I remembered going to this fight completely blind and i struggle to beat him . Only if i spamed triple slash more often XD . And i remembered a small ghosts looking enemies too , they break bar is enormous and their stagger duration is extremely low , what a weird enemies lol glad i only encounter them once in my playthrough
3:19 Rufus trying to shoot the absolute hell out of Cloud while he's prepping his Limit Break and all the "Immune"s popping up was metal. Dude's about to die.
Agreed i want in expecting nothing (exactly what OG Rufus gave me) and i came out of that fight smiling like a baby and was laughing the whole way through at how good it all was
I love how in this game it forces you to figure out when to strike in two separate boss fights in this and Reno. In FF16 the bosses have exaggerated endlag which lets you hit them. Still loved FF16 but why the huge amounts of endlag for enemies?
i know EXACTLY what you mean about the end lag. the xvi boss will finish dashing forward or swiping at you and they are stuck in this excessive end lag to cue the player that they are safe to hit. in 7r theres a lot of trying to figure out when the openings are or how to do things so that you can safely attack. it has a lot more thought put into it
Yeah those endlags bother me a lot, feels like for an actual action game, you shouldn't put that much generous window. But I guess they want it to be easy enough for people without experience to action game.
@@CrnaStrela yeah, that's the case. even at ff mode hp and damage are just pump up. no boss mechanic/speed changes. that's the only gripe i have on 16, it's too easy. although battle system is better than 7r. (besides the equipment system)
i think the FF16 devs just really really didnt let loose that much in terms of difficulty of the combat in consideration for the old FF fans who are turn based purists and are close minded when it comes to action, sucks tho next time in FF17 devs should be like "Fk yall we gonna go all out in action and yall better keep up". If it weren't for purists Ryota Suzuki could've made FF16 combat way better than DMC5, FF16 combat is still good but imma still go with DMC5 and FF7R.
is ff7 remake's combat dynamic and hard ? cuz I've been playing kingdom hearts for a while and I'm considering trying ff games and Im hoping the recent ones have enough difficulty for it to not be to easy when passing from kh to ff
I think the first playthrough is balanced pretty nicely. I finished kh2 and 3 on crit before playing 7remake and i still died a few times learning the systems. Its very engaging imo
Why would someone call this insane? An insane fight would be one where the developers seemed to have lost their minds and had no balance. This isn't insane. It's remarkable.
Emo cringe games for emo cringe boys.
Real and true 😎
Emo cringe niggas be like:
And?
Said from the whinny fornite cying baby
@@paklong831 wow son are you projecting yourself 🤣
When Rufus fired those beams from coins, it was such a WTF OMG moment.
Ever play ultrakill?

unreal how cool this game is
Rufus is one my favorites for real
GOAT
Yes sir@@lan1719

@@lan1719 No, Sephiroth is goat.
@@lan1719What equipment and materials did you use in this combat bro?
I did the lazy way and just poisoned the dog and ran around until it collapsed >.>
they really did do such a spectacular job of the remake. I cannot wait for Rebirth. 😍
bro made Darkstar a healer for Rufus 💀 and also 0:27 holy that timing tho
Counterstance ftw, it can even counter ranged attacks.
This was so hard! Really good challenge

can just block in punisher mode and counterstance.
You can stagger him with BRAVER. Braver is that “certain move” that can stagger him when he reloads.
Yeah I do it in the video :)
the most badass businessman in gaming.
Triple slash in between every 3 strike on fake star
From fighting Rufus with a shotgun, to a dual wield laser coin gun, so awesome
I miss Rufus OG double barrel shotgun and his pet name was Dark Nation.
What materia layout did you have for this? I can see elemental+fire and haste, but what else?
what if cloud using katana... his attack speed wiil crazy...

Yeah build up atb and use triple slash, kill the dog, use Braver when he reloads… this fight is quick when you know what to do.
Counterstance or punisher mode for the dog is better then triple slash
@@tubejorrit I use triple slash to separate the dog from Rufus.
Cool stuff 😎😁
Please make video for Hell House hard mode
This combat is what I wish Xenoblade would do
Rufus is probably the 2nd best boss fight in FF7 Remake (1st is Sephiroth obv)
Let's dance *******😂
Cloud is rude(the adjective, not the turks dude)
Man still a suprisingly large lack of punisher mode though is it just not useful ore something?
Builds atb slower and I always need to have a counter stance ready for Rufus
If this were the gameplay of ff16 , boy o boy....
Without a doubt the most ANNOYING boss. Yes I am counting you hellhouse.
