The Eviction Process: The Neighbors From Hell

  • One neighbor from hell was yelling threats at the crew from across the street, and the other neighbor thought she was at the home shopping network!
The set-out crew checked the house for occupancy a couple hours before the eviction. They called and told me that the tenants were still there and they had dogs.
It's a good chance they also told the tenants that Penn is on the way, you had better get on down-which they did. When people take everything they want from the house and leave the rest, it's more of a trash-out than an eviction.

I recently moved, I got cancer and my spouse died extremely suddenly and I couldn't afford the rent on my own. I left on my own without being evicted but due to downsizing from a home with 3 bedrooms, a living room, a huge family room and garage I then had way too much stuff. I cleaned my driveway and nicely set all the stuff out for free. Posted an ad and within 20 mins someone took everything. I didn't have any bugs or dirty things and they even went as far as to help wrap the breakables for them.
I do agree though I would be extremely careful taking or buying things from someone's home. I won't buy anything usually. Even tvs/electronics are hot spots for bugs. Not everyone is dirty though. I think though most all the time if ppl are evicted from what I have seen they always make a mess and sage property which I don't understand. Pl

My next door neighbors got into meth and lost their home. The sheriff put everything out on the driveway. I tarped the stuff when the vultures started coming around. Later, I saw them crying in their truck and gave them money for a hotel or whatever. Don’t get me wrong, they were terrible neighbors, and neglectful to their young kids, but I didn’t help them because they were good people. About a year later, that guy stopped by and paid that money back., despite it being a gift. He said I was the only person who helped them and was respectful to them when they were at rock bottom. I live in Massachusetts. I know it's different from state to state. Soon as covid hit and my girlfriend lost her job, I called my landlady immediately to let her know what was going on. She was very empathetic with us. We have been renting off her for about 8yrs at that point. She told us she didn't want us going anywhere, and she took 200 a month off my rent, which I wasn't expecting. I just wanted her to understand if I couldn't pay it all at once. Fortunately my boss gave me an extra 15 to 20 hrs a week during covid so I was able to pay my rent in full. I understand not all landlords are empathetic like mine. But you, as a renter, need to be on top of your end as well. And people will respect you and look out for you. You gotta talk, though. You can't just ignore phone calls and hide when they come by knocking on the door.

Landlord here, and I can say if you have a tenant that pays on time, comes to you in advance and says there may be a problem with rent getting paid, I am always willing to work with a tenant. My tenants usually don't leave and believe it or not, none of my tenants took advantage during Covid and didn't pay rent. Everyone paid in full and on time. Of course, when you call the landlord with an issue and the landlord is there that day to get it fixed, it's smart to not leave and to pay on time. From what I hear, not all landlords do that.

I’m a health inspector. U want bed bugs? Bring home some of that furniture. and u won’t see them with a quick look either. Sadly, tenants do this then the landlord by law has to treat their unit.

Evictions can’t be done that way here. Landowners must put the contents in a safe place for 30 days. If they put stuff in a storage unit they have to pay for 1 months fee. It’s actually ridiculous to me, but that’s the law. Enjoyed the video though. 💚💜 Quite the characters. New sub.

When I left my house in the city and moved to a tiny house in the country, I set so much to the curb knowing full well I was going to call 1-800-junk. Man! Vultures swarmed in on that pile like rabid dogs!! Bags ripped open, glass broken, clothes scattered everywhere, even tables torn apart for the hardware!! It was nuts!!! Still cost me around$250 when junk’s came.

That's your downfall... You called a scam company... Seriously... There are people such as me that will come remove it and take it to be processed and disposed for a rate of 30$ and up depending on size and environmental aspect...

@@CiaofCleburne yeah, we all get rushed and make rash decisions. Just always stop before you dial that stupid 1800 or 1888 number... Heck I put everything we didn't want when we moved out like that and posted an ad for free stuff. They came like a plague. I then edited the post to state DO NOT TRASH THE YARD. needless to say I became a watch tower until it was gone lol.

@@historyhunter5215 see, I didn’t have time for ANY of that. We listed our house and it sold 9 days later! Plus our situation was unique in that just me and my dog had to single-handedly (pawedly?) clear enough land to plunk down a camper. We bought a forest! I plan to just stay here…my forever home, but it’s good to get exposure for these smaller moving and junk-hauling companies. I am a firm believer in small businesses.

That woman in the blue should be ashamed of herself. Those poor people weren't even out their home 5 minutes and she is trying to take there belongings..... go buy your own dam lamp and vacuum
You take peoples stuff off the curb you end up with roaches in your house..... unbelievable
