I'm an all out Lure Angler! And 99% of the time I fish for predator species. But once or twice a year, I will go specifically for the native Tench. They are simply stunning and beautiful creatures. They will forever remain a favourite for me!
Great video. I’m a ex patriot transplanted to the high desert of Utah. We have great fishing but sadly no tench fishing. It’s probably the only thing I miss from old blighty

Mill Lane is a lovely lake, But those Tench don`t come out easy, I fished it for 3 months in the sping and never had a fish. They where all over me but would`nt eat my bait !! Heavily Carp fished so dont go chucking a rake about or you might end up in the lake.
Any recommendations on a pair of feeder rods for tench fishing anyone? Local to me I have tench between 3lb to 10lb and I'm looking to upgrade to a nice pair of new rods...There is however some dreaded 10lb+ carp kicking about too 🙄.....Cheers in advance 😎🤙🏻🎣🐟
Tri cast 1.5 barbel rods ,I use North Western Kevlites best rods ever made but extremely rare ,all my other rods are tricast,if not for you Drennan Acolytes ,buy cheap buy twice 👍
