@RMT'S DELIGHT When they don't pay their part of the rent. Also, they can be permanently removed from section 8 for causing damages or missing their appointments. My ex used to rent to section 8 people and it was a nightmare.

Right. It’s pests that hide in walls who probably is easily getting into the unit now. This is why you need to run a credit, background and be a good judge of character before deciding to rent. I also think low income needs to stop cause I’m tired of my taxes going to these low lives. It needs to be on a basis of only and only if you can’t work and have a condition. Kids or not. Otherwise if they can walk, talk, they can do something from home and at least go to school online.
I absolutely let them know we will check it about 3 times a year. I will give 48 hours notice. If they start to give me trouble about it. No lease renewal.
@@Brandyebee I do the same. In my lease agreement I state that I will come 3 times a year to inspect the place to check the ac/heating unit, plumbing, spray for bugs, etc.

It's crazy to me because this house is so small and it would take so little time to keep it clean and taken care of. I just don't get the disregard in letting the holes in the wall not be addressed or why they would have 50 pairs of shoes but no bed to sleep in. Sometimes people have weird priorities.

If an inspection was conducted she'd be evicted for destruction of property. There are holes of different sizes all through the bedroom. I'm glad she saved herself from being evicted but the living conditions are a mess.
I'm so happy it worked out for the children's sake!! Like I've said before, landlords are willing to work with ppl when they fall on hard times bc everyone does, and making a partial payment will go a long way towards showing the landlord that you're actually trying to get them paid up. I 💜 this gentleman's videos!! He's very reasonable and straightforward without treating ppl like crap. It's been a while since I watched one, and I've never seen him block out the adult's faces, so I thought it was a giveaway that they were going to pay!!

At one time I had two rentals and before we all signed the leases we always had a sit down about communication. I wanted to know if there was something broken, in need of any kind of repair so that I could have it taken care of and don't ghost me when there is an issue. Staying silent and not paying the rent didn't work out well.

As an old schooler my parents made us clean around 7 years of age especially Saturday. Wash walls, bathroom and kitchen cleaned. I don't know why this young lady doesn't do the same.😢

If the eviction is complete in the courts, payment does not cancel it. If the owner says stop, then it is stopped. But payment does not stop it, however payment should not be accepted. I've served notices and had them try to pay me. They owner has said yes once. Other times won't accept payment as she wants them out.
Well, she owes the money right? She should pay it. Also, I’d still evict because this will definitely happen again in another few months.
The person being evicted STILL OWES the rent, so if they're willing/able to make payment then it WILL and SHOULD be accepted. Paying up the monies owed does NOT stop the eviction, unless the owner contacts the court and stops it

@@ayana188you need to find side hustles… my cousin sells food at work… (sells drinks/desserts.) she makes custom cups and t shirts.. cleans houses. This is how she makes rent along with her job. She’s a single mom and she budgets every penny. It’s the mind set. You can over come anything. But you have to know that paying rent comes first. Food you can get a food banks / church pantries. Freeze meat when it’s one sale. Plan your life. You can get a short career as well selling houses or doing nails.

I wish they would have had all that stuff outside first before it was stopped so they could get some pinesol and bleach in there to clean it up before they moved back in. That's crazy. Even if you don't have much, take care of what you do have. Sheets and pillows are filthy. They need to call child protective services because that is now place for those kids or a baby!
Notice how the biggest holes are in the adult's room. How can anyone damage their house like that and be okay with it? They don't have a doorknob on the front door and I'll assume the kids are sleeping on those red couches instead of actual mattresses. They could get proper beds for the kids for under $200, but it's okay cuz they have a new 40+ inch tv to keep them distracted. So many people make excuses for living like this, but seeing situations like these make it hard for me to have sympathy when the parents aren't even trying. As somebody who has lived in an old RV for 4+ years, just because you are low income doesn't mean you have to trash the roof over your head. I feel awful for kids who have to grow up to selfish parents like this.

Someone in that apt has anger issues. Go to the the 🏋️♂️ or get a punching bag and stop kicking and punching walls. For goodness sake, turn that TV down. The children will be deaf by the time they reach adulthood.

They didn’t.. I had a tenant have an agent pay 6 months back rent and 3 months rent in advance and as soon as it was time for her to pay she paid nothing. I’m evicting her right now and she is going to be crying and begging when they come to put her out I’m sure

And then they get so far behind that they can’t afford it anymore and they they act shocked when they are evicted. I’m a landlord and my tenant can pay she just refuses too. We evicted her last year and the government stepped in and paid her back rent and even paid 3 months in advance. And now I’m evicting her again cause she still didn’t pay after getting all that help. Got a bunch of kids probably in an apartment that the government's paying for has no respect for it living gross and nasty punching holes in the walls and teaching their kids that it's okay to live that way it's really pitiful

I know that landlord was hoping that they wouldn’t pay so she can put them out. I don’t see how it’s possible for someone to put that many holes in the walls of an apartment and be fine with it and just live in it. When they do leave they’re gonna be mad that they don’t get their deposit back when that little deposit is not going to cover a fraction of the damage that they did to this apartment. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he thought he would get some money now , if he kicks her out he won't get back rent and will take a bigger loss. But these are the type of people who will ruin the house from ceiling to floor when they move out just because they can.In the end even if they stay current on their rent it will cost the landlord thousands of dollars when they leave.
CPS should be notified for extremely dysfunctional family environment. In addition to neglecting financial responsibility (pending eviction). Plus 😮😮😮emotional (rage) disturbance is present (large holes in various walls). Extremely small children in danger

Their seems to be some indicators of domestic violence. Those holes in the wall are not from the kids.

I would not have waited for them to make any payment. Once I saw the unit with all of the damage, that would have been it. The eviction would have proceeded as scheduled.
I’m shocked at the state of the walls it’s a constant theme with rental tenants I’ve lived in my present home for 11 years raised five kids and have no holes in Any walls in the home. Why do they think it acceptable to bash walls in properties that don’t belong to them. I wouldn’t rent properties to tenants let the work sweat and save maybe then they will appreciate the home. It’s not fair on the owners of these properties to always have the financial burden of putting right the destruction of their properties.
I wish they would do away with assistance or provide it under more stringent guidelines! This living off the government for your entire life needs to stop.
