  • In this video we bring to you a simple side dish for rice, raw banana Kootu. This home style gravy is easy to prepare and ready in under 10 minutes .
    Ingredients
    Raw banana 2
    Turmeric powder 1/8 tsp
    Salt to taste
    Grated coconut 4 tbsp
    Green chilli 3
    Jeera/cumin 1 tsp
    rice flour 1 tsp
    Coconut oil 1 tbsp
    Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
    Urad dal 1 tsp
    Hing/asafoetida a large pinch

    Can we boil the raw bananas with little moong dal,please clarify.THANKS.

      Not necessary also moong dal will take longer to cook so boil them separately and mix

      Do not have any heavy food No fried food at all . you can have curd rice , curd made with no fat milk .Slowly you can introduce thin dabs and veg soups and fruit juices
