Not really. In that video it hadn't been started in a week or so. Usually fires up just like in the video. Takes a few minutes to get some heat in the engine, then it'll idle for a bit. I try to let any engine idle for a few minutes before driving anyway, especially something old and carbureted.
Please always include the cold start. That was awesome and sounded amazing
I should note that it was about 20 degrees outside, and maybe 25 in the shop when I filmed this. Stored inside a big unheated pole barn shop.
