Like that red sandy road at 1:29. I like the view of all the rocks at 4:15. At 5:11 I like the capture of the stream. Nice video, thumbs up! :)

That early parking spot is the old trail to the top of Raspberry Mtn. With the improvements, that trailhead is now moved to just a half mile before the Crags trailhead. The Raspberry Mtn trail is 3 miles in, and 3 out, have done it 4 times, good views. But the Crags is THE best!

I know the crags are in teller county colorado springs and elpaso county is unique you're close to a little bit of everything the high plains the mountains the high desert and canyons plateaus and mesas all not very far away from the city you can hike mountains in manitou. Another cool place to hike is the paint mines out on the plains it's calhan east of colorado springs about 50 miles I think it's 45 if you haven't been there you should check it out it's a gem of elpaso county.

+rochet75 Hi! I tried to hike this last fall and the trail was washed out. We ran into others and they said there wasn't a way to the top that they knew of. I'm thinking I took a wrong turn. After the meadows I remember a fork. AT the time we tried both ways and lost the trail, but if you can describe something that might help I'd greatly appreciate it.

If I hike with my 6 year old, will he get eaten by a bear or mountain lion?

David B I guess that depends if he can outrun you or not.... there are usually several people on the trail and it's sometimes even crowded on the weekends or holidays.... there's always precautions you can take while hiking.
