I am using the OSMO pocket 1 for a half year, and aside a few glitches (mostly related to focusing) it´s a great camera. It is very useful on its own, but what I enjoy is how much accessories there are for it, from an external microphone and a Wi-Fi module to various filters and rigs. For me, I'm very satisfied
@@ZangieDoes You have more options. As the OSMO pocket doesn´t have any mount/thread, you need to buy a socket with it. It could be directly from DJI (kinda more expensive) but there are more companies offering the similar product and cheaper. Or you can use OSMO connected to phone, and phone mounted on the mobile holder with the tripod mount. Both ways works, if you buy the standard thread size like 1/4", you are able to use any tripod with the same screw. I prefer the socket, as the usb-c connector is kina wobbly
I use both. It depends for what. The DJI Pocket 2 is easier to carry around and doesn't require any balancing. So it's just super easy, much smaller, etc. And S22 Ultra and Osmo 5 do provide better image quality. But you definitely stand out using that setup. Where people barely notice the Dji Pocket
Hello. My DJI POCKET 2, had the following problem: When recording a video, it puts the date of 2016. With that, when going up to the cloud, it is out of the correct timeline. Do you know how to solve?
I had no idea your resort footage ame from such a tiny powerhouse. I was considering buying an Insta360 Link to record stuff at home (it's also on a Humble). Now I'm conflicted cause I like the idea of recording outside too!
@@YellowProductions thank you for responding. This may sound silly. If I connect the mic that comes with the pack to it will I need to edit the sound in or is it just the same set up as the onboard mic just it is better. Thank you
Hi Chris! Been watching your videos over the years but first time commenting! Love your videos. Thank you for your insightful commentary, explanations, tips and tricks, and reviews. How would you compare this camera to a GoPro if you have used one. I’m looking for a camera to capture vacation memories and this is the first time I’ve seen or head about this camera. Thanks in advance and safe travels. See you in the next video!
Hi Vincent. For capturing "normal" video this is so much better than a gopro. Gopro is good if you need to go underwater, or mount it on a snowboard helmet. But the gimbal action will be better for a normal travel video
I’m really interested in this for my first upcoming abroad trip. I love the size of it. ?? Can you take still pics with it or isolate video clips for still pics? I’m not a vlogger and have never edited a video. I just don’t want a bunch of big bulky stuff to drag around Italy for 2 wks. Info is very much appreciated.
The Osmo is a cool little device when I bought mine it didn’t have the combo kit. Question, do you have any videos on the subway system in Los Angeles? Please and thank you🚦🚥🚦
Was the gimbal developed for the Rocky movie when he was running up the stairs at the museum? I was thinking of the Steadicam. Rocky was the 3rd movie it was used in. Bound for Glory was the first.

It's shocking how good the built in mics are
I love the sand timer countdown aspect! I was staring at the timer and saying "C'mon make it in time!"

Can u use any compatible tripod or only the design tripod for it?

Awesome! I'm sharing this with my son Sunny studying in Vancouver. I'll buy this one . Thanks Chris . Love you❤
Chris, Great stuff! Would you say the Dji 2 is better than an Osmo 5 using a Samsung 22 ultra?
Good question 🤔

Hmm.. i havent had that issue. Have you tried setting them time on it in settings?
@@YellowProductions The time is correct. Only the sequence of numbers in the file names is wrong.
I love mine. Use it often.

my favorite camera, main point is the easy use, and it is a bit better video quality than a phone in the same price range
how good are the built in microphones please
They're just OK. The wireless DJI MIC 2 that comes with the creator combo is quite good

THANKS FOR THE REVIEW

Weiß jemand ob die DJI Pocket 2 eine Funktion hat um im Video Pause zu drücken und dann weiter machen kann ohne das man später die Videos zu schneiden
Yes! you can pause the recording (long press of the button) and moments later, continue.

Yes. It has a picture mode too
Waiting for the new disneyland walking tour!
Hi Chris. Nice price for a little device that can do so many things. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Pretty cool!!

Yup -- here's my video on the LA Subway:ruclips.net/video/F3I6Q4GL2XA/видео.html
I have one of those! Love it! Little fragile though. And the app that you use it with has connection issues. I just don't use the app.
How would you compare the pocket 2 to a regular gimbal like osmo 4 and a smartphone?
I don't ever use the app either
Really good review!
Look at you--you're giving me a run for my money as a camera reviewer!
Hah! Figure I should share my thoughts on some of my toys. Thanks to you Jeff I have the Insta 360 selfie stick on this trip 😉
@@YellowProductions Served me well, as always, in Japan!
I bought one last year. I’m clumsy and knocked off the wide angle lens😢.
Doh
Waiting for a Pocket 3
I'll buy one when it comes out for sure 😉
Per the website, the Do-It-All Handle doesn't have battery 0:54.
😍
Well what will they think of next.

I don't have a spreadsheet that counts them.. but I'd say half and half
