    Just purchased my S95 65” and I’m shook! Black Friday sale 1799 and it’s absolutely beautiful. I have a bay window directly in front of my fireplace which is where i hang my tv’s, I do have blinds and curtains as well but I never even have to shut them because this tv delivers the brightness needed for my bright living room which is why I chose this one!

      @@nuggyfresh6430 Post Samsung nerf S95B does not look as good anymore.. They got caught cheating with brightness and forced an update out - I have seen G2 and S95B and they both look great. Don't get fooled by Samsung marketing please. LGs top OLEDs still look insanely good and are cheaper. Samsung lacks Dolby Vision etc. Not everyone are going to pick the S95B over G2 that is for sure. Several videos about this already. G2 won in some due to better color accuracy and image was actually brighter.. Samsung has more punchy colors but less acurate, if it matters. For some it do.

    I love my Samsung S96B OLED 4K television and my stand doesn't wobble on my television stand. I prefer the center stand oppose to the legs on each end of a television forcing consumers to purchase a longer or special table. The only problem I have, after turning the television off, there is a popping sound. After doing some research, the popping or cracking noises you hear after you turn off your S95B Samsung 2022 OLED are caused by different parts inside the TV contracting as they cool. It is caused by the thermal expansion the metal chassis of the TV goes through during the warm-up phase. These sounds are normal, and happen in a variety of different environments.

    I’m commenting on multiple S95B videos. I’ve seen enough of these videos to agree there is definitely a problem with bent panels, and I was sweating it as I picked up my S95B from Best Buy on Nov 10, 2022. I am happy to report that my panel does to have any visible bends or curves (whew). The sticker on the back indicates my panel was manufactured Oct 2022. I was prepared to return it immediately if the panel showed any problems in the shape.

    • @soulshot96
      @soulshot96 2 года назад +1

      That's the only conclusion that makes sense. From what I can tell, Polarizers cut down light output by at least 50%, so you can imagine what kind of effect that would have on brightness, color volume, and if not, what kind of effect it would have on power consumption, ABL, and panel life.
      Personally, I don't use my OLED in a room I can't control the light in, so this approach doesn't bother me.

    I was waiting for your review. After going to BestBuy to shop for QN90B, I was stunned by sheer difference in colour volume. Today i am going out to buy it.
    The biggest colour difference was an image of a gold ornament. The shine and richness of gold is only conveyed properly through QD OLED. In NEO QLED, it seems so washed out wihle S95B was real like.

On the samsung options the signal imput when i click on it on the hdmi slot i got the pc in, the tv stops showing the signal completely and goes back to my laptop, where i have to unplug and plug back in the hdmi to make my tv recognize the input. Not being able to turn on the Input Signal on the specific hdmi slot(tried all 4) prevents me from turning on Game Mode on the s95B, which is needed for best latency and refresh rate and so on… very frustrated. We use a dedicated calibration tool and software, but it can be quite costly for someone just looking to calibrate one display. Hardware Unboxed has a good video on how to calibrate a monitor here: ruclips.net/video/f2nVNxx1IHo/видео.html
      For the average user though, we'd recommend the Calibrate Color Checker Display Pro colorimeter, or the non-pro model if you don't mind the longer calibration time.

    IMO the build quality is lacking with cheap plastic and a panel that can be easily flexed. The S95B is reminiscent of a Vizio in regards to build quality.
    Why the assumption that burn-in may be less likely than more likely compared to a WOLED panel?
    IMO the better question to ask for getting the S95B is the content you watch. If you watch a lot of high grade HDR content to take advantage of the great color volume - very limited with movies at this point - then get the S95B, otherwise get the C2/G2/A80K/2021 A90J for their better video processing.

FPS drop from 60FPS to 30 every 1-2 min, it jerks and looks like I'm watching a 24p movie. Called for support and I was appointed a technician. Saw what I was talking about and mentioned that it is what it is. Maybe a firmware update can help, but Samsung releases 1-2 per year a firmware update. Technician mentioned that it is by design. I have an A95K based on the same panel and it does not have any motion issues like the S95B. Called back support & request Full refund as I'm not satisfied. Support Agent had a very bad approach and kept pushing back and rely on Samsung politics. Did not have any empathy nor he tried to understand my experience and kept reading the Technician note and shoving Samsung's politics in my face. Very Bad customer service on top of a bad S95B TV. Thing is with Dolby Vision, in order to get the full experience, you need 12-bit color which nobody makes a TV with a 12-bit panel.

      No you don't haha, Dolby Vision works just fine with 10 bit. It is dynamic metadata, HDR10 is static. Dolby Vision is pretty much HIGH-END HDR where HDR10 is basic HDR and Samsung only supports this, because HDR10+ is dead and buried, which is Samsungs answer to DV. Sad but true.
