Nice video. I have done well on my local pond using pellets on the hair, but no way could I leave it out more than an hour and a half. Though usually I have had bites before that ;)
Matt was using the 12ft versions, other than the length the rods are identical. The important thing in this scenario is the softness in the tip of the rod to cushion any lunges at netting range but with enough power to get the fish away from any weed beds.

Usually I have bites less than an hour, but I’ll only recast if I’ve had a bite to minimise the disturbance in the swim :)
