@@lukes3897 just recently sold our work truck 5.9, if it was running it was pulling a trailer. 199k miles, ain't NEVER heard that magnum crank that long. Something must be slightly wrong. I'm In Minnesota BTW 👌
@@swappedoutZ71 I just think they all sound like a trombone under throttle, I'm not big on how any of the v8's sound under throttle personally. But I'm a semi truck mechanic so online 6's have a special place in my heart😂
Larry sounded the best. My 5.4 with 3" straight pipes no cats sounds amazing. I wake up my neighbors every morning at 4 going to work. They hate me. I love it. If I'm up, you're up
I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe LTZ and I just did my second exhaust setup on it and I can’t wait to get my TSP engineering long tube headers the GMC Sierra cold start sounded pristine. Now I know what everybody means when they say you can make your truck sound like a race car.
For those wondering, the ram was hesitant to start most likely due to moisture in the distributor cap. Mine does about the same thing every time it rains
You have some amazing sounding trucks. Call me crazy, but my personal favorite is Larry. I love 10th gen f150s with a 5.4L. Mama had one when I was a kid and it was an absolute beast. Wish I would have tried to buy it from her
I had the stock version of that last truck with a 40 horse tune and custom exhaust! Wish I had never sold it! It was a work truck not a show truck, but I loved it!
That 6.0 sure started up quick considering most of the cold starts I see on those diesels they kinda struggle. This was one of the best cold start videos you’ve done
Dodge and lbz, the lbz just sounds great and the turbo whistle is epic, the dodge because it's old school no clap and imo the newer engines loud are clappy and I think clap is obnoxious and sounds terrible. Late models need some muffling something that gets rid of the clap unfortunately it affects the loudness so there's killer option. I guess with the LS if you could replicate a Corvette exhaust which would be full length but no actual tailpipe, that may be the key and I absolutely despise the sound of coyotes the only way to make them sound even remotely ok is keep the exhaust mild. My 95 mustang gt has factory exhaust except it has the 4 cats gutted and muffler delete and I cut the end of the last 12" to 18" tailpipes off welded on 2.25" to 3" reducers and welded 3" mirror polished stainless tubing (I found 3' section in the drop box at work, it's was same thing as exhaust but just seamless pipe) straight cut and it sounds so sexy, it has a killer growl and gets a killer non clappy bark up around 4500 but it's a smooth but loud bark and deccel has some really sweet burble n pop, the straight cut really helps. And all the stages of my exhaust the thing that changed the tone the most was the 3" straight cut pipe and those pipes shooting straight out the back looks killer
For chomper you should try something different for the muffler like some spintechs. Either the 6000 series since you have headers and cam or even the 9000 if you really want it loud. The pro shoot out 4000 would be a nice in between. Just something different that would give it an aggressive really mean sound while still giving you great performance.
I’m definitely a ram guy anymore but all of the trucks are clean and something to be proud of. That 2nd gen is gorgeous but needs some attention though.
I kinda feel like painting choppers rear bumper plastics gloss black to match the truck would look good but not sure how it would hold up but might do it for a video idea if you have extras laying around
I need more land. Code enforcement is on my tail. Took me to court over vehicles on private property. Judge was an A hole. Called my vehicles “junk”, put me on 3 years probation and gave me hefty fines totaling over $7k. I hate how this area went to crap after it became populated. My family has owned this land almost 100 years.
5.9 thought it was a cummins and started throwing smoke rings 😂😂
that’s dodge for you
That’s what I was saying did he swap the engine without telling us 😂
My 5.2 magnum does the same on cold mornings, that long cranking, sometimes that sputter or misfire sound... They're mad when they gotta wake up
@@lukes3897 just recently sold our work truck 5.9, if it was running it was pulling a trailer. 199k miles, ain't NEVER heard that magnum crank that long. Something must be slightly wrong. I'm In Minnesota BTW 👌
@@Sprieri bet that thing is rotten ashit from rust😭
Hats off to the guy for standing outside for about an hour in the freezing cold just to start some trucks up for us 😅
aint no way this video wont have a million views soon
Aww 30f so cold awww
@@joshfrost3028 It was lik e-35c with the windchill the other day. Do some coldstarts in that. Not that windchill effects a car
@Justin-ul9wo wind chill definitely effects them for sure. But -35c is like -31f I think.
I liked the diesels and the magnum. I think the 5.9 magnum was my favorite because it sounded just like a Cummins.
The ram sounded like it identifies as a diesel with those tow mirrors 😂😂
Great content keep up the good work
Out of all these rigs Larry still makes me the happiest
6.0, LBZ, Dodge, Larry. Best sounding in this video.. and I drive a Cateye lol , I like them all
Chomper and 6.0 are so badass
I’m a Chevy guy through and through but those 6.0 have to be the greatest sounding truck of all time 😮💨
6.0's sound like hot garbage I don't understand you guys😂
My 6.0 sounds glorious it all depends on what you do to it.. heads cam intake and FULL exhaust over here no dump or cut off rattle can bs

something about hearing the good ol 5.3 and 6.6 on a cold start is just satisfying
The damn Dodge looks so good with those stocks and graps it's insane
The Duramax sounds the best love to hear the Duramax running hope to see more of the red Duramax it's the very best truck you ever owned
Holy crap Lary was so pissed off!
I think you mean holy clap 😂
@Jeremiah_324holy clap was chomper…. Sounded like 💨 farts
Ikr 😅
1:34 i want that same setup for my 2017 Silverado 5.3 😮💨 SOUNDS GOOD!!
Currently i just have a muffler and resonator delete. With a 6 inch tip
I forgot how much I love Larry
LBZ and Chomper for the WIN!

