return. i was 18 at the time and had stopped watching abt 3 years before and i felt like a little kid all over again. will never forget that moment fr.
Drew McIntyre eliminating Brock Lesnar was a huge moment I still remember the pop when he did it and him winning was the icing on the cake but I’m still sad he didn’t get his moment winning the WWE Championship in front of a crowd

My favourite Royal Rumble of all time. I'm so glad Drew won, so glad Edge returned, it was just perfect in every way. I always go back and watch this gem of a match when I need some quality wrestling content.
I have a bittersweet feeling about this Rumble. On one hand, it made 2020 seem like it was going to be such a banger year.
And then reality hit.
Edge saved January 26th, 2020. And Brock Lesnar's reaction when Keith Lee came out was funny.

The 2020 Royal Rumble match was so awesome & too enjoyable. I still remember that night when my favourite The Rated R Superstar Edge made his return in the WWE after 9 long years. Thanks a lot.
This was an awesome match. I remember watching this with my family and we had a blast throughout. We anticipated the “Who would be the one to eliminate Lesnar?” storyline and loved it, Drew was our favorite to win, and him eliminating Lesnar was one of the most satisfying things ever simply for the crowd reaction, the absolutely legendary return of Edge after 9 years away and when Randy Orton joined the match and gave us a Rated RKO reunion, it was just perfect for us Ruthless Aggression kids, and when Drew ended up winning the match, we were SO happy and it immediately became an all time favorite Rumble for us all. We may have lost Kobe that day, but Edge’s return definitely helped us heal from the pain as we wanted him back for years and it showed, miracles do exist. Truly an all time great Rumble for me, and I’ll do anything to go back to that day and relive it all.😁

It’s funny, because I was a super wrestling fan as a kid but stopped watching around 2011/12. Then outta no where I decided to watch this event specifically when I hadn’t watched in Years, and man it was the ultimate nostalgia/ reigniting of my liking of the WWE. Seeing Edge come in sent me back to 08 INSTANTLY.
That men’s rumble match is my favorite royal rumble match. Can’t believe it has been 3 years.
This was the most fun Rumble Match I ever saw in the last number of years.
The dominance of Brock (even though he was basically burying half of the roster), the return of MVP, the moment with Brock and Shelton Benjamin, the debut of Keith Lee, the final two and of course....
The emotional return of Edge and the arrival of Drew McIntyre as a main eventer.
Man, oh man, this match was so much fun to watch in retrospect.
Definitely my favorite royal rumble.
This was definitely the perfect Royal Rumble, everytime WWE fumbles a Rumble - I literally go back to this match and ask myself how they created this.
2018 and 2020 are two of my favourite Rumbles of all time.

I've never been a fan of Basketball, so I wasn't affected by Kobe's death. I do admit that it was very sad that Kobe, his daughter and the pilot died, and really shouldn't have happened. I was more affected by everything closing. I watched this Rumble live, and I was really excited going into this show!

For the royal rumble of 2020 is so awesome. Drew McIntyre winning it was great, emotional win. Edge returns made me forget the tragic accident for a moment. Kobe's death was so brutal painful.

I remember sating on my couch watching the rr and when I heard ''You think you know be'' I was so fucking hyped.
How poetic for this last of the "big 4 PPVs" to happen before the "bad cough" stopped everything (We don't talk about elimination chamber & Super Showdown pretend it never happened and the Royal Rumble was the real last PPV before the pandemic became a problem).

I say it everytime this is the last great royal rumble in the past 5 to 6 years not just the match but the ppv in general both matches were great fiend Vs Bryan was great edge returns and of course WWE setting drew as a permanent main eventer

I was working that night this Rumble took place. This was like a month and a half before the shut down happened. I was wondering how they were going to do Brock entering at #1 he lasted until the midway point of the Rumble....then Drew entered eliminated Brock and a star was made that night. Seeing Edge return it was like I was 12 years old seeing him again in 2011. Best Rumble of the last 10 years imo a top 5 Rumble.

Not my favorite Royal Rumble match but yeah I'll definitely agree on how this one had good storytelling throughout and the pacing was just right. I didn't watch it when it first aired since I had school but it's a no-brainer that I got so excited on seeing that Edge came back, and also that it happened before that particular virus ruined 2020.
I think Edge was simply burnt out of wrestling in 2011 so he just decided to hang his boots up instead of continuing his wrestling career. The neck injury had already been an issue for a while and there were surgeries he could have done in 2011 that would have minimized the risks but he chose not to have them. Plus I'm pretty sure he hasn't done anything to his neck since his retirement in 2011 so he didn't really have to retire in the 1st place. He just wanted to do other things but I think he learned pretty quickly that his heart was still in the ring. I'm glad Edge came back and his return at the Rumble is easily a Top 3 return of all-time.

Note. RR 2020 was before Supershow Down, so it was the first time ricochet and lensar faced each other in a match.
