TENCH FISHING ON METHOD FEEDER

- In this video we’re off to the very famous Yateley Complex, however, we’re not Carp Fishing - we’re fishing for Tench on Summer Pit. We catch some stunning fish on pellets and simple Method Feeder tactics. Bait used is by SonuBaits and tackle is by Korum. Thanks for watching!

I love catching tench. They can be very aggressive feeders here, smashing insects and they don't mind moving water here.

Hi ,nick live from the river wye this is are second day of the opening of the river season yesterday was a cracking day caught plenty of barbel and chub,the fishing is superb,just set up ready to cast in at 9o'clock i love this place it's pure fishing heaven have a great season nick and keep safe mate tight lines,Derek

Hi Nick some beautiful tench there very nice well fished sir them pelletos i just use quick stops to mount them on the hair they work a treat,like you said it's very busy on the banks i have done lots of fly-fishing small streams for trout just to get away from the busy banks,This coming monday i off to the river wye get there tueday morning fist light on the 16th i love the wye especially the barbel bring it on the river season yes take care Nick and stay safe have a great river season Nick,Alien

Love the fact you fish for so many different species... i love tench although I've rarely targeted them specifically..... had a few nice ones when carp fish!

Fished Summer Pit 3 seasons running i am tench mad and that is the est producing venue i know
Not fished it this year but does contain some lovely tench. It was a bit of a shame those carp went in.

Hi nick what pellets do you use for the method feeder please
Sonubaits 8mm pellet-o’s on the hair. Scalded 6mm Spicy Sausage pellets on the feeder. 👍👍👍
When you are feeding in different places every 40 minutes wouldn't that spread ground bait all over
I have only got a small amount of pellet on the flat bed feeder so I'm not exactly spreading lots of bait all over the place. It's similar to move solid bags around to locate carp. I've found it's a good way to find where they are in the lake.

Another great vid nick, find it enjoyable watching you throughout the fishing year after different species.just wondering why you chose yateley with so many good pits up your way . Lovely to walk around historic lakes but the pressure! Not for me either .
Agreed a puzzling choice at best. Perhaps just to say he fished yateley albeit summer pit?For the record Nick the crucians in summer pit which you mention were never original stockings, they were moved from one of the other yateley waters illegally and placed into summer pit by one of the head guys of RMC angling at the time, Mr Ian Welch. P. S last venue Nick was on was obviously Mill Lane. Bit of a jump up from summer pit for a proper tench challenge as I'm sure you found out. I guess it will be back on to the upper lea for opening season and some runs water barbel fishing to look a "hero" and competent..
Certainly wasn’t to say I’d fished Yateley 😂😂😂😂 Fished a lot of the pits over my way. Nice to spread your wings sometimes. I’m killing time waiting for Frensham tbh, on the same ticket.
Many of our really decent local pits have waiting lists. Many of those waiting lists are currently closed. Just something else to consider here.
@@Lifeonthebank why Frensham. Sure its a nice water but if you're after a double figure tench you'd be better sticking it out on the tougher venue at Mill lane really.

Used to fish summer pit when LS had it, Cracking little lake. Then Farnham got hold of it !!! And now they've chucked a load of carp in there !! Wankers....... Good luck getting a tench out of Mill Lane, I tried and failed, They were there, Just not taking the bait..
Yeah, I don’t understand why they’ve put a load of small carp in it tbh. It makes no sense to me. I’ll be doing a few more sessions on Mill Lane, but it’s going to be tough. I did 2 or 3 sessions on it last year and blanked also. Feels like you’ve gotta go in with scales down carp tactics.