Wow i had a 01 5.9 magnum and it never struggled that hard on a cold start. It always fired right up no issues. Interesting
the whistle of the 6.0 and the Duramax hurt my ears 😂 I was listing with earbuds max volume
Those trucks sound sick. Would love to get a update on the Duramax though.
update of what?
Duramax needs attention bad
Your truck line up really might be undefeated 🔥🫡
I loved the Ram, got to hear a whole bunch of that old Mopar Starter, that thing said, “not right now Matthew!”
Truck number two. Hands down!!
I say Chevy for the win!! Very nice collection
The last one purred like a kitten it was beautiful
Watching Larry start was like watching an old man get out of a rocking chair. It was sad. 😢
Props for letting the rigs warm up. Last time I came across your channel was at 50k subs, great job.
For those wondering, the ram was hesitant to start most likely due to moisture in the distributor cap. Mine does about the same thing every time it rains
love the 5.9
that ram by far is the best of all honestly
2007 2500hd red Silverado sounded the best
Only because I have one too 😊
God dayyyyyyyum that 6.0 😍
That 5.3 sounded so good rolling off slowly
Chomper will always sound the best
06 sierra the best sounding

The 2nd gen sounds so nice and smooth but the lbz is always insane
Larry sounds best imo🇺🇸
that F250 is fire!
The powerstroke and the cammed GMC sounded amazing
I had the stock version of that last truck with a 40 horse tune and custom exhaust! Wish I had never sold it! It was a work truck not a show truck, but I loved it!
I think both the Red trucks take the W today! Awesome videos!
6.0 for the win. I like a duramax also most of my buddies wives drive them
Gamble 6.0 sounds the best
Your 2011 gmc looks clean. What type of rims and tires did you put on it?
The high pitch whistle those diesels make gets me everytime..truck sound like a airplane getting ready for takeoff..lol
That 6.0 sure started up quick considering most of the cold starts I see on those diesels they kinda struggle. This was one of the best cold start videos you’ve done
They all sounded good
Chomper is the best looking truck

That black 4 door 5.3 sounds goooooood
short box with the boggs sounded the best
Larry was strugglin for a minute
That intro clip transported me back in time to my high school parking lot at 3:15pm
what was the weather those older gasser had a harder time starting than the diesels 😭
It’s because they’re upgraded and they didn’t struggle at all
I was about to say they didn’t struggle much
Probably low batteries cuz they sit most of the time.
Damn I had a 2001 1500 with the 5.9 magnum and mine never started that rough in cold weather
It's the red trucks for me
New to the channel but that 2011 chevy or blue ram are my favorite gassers of the group. The duramx is the best tho i agree
5.4 is the best, might be bias because I like tritons but I like the clap

I love the fords especially that 6.0 powerstroke 🤤🤤🥵🥵
Cummins is mint
Saved the last for best 🤙🏽
6.0 was glorious
6.0 for the win
definitely the single cab gmc nice chop no clap
That is one hard starting 5.9 magnum, wow
I'm getting exhaust drone from my stereo listening to some of these
None of my magnum v8s ever started that rough lol. Even below freezing. They'd both maybe crank over 2 times before it fired
They all sound amazing, dodge and Larry sounded mad lol.
That cateye sounds nice asfffff😮😮😮😮
Sounds amazing, 🔥cold weather ain't nun to play with
As I expected, the Dodge was the hardest to start! Reminds me of the ones from the 60's and 70's!
What is the suspension, wheel and tire setup for Chomper and the blue dodge?
2nd gen needs some love little rough
25hunnid 🤣🤣 cold fr had him talking different
6.0 was my favorite
Clap wagon!!!
that powerstroke was crazy
The 6.0 and that 5.9 😵💫
Gotta love v8s🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’ve been waiting for this video!
Larry and the 2nd gen was my fav
Try doing them with the remote start I noticed mine holds a higher rpm with remote start sounds awesome
larry da besttt sounding
Larry is looking good
I've never saw any gas trucks start as hard as that green Ford and that blue Dodge did, must have been in the negatives there.
the lbz was the best sounding imo
I love how you live like you’re in a real life snow runner game, all these big hooptys

Ngl the 6.0 sounded nastyyy
The 6 blow🧡
It the 5.9 magnum all stock just muffler delete? And what lift is on it
Fire video great stuff keep making great videos hey I’m really wanting to see the 2014-16 bumper on the Lbz you should do a swap
the powerstroke sounded insane wtf
